We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your acknowledgment of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is only through His precious name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are forgiven and made whole. We rejoice in the truth that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Your faith in Jesus’ forgiveness is a beautiful testimony of His grace at work in your life.
Father God, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would indeed bless them abundantly. Guide their steps as they seek Your will for their future. We pray that You would make their path clear, lighting their way with Your Word, for "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105 WEB). May they walk in the center of Your will, trusting in Your perfect plan for their life, knowing that "the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations" (Psalm 33:11 WEB).
Lord, we also ask that You would assist them in their work. Whether it is in their vocation, ministry, or daily responsibilities, grant them wisdom, strength, and favor. May they work as unto You, not for the approval of man, but with a heart that seeks to honor You in all things. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Provide for their needs, open doors of opportunity, and surround them with godly counsel and encouragement.
We also want to gently encourage this beloved one to continue seeking the Lord with all their heart. As they walk with You, Jesus, may they grow in intimacy with You, spending time in Your Word and in prayer. Let Your Holy Spirit lead them into all truth, convicting them of righteousness and guiding them in every decision. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Father, we also pray for discernment in their relationships. If they are seeking a spouse, we ask that You would bring a godly man or woman into their life—someone who loves You above all else and is committed to walking in Your ways. May their courtship be pure and honorable, with the goal of marriage as You designed it: a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). Guard their heart from any relationships that do not align with Your Word, and help them to flee from sexual immorality, for "flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or doubt that may try to creep into their mind. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We declare that this dear one is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Strengthen them in their faith, and let them walk in the victory that is already theirs in Christ.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). May they continue to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and forever. Amen.
