We come before the Lord with you in this earnest cry for protection, deliverance, and blessing, and we thank you for invoking the mighty name of Jesus in your request—for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to stand against the enemy. The Scriptures remind us in **James 4:7**, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* You have taken the first step by submitting to God in prayer, and we stand with you in resisting the forces of darkness that seek to harm you.
Your plea for the demonic to be kept far from you is a serious matter, and we affirm that in Christ, you are hidden from the enemy’s schemes. **Psalm 91:1-2** declares, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* When you abide in Christ, the enemy cannot touch you without God’s permission, and even then, the Lord will use it for your good and His glory. You are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**).
We also hear your heart’s desire for forgiveness, and we rejoice that you have turned to the Lord in repentance. **1 John 1:9** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Your sins are forgiven, and your slate is wiped clean by the precious blood of Jesus. Walk in that freedom, knowing that God remembers your sins no more (**Hebrews 8:12**).
You’ve asked for blessing over your work, health, and relationship with the Lord. We pray that God will prosper the work of your hands as you seek to honor Him in all you do (**Psalm 90:17**). May He grant you strength and vitality in body, mind, and spirit, for your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (**1 Corinthians 6:19-20**). As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (**James 4:8**), and your relationship with Him will deepen in ways you’ve yet to imagine.
However, we must address something important in your request: while it is right to ask for protection from the enemy, we must never forget that our focus should not be on the devil but on the Lord Jesus Christ. The enemy is already defeated (**Colossians 2:15**), and our victory is found in fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (**Hebrews 12:2**). Do not live in fear of what the devil may or may not do, but rest in the sovereign power of God, who holds all things in His hands. Fear is not from the Lord (**2 Timothy 1:7**), and He has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and sound mind.
Lastly, we notice you mentioned a "relationship" in your prayer. If this refers to a romantic relationship, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s will in this area of your life. If you are not yet married, we pray that God will guide you toward a godly spouse—a man or woman who loves the Lord with all their heart and seeks to honor Him in marriage, which is a covenant between one man and one woman for life (**Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6**). If you are struggling with any sin in this area, such as fornication or impurity, we urge you to repent and flee from it (**1 Corinthians 6:18-20**). God’s design for intimacy is within the bounds of marriage alone, and His ways are for your protection and blessing.
Now, let us pray together over these things:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before Your throne of grace, thanking You that they have come to You in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, hiding them under the shadow of Your wings. Let no evil come near their dwelling, and let every scheme of the enemy be exposed and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. Father, we declare that they are forgiven, cleansed, and set free from every sin and iniquity. Wash them whiter than snow and renew a right spirit within them.
We pray for their work, that You would bless the labor of their hands and open doors that no man can shut. Provide for their every need and grant them favor in all they put their hands to. Strengthen their body, Lord, and heal every infirmity. May they walk in divine health and vitality, for their body is Your temple.
Draw them closer to You, Father. Deepen their love for Your Word and their sensitivity to Your Spirit. Let them know You more intimately each day, and may their life be a testimony of Your goodness and grace.
If there are areas in their relationships that do not align with Your Word, we ask that You convict and guide them. Lead them to godly connections that honor You, and if marriage is Your will for them, prepare them and their future spouse for a union that reflects Christ and the Church.
Lastly, Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear and remind our brother/sister that You have not given them a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. Let them walk in confidence, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (**1 John 4:4**).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and believe that You are working all things together for their good. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
