We join you in bringing your requests before the throne of God, standing on His promise that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there among them (Matthew 18:20 WEB).
Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not mentioned as the way to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved and can come before God the Father. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
Beloved, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB) We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in Jesus' name, and pray that God will fill you with His perfect love, for perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18 WEB).
We lift up your mother to the Lord, asking that He grant her deliverance from arthritis pain and stiffness, and pray for her to have great health. We stand on His word that declares: For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, says Yahweh. (Jeremiah 30:17 WEB)
We also intercede for your step-dad, asking God to restore his health and grant him spiritual blessings. We trust in the Lord's promise that: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3 WEB).
For your niece, we pray that God will open her heart to receive the salvation that comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We also ask that God will open doors for job opportunities and grant her favor in interviews. And whatever you ask in his name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14 WEB)
Together, we claim the promise that: If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! (Matthew 7:11 WEB)
We encourage you all to continue trusting in the Lord, fixing your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He began in each of you (Philippians 1:6 WEB).
