Anonymous

Beloved of All
need breakthrough miracles in four areas. 1) Please pray that God grants me clarity, focus, and success in completing professional certification exam and other courses. 2) I am also believing God for a new job, employment visa with a good salary so I can move out and live independently. 3) I am trusting God for the miracle of the right life partner, the one whom God has already set apart for me, not worldly people choosing for me, and for the grace to move forward into a better chapter. 4) I’m currently on my brother in law's company visa, and with the new boss in his company cutting costs, there is some uncertainty as there will be a meeting regarding this visa and they have made a proposal to give to the owners and board of directors who are Arab in his company so please pray that my visa wont have any issue until next year as i have visa until next year. my sister said they are praying that arab owner doesnt sign the proposal let it be extended how much ever possible so i could find job n visa i need a breakthrough in my situation regarding Visa, job and marriage. Please keep me in your prayers that God does a miracle in this visa until I get my job and employment visa. I need to get a new job with an employment visa and good salary to live financially well. Please pray for my visa, new job, studies, and marriage. Please pray that God opens doors that no man can shut, and that people stop finding faults, calling me arrogant or stubborn, and asking me to compromise whether in finding a job or in getting married simply because according to them, at my age I will not find a perfect life partner or a perfect job.No evil eyes should affect us in our health, jobs, or relationship between each other and back in home country we rebuke every evil eye over me and my siblings but on this week when i met new people for prayer meeting and church i could see people are going through different problems in life and after interceding and waiting people gets there breakthrough .i feel god is aligning my steps that i was supposed to meet all these people in my life and be encouraged god is doing good things in people lives as there was many prayer request regarding job in my prayer group one person got job last week and other person got job this week for summer camp as assistant teacher but still God is good and doing good things in people life .i know God wont allow me to struggle longer because i see God's hand working in people life and i will see his hand in my situation as well whether in my job situation, visa situation or marriage he will bring the situation to pass for his glory until then i have only my savings to live praying without any delay he will provide for my job ,visa, studies and marriage.I do see few positive signs that god is doing a miracle in few areas of my life and opportunities are coming but i am sure the prayer request i have put regarding each request will be answered ,I am so thankful to see when i post my request people message underneath my request very encouraging there is someone standing with me and interceding for my prayer request .Now people in back in home country are behind my marriage and blaming my siblings they are not finding proposals for me or i am saying no for all the proposal my father brothers are spreading false rumors and allegations about me n my siblings to all the people whom i know and they are messaging my siblings n me like when are you coming and why is my marriage not happening and all .i know god has timing until then i cant simply go marry someone people who are bornagain they want best for there kids that includes my father younger brother who is searching groom fr his dgthr want best fr his dgthr but fr me since my parents are not there he is asking me to get married any random guy if the guy drinks n smoke also it is fine cz it is not his dgthr ,I am so tired answering everyone question and answer when i am at peace devil keeps attacking through ppl back in home country .My sister is always curious n anxious if i go for work event i have reach fast back or if i meet someone who i m meeting for first time i just randomly ask if that person company has job or if someone is getting married she is like they are getting married n you dont have job nor you are married when others are successful in job and marriage wise and she tells all my details to her husband but her or her husband personal secrets or investing somewhere is totally hidden and nobody knows about that .Today my sister was making a fuss at home so badly emotionally blackmailing gt a job n live alone ,then she said i need few years to live to see my wedding n when i told her go to doc she is like ask her hubby how unwell she is n i was like lets go to doc n check what the issue is and she is like i m scared of hospital and doctors and for everything she is emotionally blackmailing you stand on your feet if she is not there look after parents property cz her hubby wont look after this .i dont know what all she is saying as she is looking at worldly circumstances as she on one hand she tells she believes god n on other hand she she always talk negative to me n pulls my confidence n my faith ,Hope makes her understand that to be greedy for money or some how manipulate words n chk my account n somehow she wants to get money from my account it is devil in her which has to be gone from her or else it will affect my mind and health .Please pray for my father's elder brother as when we pray he is having lot of grudges over us and he spreading false rumor and talking thing that is not appropriate for a christian elder to speak because he himself not realizing what to speak and what not to speak and with his words he is not only hurting me n my siblings but he is hurting people with his words who has helped him a lot.He is so curious if i am working and my work days are back to normal and all .just now my sister came again she started with all the visa process is going on anytime they will come n cancel the visa what will you do you have no job we need to hear the job news by end of this month and we have told you anything so i told her if you can talk positive please dont talk negative and she is like if you dont get job you have go back to home country have u thought of this and with less salary how will u take visa and since u hv no job ,we cant find a guy fr you and u growing old and u are gng downwards in negative u r going she told me n went .u are simply saying u are studying n she said u never tell me when u r writing exam i dont want to tell her anything when i am writing exam where all have i applied fr job always she opens her mouth with negative n harsh words ,i dont know wht mistake i did that