We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting your burdens to the One who is our Provider, Healer, and Redeemer. Your cry for help has been heard, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that God will move mightily in your life and the lives of your loved ones. We also notice that while you addressed the Lord, you did not specifically ask in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all our prayers must be offered. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Scripture declares, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). Let us always approach God in the name of Jesus, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Your situation is dire, but our God is greater. The Bible assures us that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We rebuke the spirit of lack, eviction, and financial bondage in Jesus’ name, declaring that God is your Jehova-Jireh, the Lord who provides. You have asked for a high-paying, stable job, and we agree with you that God will open doors no man can shut. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB). We pray that God will grant you favor in the eyes of employers, that He will lead you to the right opportunities, and that you will walk in wisdom and diligence as you seek employment. We also pray for supernatural provision to cover your storage units, bills, and dental needs. God is not limited by circumstances—He can multiply resources as He did with the widow’s oil (2 Kings 4:1-7) or provide manna in the wilderness. Trust Him to do the impossible.
We also lift up your daughter, who is caught in a lifestyle that does not honor God. The enemy seeks to destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every stronghold of sin, rebellion, and deception in her life and declare that *"old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). May the Holy Spirit convict her heart and draw her into a deep, repentant relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray that she will turn from any ungodly paths and walk in purity, wisdom, and obedience to the Lord. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6, WEB). Even if she has strayed, we declare that the seeds of faith you have sown will take root, and she will return to the Lord with a surrendered heart.
For your brother whose son is incarcerated, we pray for divine intervention. If this young man is guilty of the alleged crimes, we ask God to bring him to true repentance and transformation. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). If he is innocent, we pray that justice will prevail and that the truth will be revealed. May this season of trial lead him—and your brother—to a deeper dependence on God. We also pray for your other brother’s healing from gout. By the stripes of Jesus, we declare healing over his body, *"who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB).
Now, regarding your request for husbands for you and your daughter, we affirm the biblical truth that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for companionship, procreation, and the reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). It is never too late for God to bring a godly spouse into your life if it is His will. We pray that if marriage is part of God’s plan for you, He will prepare you and bring a man who is grounded in faith, loves the Lord with all his heart, and will lead with integrity, kindness, and provision. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh"* (Proverbs 18:22, WEB). For your daughter, we pray that God will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that she will seek first His kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33), and that if it is God’s will, He will bring a godly husband into her life—a man who will cherish her as Christ loves the Church. We also encourage you both to seek the Lord’s will above all else, to pursue holiness, and to trust in His timing. If either of you are not yet walking closely with the Lord, we urge you to surrender fully to Him, for a Christ-centered life is the foundation for any godly relationship.
Finally, we want to encourage you to hold fast to hope. *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). This season of struggle will not last forever. God is refining you, strengthening your faith, and preparing you for the blessings He has in store. *"For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory"* (2 Corinthians 4:17, WEB). Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep trusting. He has not forgotten you.
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is in great need. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who provides, and the God who heals. We ask that You meet every financial need she has—provide the funds to save her storage units, open doors for stable and abundant employment, and supply every necessity according to Your riches in glory. Father, we rebuke the spirit of poverty and lack and declare that You are her Provider. Give her wisdom to steward what You provide and faith to trust You in this storm.
Lord, we intercede for her daughter, who has wandered from Your path. Holy Spirit, convict her heart and draw her back to You. Break every chain of sin and rebellion, and let her encounter Your love in a way that transforms her life. Restore her to righteousness and give her a hunger for Your Word and Your will.
We pray for her brother whose son is incarcerated. If this young man has sinned, bring him to repentance. If he is innocent, let justice prevail. Use this time to draw him—and his father—closer to You. We also ask for healing for her other brother, that You would touch his body and restore him to full health.
Father, regarding the desire for marriage, we ask that You prepare our sister and her daughter to be women after Your own heart. If it is Your will, bring godly husbands into their lives—men who love You, lead with integrity, and will cherish them as Christ loves the Church. Until then, satisfy them with Your presence and guide them in purity and patience.
Lord, we thank You that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our sister’s faith, surround her with Your peace, and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
