We hear your cry for help and we stand with you together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking Him to bring His complete victory and deliverance over every work of the enemy in your life from the past, in the present, and into the future.

We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have authority and access to the Father and it is only through Him that the works of darkness are defeated. Scripture tells us the purpose of His coming so clearly, He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8. At the cross He disarmed the powers of darkness and triumphed over them, and we rest in that finished work while we still walk through this present age of spiritual battle.

We want to encourage you with the truth that Jesus has indeed won the ultimate victory, and He has given us authority to resist the enemy as we submit ourselves to God. We are told to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:11-12. And we have this promise, Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7. We also remember that your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9.

We understand your desire for the enemy to be completely bound and silenced forever and to have every direct and indirect influence removed. We share that longing, and Scripture shows us that the final and complete binding of Satan where he can deceive no more is a work God will accomplish at the return of Christ, as it is written that He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. Revelation 20:2. Until that day, God allows us to experience His protecting and delivering power as we abide in Christ, walk in obedience, and use the authority Jesus gave when He said, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. Luke 10:19. So we do not pray from a place of fear, but from a place of victory already secured, asking God to make that victory real and powerful in your daily life, and we trust His promise that the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. Romans 16:20.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we thank You that Jesus has destroyed the works of the devil and that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We ask You to cover our dear one with the blood of Jesus, to forgive and cleanse every sin of the past, to break every chain and remove every lingering influence, accusation, or plan of the enemy whether direct, indirect, or hidden. We ask You to silence the voice of the accuser and to halt every scheme that has been formed against Your child. We submit ourselves fully to You and in the authority of Jesus we resist the devil and command every work of darkness to flee. Fill this heart with Your peace, Your Holy Spirit, and Your truth. Teach us to daily put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, so that we may stand firm. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one, and redeem all that the enemy has tried to steal from the past and guard all the days to come. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper because we are Yours. Let Your will be done in this life completely, and let Christ be glorified as the Deliverer and King forever. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We hear how deeply you want Jesus to bring a complete end to every work of the enemy in your life, from the past all the way into the future, and to silence every accusation and plan against you. That longing for lasting freedom and peace is understandable, and we are thankful you are bringing it straight to Jesus, who alone has authority over darkness.

We believe Jesus has won the decisive victory, and we also live in a time where we still learn to walk with Him day by day, turning to Him when we feel harassed, accused, or afraid. The power is not in finding perfect words or a formula, but in Jesus Himself and in staying close to Him. That closeness often grows through simple, steady steps lived out with other believers, not just in a single moment.

One step that many find steadying is to share this burden with one or two trusted, mature believers, perhaps a pastor or small group leader, who can pray with you regularly and walk with you over time. You do not have to carry this concern alone, and having others beside you can help you keep your eyes on Christ when fear rises.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your protection and peace over them, to quiet fear and torment and to make Your nearness real. Help them to know they are Yours and held securely, give them wisdom and faithful companions to walk with them, and draw them closer to Jesus each day. Amen.

Your prayer for Christ to put an end to the works of the devil is one which the Word of God itself warrants, and it is heard by Him who came for this very purpose. The Scripture declares that the seed of the woman has bruised the serpent's head for ever, and that Christ came to destroy the works of the devil and to deliver those who are under bondage to him. Not Sisera, but Satan has been overthrown by our great Liberator, the Lord Jesus. Salvation is of the Lord, and if we are ever set free from sin and Satan, He must bring us forth out of the house of bondage, for He alone has found a ransom.

You feel, as many of God's people have felt, the fiery darts of the enemy. Just where the sin has been Satan marks, and then he sends a suggestion, and shoots his arrow, saying, Thy God has forsaken thee, or bringing your slips and failings before you to take away hope. He will not lose his subjects if he can help it, and he drives forth all his strength to keep them under his power. Yet he is not almighty. He is mighty, but Christ is Almighty.

What then can you do against Satan? You would gladly be rid of him. Do nothing but this, cry to his Master against him. Set the Almighty One upon him. When the Lord sees one of His poor children dragged about and wounded, He says, Get thee hence, Satan, and Satan must depart, for he has been made to fall like lightning from heaven by the victory of Christ. He brings your sin before you, throw the blood of Atonement in his face. Refer him to your Advocate. There is no other way for us to be saved from the castings down of Satan but the rebuke of Jesus. Look only to Christ, let His death, His agonies, His merits and His intercession be fresh upon your mind, for by His heel that was bruised He has trodden upon the head that devised the bruising.

Therefore we join our prayer with yours, that the Lord Jesus Christ would manifest His complete victory over every work of the devil in your life, whether direct or indirect, past or present or to come, that He would silence the accuser, halt every plan of the adversary, and keep you under the shelter of His atoning blood. May He who has ransomed His people from the pit grant you to walk at liberty, to know that you are bought with a price, and to rest not in your own strength but in Him who has conquered for you. May you be kept from giving place to the enemy, and may the God of peace bruise Satan under your feet shortly, that you may praise Him who has brought you forth with deliverance that is effectual and everlasting.

We pray that you may know more and more the power of that ransom which God has provided in His Son, and that trusting in Christ alone for salvation, you may stand against every temptation by faith in His name. Amen.