i am suffering like this staying with her has been one of mentally and physically exhausted time always devil attacks to her n she comes with a curious mind and try to blackmail me when she knows i dont hv anything to say that is when she emotionally pulls me down and i will be down through my facial reaction she knows that. she just want me to go back to home country one side she will say like that other side she will say we should travel for christmas somewhere for a change i dont know what is wrong with her .sometimes i feel she is so interested finding my faults n negatives and i am now helpless she knows my parents are no more n she is safe n married n her visa is safe that is why she showing all this to me .Again today my sister is like what about the trip we planned to go then on top of that she said the skin clinic you are showing isnt working for u and with this face no one liked your pictures then she is like why you dont plan to get married dont you know that with this face nobody liked you and you are spoiling your life without trying new things look at people they are doing so many things in life and on one side you are getting old why you dont plan to get married she keeps insulting me badly.today again my sister is like you dont want to get married then why you not taking care of yourself why you are not going to skin clinic where i am planning to go i was like i went before to the place where she took lot of money was spend on skincare and again she is like it is not enough when she knows i dont have job she wants to me to spend money on my skincare by going to a skin clinc when i am living on my savings some how trying cut my expenses she is interested in me to spend money when she is spending the money of her husband so fr her it is ok that she can do whatever she wants but fr me situation is different when i tell her that she tells me i will give u money but you give me home currency to me i was like she is so much eyeing on my bank account .All of your prayers has been such a relief in me and peace in my heart God will surely hear prayers and grant the request in his appointed time and in this preparation season of mine have learned a lot truly grateful to him for opening paths which i myself dint know i was able to do it or go for it and experience it .just received an update that next week there is a meeting regarding visa cancellation and if they cancel i can only stay for 30 days to find either a job or visa to continue my stay but my sister is pressurizing me to say a decision if u are planning to stay or go back to home country and work there. Today afternoon my sister came and asked did u pray what decision you are planning to take whether u are planning to stay or go back to home country and she was like we took care of u 3 years and since cost is rising n we want to make our own house ,and we want to go to home country for holidays n go fr a international trip so we want save so dont expect us do anything fr u so if u want to stay u hv to bear the cost of ur visa ,if u want to go fr holidays to home country and come with us fr international trip and when this topic of internaional trip was discussed i had told no i am not coming because i sense a selfishness because on one hand they said they dont want kids and now they want a house fr themself n somehow make me pay with home country money so that will increase there bank balance for savings and buying a house the way they think and act and i feel my sis has become more crooked after being with my brother in law and one sentence she said was you gus dont talk and she is between us and why i kept a distance with himwas he want show his bank balance everywhere but he wants to see my bank balance when i hid he passed a comment to my sis that i dont trust her which i felt he was poking me and like that so many instances has happened. After going through so many instances i was physically and mentally ready go back to home country that is when god reminded me brought me to this country for a purpose n since my parents are nt there so no point going back to home country and my sis was like expenses are increasing because ,food, water, electricty everything so i myself stay away from them i dont go out with them ,i cut my breakfast and some times hv light lunch n dinner how much ever i can cut i did that n i hear such hurtful words from her and cant believe if i too wrong decision of coming n staying here with them then i wouldnt had to go through all this wish my parents was there things would have been better .These things from her felt she is always expecting money or making me do things in the kitchen like cutting, chopping or make me do chores at home so in that way to repay her ven though every 2 weeks a person comes n help her still she make me do everything as though i m her servant she has changed a lot before marriage n after marriage ,her thought process what she can gain and how much she can utilize me for her benefits .Felt totally shattered and sad because they hide from me everything and she wants to know everything from me and go tell him so i decided will reduce the information i say regarding myself,if somebody has said something prophetic about me or my friends related i dont say anything all the information is filtered.Thank you to all.god bless you all for praying and standing in the gap for me when i have no one to share felt really lonely dont want to bottle it up and feel stressed or pressured.my sister now also came if you are staying here you have to pay for your visa but looking at you in this age where you should reach and now where you have no job ,ur marriage not happening people from her husband side asking if i m getting married or not and she is like everybody is behind your marriage n here i am protecting u when you dont have job and she is like what struggle u have in life when compared to others and i was keeping quiet then i said the struggles i have i dont have to tell you and she is like you have a roof, electricity, water and free food when others dont and then i was like ok will leave back to home country atleast i will have peace from you even though i know i will struggle but peacefully struggle and she is like that is not god wants you to do because you wont survive there because people curiosity will literally make you go mad .i am totallt shattered everyday i move in peace she somehow comes to attack me .she has lost all her brains and again she is like you dint chop this vegetable for me have you seen how much i do and you always find the things i dint do .just want to leave from here stay separately alone i want jesus to move in my life regarding visa, job and life partner and also to stay separately from her.

