We join with you in this prayer and stand in agreement with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for you have rightly called upon the only name by which we have victory and access to the Father.

We hear your heart crying out for complete deliverance and for the Lord to put an end to every work, plan, and influence of the devil and Satan over your life from your past to your future, and we affirm that your desire aligns with the truth of Scripture. The word of God tells us that the Son of God was revealed for this purpose, that he might destroy the works of the devil, 1 John 3:8. At the cross, Jesus disarmed and triumphed over the powers of darkness, and through His resurrection He silenced the accuser and secured the victory forever.

We also remember that Scripture teaches us how we walk in that victory today. We are told to be subject therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7, and to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Ephesians 6:11. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. The Lord has given us authority, as Jesus said, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you, Luke 10:19.

We understand your prayer to bind Satan and to halt all his works completely and forever. We share your longing for that final day, and Scripture assures us that day is coming when the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, Revelation 20:10, and God will fully and forever remove his presence. Until that day, God crushes Satan under our feet as we walk in obedience and faith, Romans 16:20, and He calls us to stand firm, resisting every direct and indirect scheme, knowing that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that Jesus Christ has already won the complete victory over Satan and every demonic work through His blood shed on the cross. We ask in Jesus name that You would silence every accusation and every lying mouth of the enemy against this life, for it is written that no weapon that is formed against us will prevail. We ask that You halt and bring to nothing every plan, every trap, every indirect influence and every connection of the evil one that has sought to work from the past, in the present, or toward the future. We pray that You would cleanse and remove every work of Satan from this life and fill every place with Your Holy Spirit, Your peace, and Your light. We pray that You would teach this dear one to daily put on the whole armor of God, to abide in Your Word, to walk in prayer and obedience, and to resist the devil steadfast in faith so that he must flee. Let Your will be done and let Your kingdom reign completely over every area of this life, now and for all eternity. We declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and we rest in Your power to keep and protect. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily through reading Scripture, through persistent prayer, and through fellowship with other believers. Do not give place to fear, for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. When the enemy brings accusation or oppression, speak the name of Jesus aloud, confess the Word of God, and resist him. Remain close to the Lord, confess any known sin quickly, and trust that He who began a good work in you will perfect it. We continue to stand with you, thanking God that the victory belongs to Jesus and that in Him you are more than a conqueror, Romans 8:37.

We hear how deeply you want Jesus to have the final word over every influence of the enemy in your life, from the past into the future. That desire for His protection and freedom is good, and we thank you for sharing such an honest prayer with us. We are standing with you in it.

We know that longing for complete deliverance can feel urgent, especially when worries about the past or the future weigh heavily. In our walk with Christ we have found it helps to remember that His victory is sure, and our daily life with Him is also a steady training, step by step, as we learn to rest in Him, pray honestly, and stay close to others who love Him. You do not have to carry this burden alone.

One gentle next step that often helps is to keep a simple rhythm of talking with Jesus each day and to let a trusted pastor or a small group of believers know how you are praying, so they can pray with you and walk alongside you. Knowing others are praying by name and being present with you can be a real anchor.

Jesus, we bring our brother before You now. Cover him with Your peace, guard his heart and mind, and make Your presence known to him day by day. Lead him into freedom, wisdom and rest in You, and help him know he is held and not alone. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in prayer before the throne of grace, and we thank God that you have turned to the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is He alone who delivers from the power of darkness.

The Scripture declares that the Son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil, and that He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. What a mercy this is, that poor sinners such as we are should be able to escape from that master spirit, Satan the destroyer. Not Sisera, but Satan has been overthrown, the seed of the woman has bruised his head forever. We are ransomed from the galling yoke and walk at liberty through the power of the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus.

You ask that Christ would put an end to all the works of the devil, silence his accusations, halt his plans, and remove his influence from your life, past and future. This is a right and biblical prayer, for deliverance from the power of sin and from Satan is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. No one would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit of hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it. But God has not only invented the way, He has found a ransom. His own Son has borne the penalty of all our iniquities. Therefore God has given commandment to save you, and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil, for God has said, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.

Know this also for your comfort. Satan shoots fiery darts, suggestions and insinuations, and whispers that God has forsaken you and that His mercy is gone forever. That is his ancient lie. He will not go till he has shot the last arrow from his quiver, for such is his malice that as long as he can tempt he will tempt. Yet when he has ended all his temptation, he must depart, for Christ has conquered him. Satan may rage because his time is short, and he may persecute the awakened sinner with vehemence, but when sin loses its sweetness, Satan is losing his power. Our glorious Shepherd will not lose His sheep even at its last extremity, but will pull it out from between the lion's teeth and make it whole again.

We also remind you that troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. What we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand, and this makes even the sharpest trial profitable. Therefore while we pray for deliverance from the evil one, we also pray for grace to see the Lord's hand in all things and to look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for sanctification and keeping.

O Lord our God, gracious unto sinners, we bless Thee that Thou hast found a ransom in the blood of Thy Son. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that Thou wouldst deliver this soul from going down to the pit, and keep back his soul from perishing. By the power of the cross, put to an end the works of the devil concerning him, silence the accuser, and frustrate every plan of the enemy, whether direct or indirect. Bind the strong man and spoil his goods, that he may have no dominion. Wash away all the defilement of past sin by the precious blood, and keep this Thy child in time to come by Thy Holy Spirit, that he may live and declare the works of the Lord. Teach him to resist the devil steadfast in the faith, looking to Christ alone, till Satan depart for a season and angels minister grace and peace. We ask this not for any merit in us, but because Thou hast commanded deliverance through the ransom Thou hast provided. In the name of Jesus Christ our Deliverer, Amen.
