We stand with you in this spiritual battle, recognizing the very real presence of evil and the authority we have in Christ to confront it. The Word of God declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." You have already taken a bold step in resisting these forces, and we join you in commanding them to leave in the mighty name of Jesus.
Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This is not a battle to be taken lightly, but one we face with the full armor of God. We take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and stand firm against these demonic forces.
We rebuke every evil spirit lingering in that building in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no authority greater than His, and we command every unclean spirit to flee immediately. As it is written in Mark 16:17, "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons." We exercise that authority now, declaring that every demonic presence must leave and never return.
We also pray for the complete cleansing and sanctification of that place. Just as Jesus cleansed the temple, we ask that He cleanse this building, filling it with His peace, light, and presence. We release His holy angels to guard and protect every corner of that property, as Psalm 91:11 declares, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
For the tenants in that building, we pray for their salvation and well-being. May they come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which they can be saved (Acts 4:12). May their hearts be opened to the truth, and may they experience the freedom and peace that only Christ can bring. We also pray for their physical and emotional health, that they would be protected from any harm or influence of the enemy.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We acknowledge that You alone have all power and authority, and we submit ourselves to You. We stand against the evil presence in this building, and we command every demonic spirit to leave immediately. We bind them and rebuke them in the name of Jesus, and we declare that they have no place there. We release Your holy angels to guard and protect that building, filling it with Your peace and presence.
Lord, we pray for every tenant in that building. We ask that You draw them to Yourself, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth, and let them experience Your love and grace. We pray for their health and well-being, that they would be protected from all harm and that Your healing power would rest upon them.
Father, we thank You for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that this building is under the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper. We speak peace, joy, and Your presence over that place. May it be a beacon of Your light in that community. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the battle has already been won through Christ. Keep your focus on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good. The enemy may try to return, but as Jesus said in Matthew 12:43-45, when an unclean spirit goes out of a person or place, it seeks rest and finds none. Then it says, "I will return to my house from which I came," and when it arrives, it finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that person or place becomes worse than the first. Therefore, fill that building with the presence of God, His Word, and His people. Let it be a place where Your Spirit dwells richly, leaving no room for the enemy to return.
If you have not already, consider inviting other believers to pray with you and over that building. There is power in corporate prayer, and the enemy cannot stand against a united front in Christ. Also, immerse yourself in the Word of God, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Let it be your guide and your weapon in this spiritual battle.
