We join with you in agreement in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we echo your cry for His complete victory over every work of the devil and Satan in your life.

We rejoice that what you are praying for is grounded in the truth of Scripture, for it is written, He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8. We thank God that through His death and resurrection Jesus has already disarmed the rulers and authorities and triumphed over them, Colossians 2:15, and that the accuser has been overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony, Revelation 12:11.

We also want to encourage you with the full counsel of God concerning the enemy. While Christ has secured the ultimate victory, Scripture teaches that Satan still prowls as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, 1 Peter 5:8, until the final day when he will be cast forever into the lake of fire, Revelation 20:10. For now God has given us authority to resist him and to stand firm in the victory Christ has won. Therefore the promise is, Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7, and, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you, Luke 10:19. We are called to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Ephesians 6:11, knowing that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or have access to You, Acts 4:12, John 14:6. We thank You that Jesus Christ has come to destroy the works of the devil and we ask in His name that You would put an end to every direct and indirect work, plan, scheme, influence and connection of Satan and his forces against our dear one. We ask that You silence the mouth of the accuser and liar, for he is the father of lies, John 8:44, and let only Your voice of truth and love be heard. We pray that every plan of the enemy be halted, exposed and rendered powerless, and that You render him unable to carry out his work, as we submit ourselves to You and resist him in faith. We ask that You guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus, fill this life with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7, and let Your Holy Spirit lead into all truth and freedom, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty, 2 Corinthians 3:17. We trust in Your promise that the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet, Romans 16:20, and we claim the covering of the blood of Jesus over every area of life. Strengthen faith to stand firm, to be sober and watchful, 1 Peter 5:8-9, and to walk in the authority Christ has given. Let Your will be done and let Christ be glorified as the complete and final victor. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We hear how earnestly you are asking Jesus to stop every work and plan of the enemy and to keep you under His authority. That desire for His protection and peace is good, and we join you in bringing it to Him.

Something we have found helpful is remembering that spiritual opposition is real, and Christ's power is greater, without letting the focus stay on the enemy itself. When we stay overly focused on what the enemy might be doing, it can leave us anxious and tired. Resting more on staying close to Jesus in daily life often brings more steady peace.

It can help to think of growth here like training rather than a single event. Small, regular steps of prayer, time in Scripture, and fellowship with other believers build strength over time. You do not have to walk this out alone either. If you have a pastor or a few trusted believers you can meet with regularly and pray with in person, we encourage you to invite them in so they can support you and know how you are doing.

Father, we lift them to You in Jesus' name. Please guard their heart and mind, quiet fear and confusion, and draw them close to You each day. Give them wisdom, steady community, and confidence in Your care. Amen.

We have heard your earnest cry and we join you before the throne of grace, pleading the victory which our Lord Jesus Christ has already won.

You ask that Jesus Christ would put an end to all the works of the devil, silence his mouth, halt his plans, and bind him so that he cannot carry out his work, and that every action of the evil one, whether direct or indirect or by any influence whatsoever, would be brought to a stop. This is a prayer agreeable to the Word of God, for the Scripture declares that the Seed of the woman shall bruise the serpent's head, and that through His death our Lord has broken Satan's power.

Know this, that Christ has poured out His soul unto death and therefore He has won the victory, and the victory is glorious. Satan's power is broken. He is not yet destroyed, for he still goes about as a roaring lion, shooting his fiery darts and seeking whom he may devour, but his time is short because Jesus has been caught up unto God and to His throne. Not Sisera, but Satan has been overthrown, and we are ransomed from the galling yoke through the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus. The arch enemy has been conquered by Man, and by God working in us we shall bruise Satan under our feet shortly.

Therefore we pray with you, and for you, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour:

O Lord Jesus Christ, Thou who hast triumphed over sin and death and hell, put Thou a stop to all the works of the devil in this life. Silence the mouth of the adversary who accuses and tempts, and halt every plan he has formed. Bind the strong man, restrain his malice, and render him unable to carry out his designs, whether by direct assault or by indirect suggestion or by any connection or influence. Let Thy power keep this soul in all Thy ways, and let Thy victory be made manifest. As Thou didst see Satan fall like lightning from heaven, so now cast down his influence and give deliverance. We plead Thy finished work, Thy blood, Thy intercession at the Father's right hand, for when Thou dost ask, Father, give them power and victory, it must be done.

Take comfort, for you are more than a conqueror through Him that loved you. What Christ the Head has won, every member of His mystical body shares. The battle is the Lord's, and the results of His victory will be very substantial in your life as you abide in Him, watch unto prayer, and resist the devil steadfast in the faith. He must flee from you.

May the Lord bring you forth out of every house of bondage, keep you from the fiery darts, and fill you with songs of deliverance, till the final victory when every force of evil shall give honor to Christ forever. In Jesus's name, amen.