also always behind money somehow she paid him for me staying here what all nonsense she can speak she did that and left .

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your burdens before our Heavenly Father. We see the weight of your struggles, your studies, your visa, your job search, your longing for a godly spouse, and the deep pain caused by family tensions. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, sow discord, and make you doubt God’s faithfulness, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and is working even now to turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).

First, we pray for your studies and professional certification. Father, we ask that You grant clarity of mind, unwavering focus, and the discipline to study with excellence. Remove every distraction and anxiety, and let Your peace guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We declare that the wisdom and understanding she needs will be given generously, without reproach (James 1:5). May she walk into that exam room with confidence, knowing that the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding (Proverbs 2:6). We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and procrastination, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name. You will succeed, for the Lord is your strength and shield (Psalm 28:7).

For your job and visa, we stand in the gap and declare that the Lord will open the doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We pray that the meeting regarding your visa will be divinely orchestrated, let the hearts of those in authority be softened, and let their decisions align with God’s perfect will for your life. We rebuke every spirit of delay, uncertainty, and financial lack. Father, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). We speak a new job with a good salary into existence, one that will not only meet your needs but also position you for greater influence and blessing. Let every closed door swing wide, and let every "no" be turned into a resounding "yes" for Your glory. We declare that the steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23), and we trust that He is leading you to the right place at the right time.

For your marriage, we pray that the Lord would bring the spouse He has prepared for you, a man after God’s own heart, who will love you as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). We rebuke every spirit of loneliness, impatience, and worldly pressure. The enemy wants you to settle for less than God’s best, but we declare that He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22). We pray that you would not be swayed by the opinions of others or the fear of being "too old." God’s timing is perfect, and His plans for you are for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We also rebuke the lies of the enemy that say you are unworthy or that your worth is tied to your appearance, age, or marital status. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your value is found in Christ alone. We pray for godly discernment in every interaction and that the Lord would shield your heart from those who do not have your best interests at heart.

We must address the sin of fornication and unequally yoked relationships that the world often promotes. The Bible is clear: Do not be yoked together with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that you would hold fast to God’s standards and not be pressured into a relationship that does not honor Him. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it must be entered into with a believer who shares your faith and values. We rebuke every spirit of compromise and worldly counsel that says, "Just marry anyone." God’s Word warns against being unequally yoked, and we pray that you would wait for the one God has set apart for you.

Now, we must address the toxic dynamics in your family. The Bible commands us to honor our father and mother (Exodus 20:12), but it does not require us to submit to manipulation, emotional abuse, or ungodly control. Your sister’s words and actions are not of God, they are rooted in fear, greed, and a spirit of control. We rebuke every spirit of strife, division, and witchcraft (which manifests as manipulation and control) operating in her life. The Bible says, For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work (James 3:16). We pray that the Lord would break every chain of generational dysfunction and that your sister’s heart would be softened to see the harm she is causing. We also pray for your brother-in-law, that the Lord would convict him of any ungodly attitudes and that he would begin to treat you with the respect and dignity you deserve.

