We join with you in prayer and we hear your deep desire for complete deliverance and freedom from the works and influence of the devil and Satan, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We rejoice that you have called upon Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have authority and access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved and delivered. We are reminded of the truth that the Son of God was revealed for this very purpose, as it is written, He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8

We also want to gently encourage you with biblical understanding about how God gives us victory. Scripture teaches that Jesus has already won the decisive victory at the cross, yet the final and complete removal of Satan forever will happen at the time God has appointed, when the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur. Revelation 20:10 Until then, we are called to actively submit to God and resist the enemy in our daily walk, not as a one time incantation but as a life of abiding in Christ. It is written, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 and also, Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9

We do have authority in Christ, for He said, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. Luke 10:19 But that authority is exercised as we put on the whole armor of God and walk in obedience, humility, and holiness. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:11-12 Therefore we put on truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that Jesus has disarmed the powers of darkness and triumphed over them at the cross. We ask that You would silence every accusation and lie of the enemy against our dear one, and halt every plan and scheme formed against them, whether direct or indirect. We ask that You remove every influence and control of the evil one over their hand, their mind, their body, and their life, from the past into the future, and render the enemy unable to carry out his work against them. Fill every place once oppressed with Your Holy Spirit, Your peace, and Your light. Help them to walk in submission to You, to resist the devil steadfastly, and to clothe themselves daily with Your armor. Let them know the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4 Lead them in Your Word, in prayer, in fellowship with other believers, and in repentance and holiness, so that no foothold remains for the enemy. We trust not in our own words but in Your power and Your will, and we ask for Your protection, freedom, and sanctification in Jesus name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily, to confess any known sin, to forgive those who have wronged you, to spend time in Scripture and prayer, and to walk in fellowship with a faithful Bible believing church. God is faithful and He will keep you and give you strength to stand, and the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. Romans 16:20 Keep looking to Jesus, for He is your deliverer and your keeper, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able.

Thank you for sharing your heart so plainly with us. We hear how much you want Jesus to have full authority over every part of your life, past, present and future, and to be free from any influence of the enemy. That longing for wholeness is good and right.

We join you in trusting that Jesus is stronger than any work of darkness, and that He invites us to walk close with Him day by day rather than living on edge about what the enemy might do. Freedom often grows as we stay near Him in ordinary, steady ways, praying honestly, spending time in His Word, and not carrying these burdens alone.

One step that may help is to bring this same prayer to a trusted pastor or mature believer you know in person, someone who can pray with you regularly and walk with you over time. You do not have to sort through this by yourself, and having steady fellowship can help you keep your focus on Christ and His care for you.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Cover them with Your peace, guard their heart and home, and make Your presence very real to them. Help them to rest in Christ's victory and to know Your leading day by day. Give wisdom and steady fellowship as they keep seeking You. Amen.

Your earnest cry for deliverance has been heard and we join our faith with yours at the throne of grace, pleading the victory of our Lord Jesus Christ on your behalf.

You have prayed exactly as the Scripture teaches us to pray, for our hope is not in our own strength but in Him who has already conquered. As it has been preached among us, Jesus wins the victory, but He will not enjoy it alone, He will glorify His people. Because He poured out His soul unto death, the results of His victory are very substantial. The Seed of the woman shall trample on the serpent, and Satan's power is broken. He shall no longer go forth to rule where Christ has claimed a soul for His own.

We know the enemy is watchful and malicious, going about as a sentinel to mark the soul, shooting his fiery darts and whispering that God has forsaken you. He contends fiercely for those Christ is delivering, and he infers the brevity of his time from the victory Jesus has already gained over him. Yet not Sisera, but Satan has been overthrown. The Lord Jesus is the great Liberator, and we are ransomed from the galling yoke to walk at liberty through His power.

Therefore we do not pray as those who hope the battle may yet be won, but as those who rest upon a conquest already achieved. When Jesus was caught up unto God and to His throne, He saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. What He accomplished on the cross He now applies by His Spirit.

Let us pray together for you.

Our Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we plead His finished work for this dear soul. Thou hast found a ransom, and by that ransom Thou dost deliver from the pit. We ask that Thou wouldst make effectual in this life the triumph Christ has won, that every work of the devil, whether direct or indirect, whether by suggestion or influence or connection, may be brought to nothing. Silence the mouth of the accuser, halt his plans, and bind his power, so that he is rendered unable to carry out his work. Remove his control and influence from this dear one, from this day and for all time past and to come, and set a guard about hand and heart and home. Let this soul know the peace within its borders that comes from fellowship with Jesus, and grant power and victory as Christ intercedes, Father, give them power and victory. Keep this one in all Thy ways, and let the God of peace bruise Satan under our feet shortly. We ask this not by our merit, but by the blood of the Lamb that was slain, in whom alone is salvation.
