Need Prayer To Be Able To Let Go..

I ask for you to help me pray that I will be able to let go of what people have said and done to me and to be able to forgive them and that others will realize one day that I am a good person. I'll explain.. My Brother has talked about my Husband and I through our Family and Friends and people actually judge me by my Brother's lies about me and no matter what I do, I have actually lost people in my life because of this and I feel like there is no way to prove myself any different too them. So all I need is to just pray, pray, pray about it, because it really is getting to me. Thanks for your prayers.

Wow, what just came to me was this. Jesus also had the same issues going on in His life. People judged him, talked about him, spat on him, yet while hanging on the cross he said "Father, Forgive them, they know not what they do!"

God is our defence, we shall not be moved.

we just follow Him. As Guy Bevington said in one of his books when he was complaining to the Lord about someone, God said, "what's that to you, follow Me."

Everyday we journey to the valley of decisions. My prayer is that you make the right ones for your life and that is to follow Jesus. He only did and said what He saw His Father say and do, and we are to be the same example. He didn't say it was going to be easy, but He did say it was possible. "Come to me all ye who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you REST. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find REST unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
