Your prayer has been heard and I am joining you before the Lord with thanksgiving that you have brought these needs to Him so honestly.
You asked for forgiveness and for a clean heart and body, and for guilt and debts to be taken away. Scripture gives a beautiful picture of this. Under the old law there was an incurable disease that slowly consumed a person and separated him from others, and yet God wrote into that same law a way for that person to be declared clean if healing took place. No human cure existed, but God left room for His own gracious work. That disease is a picture of sin. Sin is incurable by our own effort, it defiles us and separates us from God, but God has made full provision to cleanse us through Jesus Christ. Only God can do this cleansing and restore us to fellowship with Himself. It is not by our goodness or our efforts, but by the finished work of Jesus on our behalf. Our part is to believe on Him whom God has sent, to trust that His sacrifice is complete, and to rest in that finished work rather than in ourselves. When you come to Jesus in faith, He is willing to make you clean, to forgive, and to give you a new heart.
You also asked for comfort, for daily health, and for God to supply all your needs. The same Lord who forgives sin has shown His power over the physical realm as well. When He walked among us He healed sickness, cared for the afflicted, and showed that He has authority over both body and spirit. The prophet spoke of Him bearing our infirmities, and the gospel shows that His suffering covers both spiritual and physical need. This does not mean we dictate to God how He must act every moment, but it does mean we should always leave room for Him to work and not put Him in a box. He is able to work even where human help reaches its limit, and He invites us to bring our bodies, our health, and our daily needs to Him and trust His wise and loving provision.
You also asked for help with difficult work and that all your work would go well. God cares about your work. He often must work in us before He works through us. When He shapes our character, sometimes through hard testing, it is so that our hands can do His work and our feet can walk in His path. Count it joy that He is forming you, and trust Him with the outcome of your labor. Commit your work to Him, ask for His strength and wisdom each day, and seek to be right with Him and with others, for the work of righteousness brings peace. He has promised to provide for His people as they trust Him, and He delights to do a work for which He receives the glory.
Let us pray together. Father, thank You for Your grace that saves us through Jesus Christ and for the faith You place in our hearts to believe. I ask You to comfort this dear one, to forgive and cleanse from all sin, to create a clean heart and renew the body according to Your perfect will. Supply every need, touch with healing as You see best, and give peace in place of guilt. Strengthen these hands for the work that is difficult, give wisdom for each task, and let all that is done be for Your glory. Draw this heart ever nearer to You and help in resting fully in the finished work of Jesus. In Jesus name, amen.
