Need prayers for threats

My son is getting married in 9 days. I have always had (or I thought I had ) a good relationship with his fiance.

She comes from a troubled backround, with a drug addicted, alcoholic mother. This woman is mentaly ill, and very violent.

I felt really sorry for my future daughter inlaw, as her mother was treating her very poorly around the wedding, and refusing to help at all.

I took it upon myself to pay for the wedding, and have spent close to$10,00.00 .

Tuesday my daughter inlaw to be informed me she didn't want my daughter at her wedding. I was shocked, be angry too, because she keeps telling lies about my daughter, and telling my son how much she wants his sister to be at the wedding, and how bad she feels that his sister doesn't want to come.

Then she told me that the ammount of people for the wedding had doubled, and I told her that was double of the number of persons allowed in the house we rented. When I told her that she twisted everything and told me I was trying to cause her problems. I was only trying to protect myself, as I had signed a legal agreement stating the number of people allowed.

I called and tried to explain the rental house situation to her mother, thinking 2 adults could be reasonable and work out a solution.

Long story short her mother threatened to put my daughter in the hospital if she showed up, and me too if I didn't watch it. She then proceeded to call me names I had never even heard of, and hung up on me.

I grew up in a civilized family, and have no idea what to do.

I need prayers for right action.

I am now terrified for my son to marry into this family.

I want to be supportive and do the right thing, but I know only God has the anwser, and I only want to do his will.

Please pray for my son Jordan, to make the righ choice.

I'm so distraught, I don't even know if this makes sense.

Father, I pray for this woman and for all that she is going through. Help them to decide to do what is right, and to place all their trust in You. I just pray for Your will to be done here, and for peace to be found in the answer. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I don't know if I should say anything, but I'm going to step out on this limb anyway. If you are the one paying for this wedding, and they are threatening your daughter, then I think you need to step back from them. There is no reason to try and reason with them while you are paying the bills. Protect your daughter, your family, and yourself.
