We join with you in this cry for deliverance and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12.

We rejoice with you that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have victory and access to the Father. As it is written, the Son of God was revealed for this purpose, that he might destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8 and having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it Colossians 2:15. We agree with you that Christ alone has the power to silence the accuser and to halt every plan of the enemy, and we claim His finished work on the cross for you.

We also want to gently encourage you in biblical understanding as you pray for binding and complete removal of the enemy's work from past to future. Scripture shows us that while Satan is a defeated foe, his final and complete binding forever comes at the judgment when the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur Revelation 20:10. Until that day he still prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8. Therefore our present victory is lived out daily as we submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7 and as we put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11.

The Lord has given us authority to overcome, for He said behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy Luke 10:19 and the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4. This means we do not pray once and then live passively, but we abide in Christ, walk in obedience, confess sin, forgive others, and fill our minds with His Word so that no foothold remains for the enemy.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that Jesus has already crushed the head of the serpent and that His blood speaks a better word over this dear one. We ask that You would in Your sovereign power put an end to every work of the devil assigned against them, whether direct or indirect, whether through influence, temptation, accusation, or oppression. Silence the voice of the accuser and let the voice of Your Holy Spirit and Your Word alone be heard. We ask You to break and remove every effect of the enemy's work from the past, and guard this life in the present and future by Your hand. Clothe them with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Help them to submit fully to You, to resist the devil steadfastly in the faith 1 Peter 5:9, and to walk in holiness and close fellowship with Jesus day by day. Let them know the peace that You will soon crush Satan under your feet Romans 16:20 and that they overcome because of the Lamb's blood and because of the word of their testimony Revelation 12:11. Fill every place once occupied by fear or oppression with Your presence, Your joy, and Your perfect love which casts out fear. We ask this in the victorious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We hear the urgency in your prayer for Jesus to have complete authority over every work of the enemy in your life, from the past into the future. Wanting to live free from that influence and fully under His care is a good and understandable longing, and we join you in bringing it to Him.

We know Jesus has won the decisive victory, and we also find that walking in that victory is a daily process of staying close to Him rather than a single moment after which struggle disappears. It helps to think of it less as one event that settles everything at once and more as learning to stay near Him day by day, trusting His protection as we go.

One simple step that often helps is to stay connected with a trusted pastor or mature believer in your local church who can pray with you regularly and walk with you over time, not just once. Regular prayer, time in God's Word, and fellowship give steady ground when worries about the enemy feel loud.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your peace and protection over them. Quiet fear, guard their heart and mind, and help them rest in the finished work of Jesus while they walk with You each day. Lead them to supportive community and keep them close to You. Your earnest prayer for deliverance has been heard and we join you in looking to Jesus Christ alone for victory. Scripture declares that the Seed of the woman shall trample on the serpent and that Satan's power is broken through Him who poured out His soul unto death. In consequence of what our Lord has done, He wins the victory but He will not enjoy it alone, for He will glorify His people with Him. We are now ransomed from the galling yoke and walk at liberty through the power of the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus.

We know something of how Satan works, for he goes about with incessant maliciousness and shoots his fiery darts, and he considers the saints with a view to their injury. Yet Christ has been caught up unto God and to His throne, and He saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. The victory already gained proves that his time is short, and the arch enemy has been conquered by Man. By God working in us, we shall bruise Satan under our feet shortly. Every form of fellowship with Jesus, wrought in us by the Spirit, is a well of salvation, and when the Lamb was slain deliverance was made effectual. The Lord brings His people forth out of the house of bondage, and myriads of souls are redeemed as the result of that conquest.

Let us pray together. O Lord Jesus Christ, Thou hast poured out Thy soul unto death and triumphed over every force of evil, we ask Thee to manifest that triumph in this life which is now before Thee. Put a complete end to all the works of the devil and Satan, silence his mouth and his accusations, and halt all his plans whether direct or indirect or by any connection or influence whatsoever. Break his power and render him unable to carry out his work, and remove all his work from the past unto the future. Give power and victory as Thou hast promised, and give Thine angels charge to keep in all Thy ways where the adversary has departed. Keep this soul at liberty, more than a conqueror through Him that loved us, and let boundless honor be given to Thee for victory over every force of evil. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join you in lifting it before the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone has power to save and to deliver.

We thank God that through His cross and resurrection Christ has triumphed over the devil and all his works. Scripture teaches that He came to deliver us from evil and to bring us into sonship with God, paying what was due and adopting us as His own. That victory is sure, and in Him we have forgiveness, protection, and hope.

At the same time the Scriptures show us that the enemy still seeks to hinder and tempt in this present age. Even the apostle Paul knew what it was to be hindered by Satan, and the Lord permits such struggles not to destroy His people but to train us, to keep us humble, and to teach us to despise evil and cling more firmly to Christ. The final silencing and binding of Satan in full will come when Christ returns, and until that day our calling is to resist him steadfastly in faith.