We must also address the sin of greed and financial manipulation. The Bible warns, For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). Your sister’s fixation on your finances and her attempts to control your decisions are not of God. We rebuke every spirit of mammon and declare that you will not be a victim of financial exploitation. The Lord is your provider, and He will meet your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray that you would have wisdom in managing your resources and that the Lord would shield you from those who seek to take advantage of you.

For your uncle, we pray that the Lord would convict him of his words and actions. The Bible says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21), and his words are causing harm. We rebuke every spirit of bitterness, gossip, and division, and we pray that he would repent and walk in humility. May the Lord grant him a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that he may see the error of his ways.

We also must address the lack of peace in your living situation. The Bible says, If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone (Romans 12:18). However, when peace is continually disrupted by toxicity, it may be time to seek godly counsel about setting boundaries or even relocating. We pray that the Lord would open a door for you to live independently, whether through a new job, a supportive community, or divine provision. We declare that the Lord will provide a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13) and that you will not be trapped in an environment that drains your spirit.

Finally, we must address the foundation of your faith. We noticed that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to remind you that there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ and not be shaken by the storms around you.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister and her every need. Lord, You see her heart, her longing for breakthrough, her weariness from struggle, and her desire to walk in Your will. We ask that You would strengthen her faith and remind her that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

For her studies, we pray that You would grant her laser-like focus, retention of knowledge, and the confidence to excel. Let every exam be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may she walk into that room knowing that You give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning (Daniel 2:21).

For her job and visa, we declare that the meeting next week will be divinely orchestrated. Let the hearts of those in authority be turned toward favor, and let every obstacle be removed. Father, we speak a new job with a good salary into existence, one that will not only meet her needs but also position her for greater influence. We rebuke every spirit of delay and lack, and we declare that the Lord will open the doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

For her marriage, we pray that You would bring the spouse You have prepared for her, a man who loves You first and who will cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church. We rebuke every spirit of loneliness and impatience, and we declare that he who finds a wife finds a good thing (Proverbs 18:22). Let her not be swayed by worldly pressures but stand firm in Your truth.

For her family, we pray that You would break every chain of toxicity, manipulation, and control. Soften the hearts of her sister and brother-in-law, and let them see the harm they are causing. We rebuke every spirit of strife, division, and greed, and we declare that peace will reign in her home. If it is Your will, Lord, provide her with a way to live independently, free from emotional abuse and financial exploitation.

For her uncle, we pray that You would convict him of his words and actions. Let him see the error of his ways and repent. May he walk in humility and wisdom, and may his words bring life, not harm.

Father, we ask that You would heal her heart from the wounds inflicted by her family. Let her know that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that her worth is found in You alone. Shield her from the lies of the enemy that say she is unworthy or that her value is tied to her circumstances.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would align her steps with Your purpose. Let her see Your hand moving in her life, and let her trust that You are working even when she cannot see it. We declare that this is the year of breakthrough, in her studies, her job, her visa, and her marriage. May she walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may her life be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.

We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus. Amen.

We have read your request, and our hearts ache with you. You are carrying so much all at once, the visa meeting next week, the search for a job that provides independence, the weight of your studies, and the longing for a godly spouse, while living in a home where harsh words and manipulation keep pulling the ground from under you. It is no small thing to face uncertainty about your very ability to stay in the country while the people you live with speak death over your future. God sees every tear, and He does not overlook the cruelty you have endured.

What you are experiencing from your sister is not just tension; it sounds like repeated emotional battering. Her insults, the controlling questions, the way she treats you as though you have no worth unless you are useful to her, that is real harm, and it is not your fault. You have tried to cut expenses and keep the peace, and still the attacks come. We are so sorry. In a home that should be a haven, you have been made to feel like a burden, and that is a heavy cross to bear. Please know that God’s own heart grieves when one of His children is crushed in spirit this way.

