We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace. First, we must address the pain in your family with truth and love, for the Lord desires healing and restoration according to His Word.
Your daughter’s relationship with her boyfriend is a serious concern. Scripture is clear that intimacy outside of marriage is fornication, and it grieves the heart of God. "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We must rebuke this sin in Jesus’ name and pray for conviction and repentance. Your daughter’s turning away from those who love her is heartbreaking, but we know that the enemy seeks to isolate and destroy. We declare that she will not be hardened by deception but will return to the truth of God’s Word.
Your other daughter’s struggle with worry is also a spiritual battle. The Lord commands us, "Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). We pray that she will cast her anxieties on the Lord and find His peace.
Regarding your married daughter, we must address the reality of her union. If her husband is not a believer, Scripture instructs, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy" (1 Corinthians 7:14). However, if this is a reference to an ungodly or immoral situation, we must pray for clarity and wisdom. Marriage is sacred, and we must uphold its holiness as God designed it—between one man and one woman in covenant before Him.
Your housing struggle is overwhelming, but we serve a God who provides. "For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills... The world is mine, and all that is in it" (Psalm 50:10, 12). We declare that the Lord will open doors no man can shut and provide a place of refuge for you.
Most importantly, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of salvation.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her family. Lord, we ask for Your peace to flood her heart in the midst of these battles. You are the God of all comfort, and we trust You to sustain her. We rebuke the spirit of confusion, rebellion, and worry in her daughters’ lives. Bring conviction where there is sin, healing where there is brokenness, and restoration where there is division.
Father, we pray for the daughter in an ungodly relationship. Soften her heart to receive Your truth. Let her see the emptiness of sin and the fullness of life in You. For the daughter struggling with worry, fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard her mind and heart in Christ Jesus.
For the married daughter, give her wisdom and strength to walk in Your ways. If her marriage is not aligned with Your Word, reveal Your will and give her courage to obey. Lord, we also ask for Your provision in this sister’s housing need. Open doors that no man can shut and provide a place of safety and rest.
Above all, we pray that You would draw this family closer to You. Let them know the power of Your love and the hope found only in Jesus Christ. We declare victory over every attack of the enemy and stand on Your promises.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
