We hear your heartfelt cry for help and are moved to come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your needs in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your acknowledgment of the Lord Jesus as the one who forgives sins, blesses, and guides is a beautiful foundation, for it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). We rejoice that you have placed your trust in Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Father God, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, seeking Your divine intervention in [this brother/sister’s] life. Lord Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6 WEB), and we ask that You would indeed forgive every sin, cleanse every stain, and wash [him/her] white as snow. We thank You for Your grace that covers all transgressions, for "as far as the east is from the west, so far have You removed our transgressions from us" (Psalm 103:12 WEB).
We pray for Your blessings to overflow in [his/her] life, Lord. May Your favor rest upon [him/her] like a shield, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard [his/her] heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Guide [his/her] path, O Lord, for You have promised, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you" (Psalm 32:8 WEB). We ask that You illuminate the steps ahead, that [he/she] may walk in the center of Your will, trusting in You with all [his/her] heart and leaning not on [his/her] own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Heavenly Father, we lift up [his/her] work and the difficulties [he/she] is facing. You are the God who provides, and we ask that You would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8 WEB). Grant [him/her] wisdom, discernment, and creativity to overcome every challenge. May [he/she] find strength in You, for "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13 WEB). If there are areas where [he/she] has relied on [his/her] own strength or sought solutions outside of Your will, we ask that You would convict [his/her] heart and draw [him/her] back to complete dependence on You.
Lord, we also pray for [his/her] future path. Whether You are calling [him/her] to a new season of work, ministry, or personal growth, we ask that You would make it clear. Give [him/her] the courage to step out in faith, knowing that You go before [him/her] and will never leave nor forsake [him/her] (Deuteronomy 31:8 WEB). If there are fears or doubts holding [him/her] back, we rebuke them in the name of Jesus and declare that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18 WEB).
We also want to gently encourage [him/her] to examine [his/her] life for any areas that may not align with Your Word, Lord. If there are habits, relationships, or choices that are not pleasing to You, we ask that You would bring them to light and grant [him/her] the strength to turn away from them. Your Word says, "Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us" (Hebrews 12:1 WEB). Help [him/her] to walk in holiness and purity, for You are holy (1 Peter 1:16 WEB).
Lastly, we pray that You would surround [him/her] with godly counsel and fellowship. Let [him/her] be encouraged by the body of Christ, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17 WEB). May [he/she] find strength and accountability in the company of believers who will spur [him/her] on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24 WEB).
In all these things, we declare that You are faithful, Lord, and that Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20 WEB). We trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). May [this brother/sister] experience Your peace, provision, and presence in every area of [his/her] life. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
