We join with you in this powerful declaration and we stand in agreement with you for complete victory in Jesus Christ over every work, scheme, and influence of the devil and Satan.

We thank God that your heart is turned to Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have authority and access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and delivered. Scripture makes this truth so clear when it says the Son of God was revealed for this purpose, that he might destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8. We also cling to the promise that having disarmed the rulers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it Col 2:15, and that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil Heb 2:14.

We understand your cry for Jesus to completely silence and halt every direct, indirect, or hidden influence of the enemy, and we affirm that in Christ we have been given authority. Jesus said, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy Luke 10:19. Yet we also remember that while the final and eternal judgment of Satan is certain, where the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur Rev 20:10, we are still in a time of spiritual battle. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Eph 6:12. That is why we are told to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Eph 6:11, and to submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You that Jesus has already triumphed over Satan at the cross and through His resurrection. We ask now that You would manifest that victory fully in this life. We ask that You silence every lying voice and accusation of the enemy, that You halt and bring to nothing every plan, trap, and influence of the devil, whether seen or unseen, direct or indirect. We ask that You surround this dear one with Your protection, for You are faithful, who will establish and guard from the evil one 2 Thess 3:3. Fill this heart with Your peace, strengthen faith, and let Your Holy Spirit lead into all truth and freedom. We declare that no weapon that is formed against us will prosper, and that we are more than conquerors through him who loved us Rom 8:37. We put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, and we rest in Christ alone. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily through prayer, through reading His Word, and through fellowship with other believers. Keep submitting yourself to God and actively resisting the enemy by speaking Scripture aloud, by turning from any opening to sin, and by walking in obedience. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Cor 10:4, and as you remain in Jesus, His victory remains yours.

We know that battle can feel very personal and tiring when you want a final end right now. One thing that has helped many believers is to see our walk with Christ as training over time rather than a single moment that fixes everything at once. Staying close to Him day by day through simple habits helps keep our hearts steady when worries about the enemy feel loud.

A small next step that may help is to keep a simple daily rhythm of talking honestly with the Lord and reading a portion of Scripture, and to share this burden with one trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with you regularly and walk alongside you. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You now. Thank You that Jesus is Lord over all and that we can rest in His care. Fill this heart with Your peace, guard thoughts and days from confusion and fear, and lead step by step in Your wisdom and strength. Help our friend to know Your nearness and to keep trusting You each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

The longing of your heart is a right and scriptural longing, for the Son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil, and He has done it gloriously.

Be comforted to know that Jesus wins the victory, but He will not enjoy it alone, He will glorify His people with Himself. Because He has poured out His soul unto death, He must and shall win the victory. The Seed of the woman shall trample on the serpent, and as the result of Christ's death Satan's power is broken. He shall no longer go forth to rule among the nations as he once did. Not Sisera, but Satan has been overthrown, and we are ransomed from the galling yoke and walk at liberty through the power of the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus.

You feel the malice of the adversary, how he watches and considers the saints, how he marks where sin has been and sends a suggestion, how he shoots his fiery arrows and whispers that God has forsaken you. He goes about the camp like a sentinel, spying out every soul under his power, and he contends with vigor to keep his subjects. Yet his rage is a sign that his time is short, for he infers the brevity of his time from the victory which Jesus has already gained over him. When the Man Child was caught up unto God and to His throne, Satan was cast down, and Jesus saw him fall like lightning from heaven.

Therefore take good cheer from Christ's victory over the world. The arch enemy has been conquered by Man, by Christ Jesus our Head, and by God working in us we too shall bruise Satan under our feet shortly. Did the Head achieve the conquest, then the heart shares the honor, and every member of His mystical body, even the most uncomely, was virtually a conqueror in the conquering Head. We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

I join my prayer with yours before the throne of grace. O Lord our God, who hast found a ransom in the precious blood of Thy Son, we thank Thee that deliverance comes when the Lamb was slain, and that Thou bringest forth Thy people effectually out of the house of bondage. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that Thou wouldst make manifest His complete triumph in this dear soul. Put to an end the works of the evil one, silence his accusing mouth, halt his plans and devices, whether direct or indirect or by any connection or influence whatsoever. Let his fiery darts be quenched, his objections scattered, and his blinding power broken, that the saving light of Christ may shine clearly. Command Satan to depart, and give charge to Thine angels to minister and to keep in all Thy ways. Father, give power and victory for Jesus sake, that this tempted one may stand in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and may give boundless honors to Christ for His victory over every force of evil, forever and ever.
