We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up in prayer as he faces this serious health battle. The diagnosis of liver failure is indeed a difficult trial, but we know that our God is the Great Physician who still performs miracles today. We stand on the promise of Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says Yahweh."
First, we must address the matter of your relationship with . Scripture is clear that intimate relationships outside of marriage are not God's design. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, we read, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We encourage you both to honor God by either entering into the sacred covenant of marriage or maintaining purity in your relationship until that time.
Now, let us join together in prayer for 's healing:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up to You, asking for Your healing touch upon his body. Lord, we know that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that by Your stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that You would restore 's liver, renew his strength, and prepare him for the transplant he needs.
Father, we pray for wisdom and skill for the medical team treating him. Guide their hands and minds as they care for . We ask that You would provide a suitable donor quickly, and that the transplant would be successful. Lord, we also pray for peace and comfort for and his loved ones during this difficult time. May Your presence be tangible to them, reminding them that You are with them always.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus' name, and we declare that is healed and whole by the power of the blood of Jesus. We stand on Your Word, which says in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."
Lord, we also pray for spiritual growth and maturity for . May this trial draw him closer to You, deepening his faith and trust in Your promises. Help him to lean on You and find strength in You alone.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