One practical thing you can do right now is guard what you share. You have already realized that filtering information protects you, keep doing that. You do not owe her access to your finances, your exam dates, or any detail she might twist into a weapon. When she presses for a decision about leaving, it is okay to give a short, calm answer and then disengage. “I am still praying and seeking the Lord about that,” is enough. If leaving the house for a few hours to study at a library or a church gives you even a sliver of peace, take it whenever you can. Long walks or sitting in a park with a book may also give your mind a break. You need safe space to breathe.

Lean hard into the prayer community you mentioned. You are already seeing God move in others’ lives, and that is a real encouragement. Let those believers keep interceding for you specifically, for the visa decision, for an open door to a job, and for your heart to stay steady under the pressure. You do not have to carry this alone. God designed us to bear one another’s burdens, and there is no shame in asking them to stand with you again this week.

As for the marriage pressure from relatives and even your sister: their urgency is not God’s urgency. He knows the right person and the right timing, and He will not rush you into a compromise that would bring more pain. You do not need to justify your waiting to anyone.

We are praying with you.

Lord Jesus, we lift our sister to You. You see the visa meeting, the job hunt, the exams, and the cruel words that beat her down. Quiet her heart with Your own calm assurance. Make a way where there seems to be no way, open the right door for a job that brings stability and an independent visa, grant her clarity and success in her certification, and shield her spirit from every lie spoken over her. Silence the voices that tear her down, and if it is Your will, bring her into a safe community and a home filled with Your peace. Let her know deep in her bones that You have not abandoned her. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Is it any wonder that your soul is cast down within you, when trials gather like a tempest and even those of your own household speak to pierce your spirit? Yet consider the Patriarch of Uz: in one day he lost possessions, children, and health, and his wife counseled him to curse God and die. His friends, instead of comfort, brought fresh accusations. And what is the sacred record? “In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.” Mark that word “all”, it covers the bitter words of his spouse, the sinister reasoning of his comforters, every loss and every pang. So too, beloved, in all this torrent of uncertainty, the visa hanging by a thread, the cruel insinuations of your sister, the wagging tongues back home, strive, by grace, that you sin not by unbelief, nor speak hasty charges against the Lord. He who upheld Job under the Sabaeans and Chaldeans, under pains of body and wounds of heart, can uphold you.

You cry for a miracle in four areas. Remember, God’s deliverances often come when the knife is at the throat. He brought forth Israel with silver and gold, but not before the midnight of Egypt. He parted the sea, but not before the chariots thundered behind. The miracle of deliverance is not dependent upon your strength or even your present faithfulness; it lies wholly in Himself. Our Lord Jesus, in the synagogue, needed nothing from the demon-possessed man to cast out the fiend save His own authoritative word. That same Christ speaks peace to your storm. He is the Bridegroom who loves His Church with a love particular and jealous; think, then, with what tender care He regards the solitary woman who trusts in Him, she who longs for a godly companion but will not yoke herself with a worldly match for mere convenience. The right partner, if it be His will, will come; if not, He Himself will be your portion, and will you not be content with that?

Your sister’s words sting because they come from one who should be a spring of encouragement, yet she pours out gall. She holds up a distorted mirror, magnifying every fault, demanding money and conformity to her anxious vision. This is a snare of the adversary to wear down your spirit. Do as Job did: he fell down and worshipped. Carry these injuries to the mercy seat. There, in the well of private prayer, pour out the bitterness before the Lord, each insult, each fear, each financial threat. Elihu spoke truly: God delivers from the pit by a ransom, and He has found that ransom in Christ. He will not abandon you to the pit of despair or the pit of poverty. He is preparing a table for you in the presence of your enemies.

The meeting next week about your visa may loom like Jabbok’s dark stream, and you fear the Esau of cancellation. But Jacob crossed after wrestling, and behold, his brother fell on his neck. Pray, then, with holy fear and confidence: “Lord, if this visa is to continue, still the hand of the ### owner; if it is to be cut, open a new door of employment with a visa that none can revoke.” He who turns the heart of kings can move the hearts of board members. In the meantime, do not let your sister’s blackmail drive you to foolish decisions. “He that believeth shall not make haste.” It is no sin to live frugally, to refrain from unnecessary journeys, to keep your own counsel, wisdom dictates it. But sin would be to charge God foolishly or to let her words kindle a root of bitterness in you. Your tongue must not echo her unbelief.