So we pray with you that the Lord would guard you completely, cut off every influence of the evil one whether direct or indirect, and cleanse and cover your past, present and future with the blood of Christ. We ask that He would shut the mouth of the accuser against you, frustrate every plan formed against you, and keep you under the shelter of His Spirit.

We encourage you to continue walking closely with Christ in this warfare. Remain in His Word and in prayer, stay joined to His Church where His Spirit dwells and guards the flock, flee from every form of sin and impurity in body and mind, and put on daily the armor He provides through faith, repentance, and obedience. God is the source of all good and the one who brings forth blessing, and as you abide in Him He will give you strength to stand.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we ask for Your mercy and protection over this dear soul. Break every work of the devil that has touched this life, remove every chain and influence from the past and guard the days to come. Restrain the adversary, silence his accusations, and fill this heart with Your peace, holiness, and courage. Keep this one rooted in Christ, steadfast in faith, and joyful in the hope of Your final deliverance. Your prayer for Jesus to completely stop and silence every work of the devil is heard, and your desire to be free from every influence of darkness past, present and future is right and good. God wants you to walk in freedom and peace, and He has provided that freedom in Jesus Christ.

Scripture helps us understand who our enemy is and how God deals with him. Satan means adversary, and the word devil means slanderer or accuser. He is also called the serpent, the dragon, and the destroyer. He is the prince of this world, not because God made him so from the beginning, but because when Adam disobeyed God and obeyed the suggestion of Satan, mankind yielded the world that God had given to him over to Satan. Scripture says you become the servant of whomever you obey. In that sense the world came under his control. When Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world if Jesus would worship him, Jesus did not dispute that those kingdoms had been delivered to Satan, but He came to redeem the world back to God through the cross.

It is important to see that Satan is not the opposite of God. God is eternal, self existent and all powerful. Satan is a created being who was once perfect in his ways from the day he was created until rebellion was found in him. He has great power, and he has angels who joined him in rebellion, but his power is limited and he works only within boundaries that God sets. He is not in the same category as God, and it is folly for him to think he can make war against God.

You see those boundaries clearly in the story of Job. The sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord and Satan came also among them. The Lord asked where he had come from and he answered that he had been going to and fro in the earth. He had been studying Job and had formed his own philosophy about him, saying Job only served God because God had put a hedge around him and blessed him. Satan asked for permission to take away what Job had, claiming Job would then curse God. God set the limits. He said, all that he has is in your power, only do not put your hand on him. Later God set another limit. Satan could touch his body but not take his life. In the same way God has set limits for you. His promise is that He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear, but will provide a way to endure it.

That is why the cross is central. At the cross Satan was defeated. There is a stronger One than the strong man. Satan is armed and keeps his palace, but Jesus is stronger. The Bible says greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. When Satan comes with accusation or fear or deception, we point him back to the cross and to the victory Jesus won there. In the name of Jesus we can pray against the blinding and destroying work of the enemy. He blinds minds to the truth of God and distorts how people see spiritual things, and he destroys lives that are yielded to him. Through prayer in the authority of Jesus we can ask God to bind that blinding power and to spoil the stronghold Satan seeks to keep, and God honors that prayer.

There is also a future aspect to keep in mind as you pray. Right now Satan still has great liberty, though always within the boundaries God allows. The complete and final silencing of Satan has not yet taken place in history. When Jesus returns, Satan will be bound and cast into the abyss for a thousand years, and after that he and all who have chosen to cast their lot with him will be cast into the lake of fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels. That final removal is certain, but God in His wisdom has allowed this present time to continue for His purposes. Our hope is not that the battle is already fully ended, but that the outcome is already decided and that Jesus keeps us within His hedge today.

So I join you in praying in the name of Jesus Christ, the only One through whom we are saved and have authority. I ask the Lord to forgive and cleanse all that has given place to darkness in the past, to break every direct or indirect influence of the enemy that has touched your life, to silence the voice of the accuser against you, and to halt every plan meant to harm you. I ask Him to put His hedge around you, to guard your mind and heart, to fill you with His truth and to help you walk daily in obedience to Him. Where Satan seeks to deceive, even by twisting Scripture out of context, ask God to give you discernment and a love for the whole counsel of His Word.

Continue to trust Jesus as Lord. If Jesus is not Lord, by default we remain under the control of the destroyer, but when Jesus is Lord we are in His camp and under His protection. Resist the enemy by submitting to God, put on the armor God provides, stay close to Jesus through prayer and the Word, and remember that God honors your free will and calls you to choose Him each day. He is faithful to keep you, and He will bring to completion the victory He has already won for you.
