Need healing in my tooth and gums

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and I have heard your suffering with your tooth and gums, your stitches and breathing difficulty, and your concern for your daughter and her teeth. I join you in asking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ upon you and your children.

We pray together that God who is able to do what is impossible for us would bring healing to your broken wisdom tooth, to your gums and nerves and bones, and to the cavities and weakness you and your daughter are experiencing. We ask Him to strengthen your bodies, to ease your breathing, to heal the wound on your forehead, and to grant wisdom and health for your children in their studies and daily life. We ask this trusting not in our own strength, for you have said rightly that you have no strength in yourself, but in the power of Christ who alone is our salvation and our healer. May He grant healing according to His wisdom, whether by His immediate mercy or through the care He provides, and give you peace to seek proper treatment when your body is able to receive it.

I also hear your pain about your workplace, where you are being hurt, bullied and wrongly accused, and your fear that others will mock your faith if this sickness continues. Know that God does not put to shame those who trust in Him, though that promise does not mean we will never face mockery or suffering. Our Lord Himself chose to endure the cross and to despise its shame, teaching us not to make our hope depend on the approval of people. When others look on outward appearance and speak against you, remember that shame from men is not the measure of Gods faithfulness. As you wait on Him, you can be bold whether in life or in trial, because Christ is your confidence.

Concerning those who wrong you, the Scriptures remind us that the old word eye for eye and tooth for tooth was given not to loose our hands for revenge, but to bind the hands of aggressors and to restrain evil. It was never Gods desire that we should live to repay injury for injury. A heart that nurses anger practices itself in evil, while a heart that entrusts judgment to God finds freedom. So I encourage you not to seek revenge, but to commit your cause to the Lord who judges justly, to pray even for those who hurt you, and to ask Him to guard your heart from bitterness while He defends you.

Tonight I pray that the Lord will have mercy on you and your children, that He will touch your mouths and bodies, relieve your pain, restore what is damaged, and grant you rest and strength. May He give you grace to bear this trial without shame, to continue in prayer and thanksgiving, and to know His presence so that you may testify of His goodness whatever the outcome. We ask the Father to do this in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son, through whom alone we have healing and hope.

Be assured that you are being remembered in prayer. Cast your cares upon Him, continue to seek Him daily, and trust His perfect will and timing.