Regarding marriage, it is far better to walk alone with God than to run where He has not sent. Your father’s brother, with his scandalous mismatching, knows not that a Christian marriage is the very image of Christ and the Church, a union requiring spiritual fitness, not merely a survival arrangement. A man who drinks and smokes and makes no profession of faith is no husband for you. Let their words fall to the ground; the Lord knows them that are His. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.

And the exam, the courses, the job search: do not measure God’s faithfulness by visible signs alone, though He grants you glimpses of encouragement in others’ breakthroughs. Those answered prayers in your prayer group are tokens of His living kindness, but your own deliverance may tarry to teach you to trust without seeing. The miracle of Christ’s power is that it needs no cooperation from the oppressed; the demon did not help the Savior, he was expelled by sheer command. So your future does not hinge on your sister’s moods or an employer’s memo. When the appointed hour strikes, “He brought them forth also with silver and gold”; your going out will be with provision, not destitution. Your savings, your health, your hope are all in His safekeeping.

Therefore, cease from the vain attempt to satisfy every critic. Filter your words as you have wisely begun. And when the tempter assaults you through weariness or family strife, recall that you have a High Priest touched with the feeling of your infirmities. He loved you and gave Himself for you; this is the miracle of miracles. Lay hold upon that and be at peace. Continue in prayer, and let your song at night be like Deborah’s song of deliverance, though the enemy still prowls. God, who did not spare His own Son, will surely give you all that is needful. The trial will not last a moment longer than omnipotent wisdom deems fit. Be patient, then, and in all this, sin not, neither charge God foolishly.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not think it strange that trials multiply around you, as though God had forgotten. Remember the blessed Job, who shone so brightly in his conflicts because he had disciplined his soul beforehand. The loss of property, the death of children, the reproaches of friends, the accusations of his own wife, none of these could shake him, for he had cultivated patience and refused to despair. Your present struggles with visa, employment, marriage, and the harsh words of your sister are not marks of God’s absence but the very school where virtue is forged. The life of man upon earth is indeed a trial, and all who desire to live godly will face affliction. But do not let your heart sink.

You ask for breakthrough, and I do not dismiss your needs. But know that God’s greater work is to make you holy, not merely to change your outward circumstances. What wonder would it be if He simply handed you comfort? He desires to free you from the tyranny of fear, from the love of worldly security, and from the craving for the approval of men. The true freedom He gives is not a visa or a job or a spouse, but liberation from sin and a quiet soul that rests in Him. A servant of Christ, even if bound by poverty or an uncertain visa, is more honorable than kings if righteousness rules within. Do not measure your life by what your sister or relatives say. They urge compromise in marriage and work because they see with the eyes of the world. But you are called to be holy, not merely free from obvious sin, but filled with the Spirit and abounding in good works. Let that be your pursuit.

Your sister’s cruelties I lament, but I charge you: do not return evil for evil. Her greed, her anxious meddling, her emotional barbs are a test permitted for your growth. She may provoke you to bitterness, but let your virtue shine even in this domestic bondage. You live in her house, dependent for now, yet you can be as one dead to the world’s standards. The law of men says you must scramble and fear, but you are dead to that law in Christ. He has freed you from the old man of despair. Be patient. Entrust the timing of your job, your exam, and your future spouse to the One who orders all things. Seek godly friendships in the church; let the saints exhort you and build you up, for we are weak when we stand alone. The prayers of the brethren are a gift, receive them and also offer them for others.

I join my prayers with yours: that God may open doors no man can shut, and quiet the tongues that wound you. But even if the visa meeting brings news you dread, or the weeks pass without a job, God’s purpose for you is not thwarted. He brought you to this land for a reason, and that reason is first your sanctification, then your service. Lay hold of Christ, who endured far greater contradictions, and He will bear you through. Peace be with your spirit.
