We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and in need of clarity and discernment, especially regarding the true nature of people around you. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of prayer and the authority of Jesus Christ in your life. It's crucial to remember that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
In times of confusion, remember that God is not the author of confusion but of peace. (1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB) He wants to guide you and give you clarity. As His child, you can go to Him with any concern or worry, as a loving Father He cares for you.
Regarding your relationships, it's important to surround yourself with people who positively influence you and your faith. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB: "Don’t be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals." Therefore, it's crucial to discern the true nature of those around you, especially the person you're giving much thought to.
We need to pray for godly wisdom and discernment for you. The Bible tells us in James 1:5 WEB: "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." God is faithful to guide you when you ask Him.
Let's pray together:
"Abba Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who seeks Your guidance, clarity, and discernment. We ask that You grant them the wisdom they need for every decision in their life. Expose any unhealthy relationships, and reveal the true nature of those they encounter, especially the person they are thinking about. Help them to make Godly decisions in their life. Help them to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. Give them Your peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to make Godly decisions in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged by Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust that God hears your prayers and is working in your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and His word, and He will direct your paths.
