We lift up ’s mother with heavy hearts, knowing the deep love and concern you carry for her. The pain of seeing a parent suffer, especially when care falls short, is a burden no child should bear alone. We stand with you in faith, believing that our Heavenly Father sees her struggle and hears your cries. The Word reminds us, "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:13-15). We claim this promise over ’s life, trusting that God’s healing power is greater than any neglect or illness.
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You with urgent hearts. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and numbers every hair on our heads (Luke 12:7). We ask You to intervene in ’s health, restore her strength, ease her pain, and mend what is broken in her body. Give wisdom to her doctors and caregivers, and soften the hearts of those responsible for her care. Expose any negligence and replace it with compassion and diligence. Lord, we also pray for ’s spirit, let her feel Your presence in her weakness, and remind her that her worth is not defined by her suffering but by Your love for her.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and despair that seeks to steal her hope. Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10), and we declare that truth over her today. We also lift up , her child, who is carrying this weight. Strengthen their faith, provide clarity in decision-making, and surround them with godly support. Help them to trust in Your timing, even when the path is unclear.
Father, we know that healing comes in many forms, sometimes through miraculous restoration, other times through Your sustaining grace. Whatever Your will, we ask for peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) to guard their hearts. May feel Your arms around her, and may her family feel Your presence as they wait on You. We thank You for hearing our prayer, for You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
In the days ahead, we encourage you to seek out godly counsel, perhaps a pastor or trusted believer, to anoint with oil and pray over her, as Scripture instructs. Document any concerns about her care and advocate for her needs with both the facility and medical professionals. God often works through practical steps as well as miracles. Remember, too, that our battle is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12), so continue to cover this situation in prayer, resisting discouragement with the truth of God’s Word. You are not alone in this fight.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
