We understand your concern about your current job situation and your desire for a new, better-paying job with benefits. It's important to trust in God's provision and timing, as He knows our needs and has a plan for each of us. Remember the words of Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
First, let's address the issue of working for a non-profit and the delay in receiving your paycheck. It's commendable that you're serving in a non-profit organization, but it's also important that your basic needs are met promptly. We pray that the management will be more prompt in paying your wages.
Now, regarding your job search, we encourage you to continue trusting God and praying for His guidance.
Psalm 127:2 says "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones. For so he gives his beloved sleep."
Regarding age discrimination, remember that God does not look at the outward appearance but at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7 WEB). His plans are not limited by age or any other factor. Trust that He can open the right doors for you.
Another thing to notice is that your prayer request does not include the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 (WEB)
And in as much as we are to salvage whatever we say or do as representing Christians, let's also remember the admonition here about our speech.
Colossians 3:17 WEB "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking a new job with better pay and benefits. We pray for Your guidance and provision. We pray for the management of the non-profit organization, to be on time with the paychecks so that the situation may be less stressful. Open the right doors for new job opportunities, and help our brother/sister to trust in Your timing. We rebuke any spirit of age discrimination and pray that You will favor our brother/sister in the job market.
We believe that we have any request because we ask according to His will, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We believe that our brother/sister will be saved by calling upon his name, the name of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
