We lift you up before the throne of grace, dear brother or sister in Christ, trusting that the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words, just as Romans 8:26 tells us, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered." Though your requests are unspoken, God knows the deepest cries of your heart, and we stand with you in faith, believing He hears and answers according to His perfect will.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would move powerfully in this dear one’s life, bringing comfort, healing, and breakthrough in every area of need. Whether it is emotional pain, physical struggle, spiritual warfare, or relational challenges, we declare Your promises over them. Your Word says in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." We trust You to do just that.
Lord, if there are areas where this precious one has strayed from Your will, we ask that You would gently but firmly draw them back. If there is sin that needs to be confessed, grant them the courage to repent and receive Your forgiveness, for 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Let them walk in the freedom and restoration that only You can provide.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment, that they would be led by Your Holy Spirit in every decision. James 1:5 reminds us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." May they seek Your face above all else and find their strength in You.
Above all, we pray that their faith would remain steadfast, anchored in the truth of Your Word. Even when circumstances seem overwhelming, help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Let them experience Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy designed to steal, kill, or destroy in this life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You, Lord, will fight for them (Exodus 14:14). May they rise up in the authority You have given them as Your children and walk in victory.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the privilege of lifting this dear one before You. We trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28) and that Your plans for them are for peace and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
