We stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word, declaring with boldness that Jesus Christ has indeed triumphed over the devil and all his works. The Scriptures declare, "The reason the Son of God was revealed was to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8 WEB). Through His death and resurrection, Jesus disarmed the powers of darkness, making a public spectacle of them and triumphing over them (Colossians 2:15 WEB). We rejoice in this victory, for it is complete and eternal.
Yet, we must also recognize that while Satan’s defeat is certain, he still prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). His influence remains in this fallen world, and his schemes are real. But we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Therefore, we must stand firm in the armor of God, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and praying at all times in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:13-18 WEB).
We rebuke every lie of the enemy that suggests his power is equal to or greater than the power of Christ. The devil is a defeated foe, and his destiny is the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We take authority over every scheme of the enemy, binding his plans and loosing the peace, power, and presence of God in every situation.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We thank You for the victory You have already won over the devil and all his works. We declare that Satan is a defeated enemy, and his power is broken in the name of Jesus. Lord, we ask You to silence every lying voice of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We rebuke every plan, scheme, and attack of the devil in our lives, our families, our churches, and our nations. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment is condemned.
Father, we put on the full armor of God, that we may stand against the wiles of the devil. We gird ourselves with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. We take up the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. We pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, watching thereunto with all perseverance.
Lord, we ask You to expose every hidden work of darkness and bring it to light. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church. We bind every spirit of fear, doubt, confusion, and deception, and we loose the spirit of wisdom, revelation, power, and love in our lives. We declare that we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us (Romans 8:37 WEB).
Father, we ask You to strengthen us in our inner man, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. We pray that we may be rooted and grounded in love, and that we may know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that we may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We declare that the works of the devil are destroyed, his mouth is silenced, and his plans are halted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We walk in victory, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in this truth. Do not be ignorant of the devil’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11 WEB), but do not fear him either. Resist him, steadfast in the faith (1 Peter 5:9 WEB), and he will flee from you. Walk in the light of God’s Word, and let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. The victory is already yours in Jesus Christ.
