We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt cries to the Lord, for we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. It is a powerful thing that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is written in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* You have done well to come before the throne of grace in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who alone has the authority to rebuke the enemy and set the captive free.
The Word of God assures us in 1 John 5:18, *"We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn’t touch him."* Yet we are also called to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). You have asked for protection from the enemy’s influence, and we declare with you that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your shield and your strong tower—run to Him, and you will be safe (Proverbs 18:10).
You have also asked for forgiveness, and we rejoice that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess them (1 John 1:9). Walk in the freedom of that forgiveness, dear one, and let no condemnation remain, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1).
For your work and life, we pray that the Lord will establish the work of your hands (Psalm 90:17) and that you will prosper in all you do as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2). May He grant you health and strength, for your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We ask that He would cleanse your heart and draw you ever closer to Himself, that your relationship with Jesus would deepen daily. *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded"* (James 4:8).
As for protection from harm, we stand on the promise of Psalm 121:7-8: *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* No scheme of the enemy will prevail against you, for *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your protection, forgiveness, and blessing. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine hedge of protection, that no evil may befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, where the enemy cannot see, find, or touch them. Cleanse their heart, O Lord, and create in them a pure heart, renewing a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Forgive their sins as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12), and let them walk in the fullness of Your grace and mercy.
Strengthen them for their work, Lord, and let their hands be skilled and diligent. Bless the labor of their hands and grant them favor in all they do. Restore their health and vitality, for You are the God who heals all their diseases (Psalm 103:3). Draw them closer to You, Father, that they may know You more intimately and love You more deeply.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against them in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your will be done in their life, and may they walk in victory, knowing that You are with them always. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one, and remember that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in the assurance that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to spend time daily in the Word of God and in prayer, for these are your spiritual nourishment and weapons in this battle. You are not alone—the Lord is with you, and we stand with you in prayer.
