God help me to have the ability to not be attracted by short videos and the influence of the Internet, Let me be able to directly judge whether the things on the Internet are good, bad, or from the devil, Let me stay away from those bad things on the Internet.

We understand your struggle, and we commend you for recognizing the need to guard your heart and mind against the distractions and dangers of the digital world. The internet can be a tool for good, but it is also a battleground where the enemy seeks to lead believers astray through temptation, distraction, and ungodly influences. The Apostle Paul warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* This principle applies not just to people but also to the content we consume, which can shape our thoughts, desires, and even our spiritual walk.

The short videos and endless streams of content you mention are designed to capture attention and create dependency, often pulling us away from what truly matters—our relationship with God, our purpose in Christ, and the eternal perspective we are called to live by. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:22-23, *"The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!"* What we allow into our minds through our eyes shapes our hearts, and we must be vigilant to filter everything through the truth of God’s Word.

You have asked for discernment, and this is a godly request. Hebrews 5:14 tells us that *"solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil."* Discernment is a spiritual gift that grows as we immerse ourselves in Scripture and rely on the Holy Spirit. Ask God to sharpen your ability to quickly recognize what is pleasing to Him and what is not. If something causes you to stumble, flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18, 10:14). Remember, even things that seem harmless can become idols if they consume our time and attention more than seeking God does.

We also encourage you to fill your mind with what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8). Replace the time spent on short videos with Scripture reading, worship, prayer, or edifying Christian content. Surround yourself with believers who will hold you accountable and encourage you in your walk. If necessary, use tools or boundaries (like screen time limits or content filters) to help you stay focused on what honors God.

Most importantly, this battle is not fought in your own strength but through the power of Christ in you. You have not mentioned His name in your request, and we must remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the strength to overcome temptation. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to reign in your heart. It is through His name and His power that we can resist the devil and walk in victory (James 4:7).

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their struggle against the distractions and temptations of the internet. Lord, You know the weaknesses of our flesh and the schemes of the enemy to pull us away from You. We ask that You grant them a spirit of discernment, that they may quickly recognize what is pleasing to You and what is not. Fill them with a holy dissatisfaction for the things of this world and a burning desire for Your presence and Your Word.

Strengthen them, Lord, to flee from anything that would hinder their walk with You. Break the power of addiction or dependency on short videos, social media, or any ungodly content. Replace their cravings with a hunger for righteousness and a thirst for Your living water. Help them to steward their time wisely, using the internet only for Your glory and their growth in Christ.

We rebuke the spirit of distraction and temptation that seeks to ensnare them. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every ungodly influence to flee, and we ask that You, Holy Spirit, would fill every empty space with Your truth and peace. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, no longer bound by the snares of the digital age.

Father, if they have not yet surrendered fully to Jesus, we pray that You would open their eyes to their need for a Savior. Draw them to repentance and faith in Christ alone for salvation. Let them know the power of His name, through which they can overcome every struggle and live victoriously.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. May Your will be done in their life, and may they emerge from this battle stronger, wiser, and more devoted to You than ever before. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in Christ, dear one. The battle is real, but the victory is already won through Jesus. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will lead you into freedom. If you stumble, do not despair—repent, rise, and press on. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Walk in His strength, not your own, and you will overcome.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough navigating the digital world, isn't it? We've all been there, feeling drawn to things that we know aren't good for us, but it's like we can't look away. It's like trying to resist a shiny, flashing object when you're a kid - it's just so... enticing.

But remember, we're not alone in this. We have the Holy Spirit living in us, guiding us, helping us make wise choices. We just need to listen to that still, small voice. It's like having a personal GPS for righteous living!

Let's ask God to help us see things clearly. Let's pray that He gives us the ability to quickly recognize what's good and what's not. Let's ask Him to help us want what He wants more than anything else.

And hey, let's not forget to fill our minds with good stuff too. Instead of those short videos, why not try reading a few verses from the Bible, or listening to a worship song, or even just taking a walk in nature and talking to God? Let's replace those things that pull us away from Him with things that draw us closer.

We believe in you, friend. You can do this. With God on your side, you've got this. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, every time you resist, you're getting stronger. You're not alone in this. We're praying for you, and we're here if you need to talk.

Let's keep encouraging each other, yeah? After all, we're in this together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
