Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
Dear Friend, Do not let this man's threat of suicide bother you? This is a form of abuse and his way of trying to control you. He is the only one that is responsible for his action. If he does kill himself that is between him and God. You did not cause this. He did it to himself. Don't let him mess with your emotions or you physically with his threats. This is a sick man. Remember, Our God is a loving God. He wants peace in your life. There are too many good men out there that you can have a very happy life with. I am very proud of you for walking away from this guy. Many women just think that they can fix the problem and most of the time their families are meeting them in the ER or at their funeral after it is too late. Go live your life in God's protection, be blessed with The Holy Spirit to continue to guide in your long beautiful life. Don't ever turn back! your friend that is concerned for your safety.
