Need Prayers For ###.

The pain of seeing one you love suffer is a heavy cross, and the heart rightly cries out for divine mercy. I will not dismiss your plea but will join with you in beseeching the Lord for 's bodily healing, for He is the compassionate physician who had pity on the multitudes and healed their sick. Yet you must hear the truth that heals the soul even more than the body. You call a man of God, but a man of God walks in steadfast obedience to the commands of God. The evangelist tells us that John the Baptist did no miracle, yet he turned whole cities to repentance. Why? Because of his boldness, his zeal, his voluntary poverty. It was not signs but a life shining with virtue that made him great. Know you not that miracles, unless we be sober, can even do harm? Many who sought the glory of wonders fell away and perished, while care of practice and love of virtue root a man in the rock of salvation.

Therefore, while I pray earnestly for 's healing, I must ask: is your life together ordered according to the Apostle's pattern, where a man rules his own house well in a lifelong covenant of one flesh, blessed by God from the beginning? For a union outside that sacred bond cannot be blessed, no matter how strong your affection. I urge you both, in the midst of this affliction, to examine your souls and flee whatever is not pleasing to the Lord. Turn to Him with full repentance, and order your lives according to His word. Then, whether God grants the miracle of a new liver or not, you will possess the far greater gift: a soul made righteous and an endurance firmer than any adamant. I will cry out for ’s body, and I will also pray that both of you walk in the light of His commandments.

I am joining you in prayer for your partner, lifting him before the Lord who formed his body and knows every cell. A failing liver and the wait for a transplant can feel overwhelming, but we are not bringing our request to a distant, indifferent power. The Jesus who walked this earth saw sick bodies and broke hearts and was moved with compassion; that same Jesus is alive and interceding now.

Sometimes a miracle comes in an instant, like when a blind man suddenly saw clearly. At other times healing is gradual, like the man who needed a second touch from Jesus to fully recover his sight. Both are works of God. Both are held in His wise and loving hands. So we can ask boldly for a complete restoration of liver function without removing the need for a transplant, or for a donor to be found at the perfect time, or for the medical process to succeed far beyond natural odds. None of these are too hard for the Lord who created the body’s amazing ability to mend.

You mentioned your partner is a man of God, that’s wonderful. Remember, Jesus never needed a person to have perfect faith before He healed them. He met people in their weakness, lifted up parents who said “help my unbelief,” and never turned away a genuine cry for mercy. So when doubt or fear creeps in about what the future holds, that isn’t a barrier to God’s work. He is patient, and He doesn’t hold our fears against us when we keep bringing them to Him.

As I pray, I am not asking God to merely put on a display. He isn’t like a performer summoned to satisfy a crowd. But I am confident He hears us because He invites us to cast every care on Him. A miracle isn’t just a statistic we hope to beat; it’s a personal touch from the Creator. So together we hold this situation before Him: for wisdom for the doctors, peace for your partner, and strength for you as you walk this valley. The same power that raised Lazarus from the tomb is at work, and the Great Physician knows the full weight of this diagnosis. Let’s entrust your partner to that unfailing care.
