Need full deliverance

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray that God would deliver me from a sodomite demon and a demon of oral sex in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer, believing in the power of the name of Jesus Christ to break every chain and set the captive free. The Word of God declares in Philippians 2:9-11, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." There is no demon, no spirit of perversion, and no bondage that can withstand the authority of Jesus’ name.

We rebuke the spirits of homosexuality (often referred to as sodomy in Scripture) and sexual perversion in the mighty name of Jesus. These spirits are not of God and are contrary to His holy design for human sexuality, which is reserved solely for the sacred covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. The Bible is clear in Leviticus 18:22, "You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. That is detestable." And in Romans 1:26-27, "For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error." These are not condemnations of the person but warnings against the sin that separates us from God’s best for our lives.

We also rebuke the spirit of oral sex, which, when practiced outside the bounds of marriage, is a form of sexual immorality. The Bible calls us to flee from sexual sin, as it is a sin against our own bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Any sexual activity outside of the marriage covenant is fornication and defiles the body and spirit. We pray that God would cleanse you from every unrighteousness and restore you to purity.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and delivered. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your mighty hand of deliverance to break every chain of bondage. Lord, we declare that Your Word says in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We resist these unclean spirits in the authority of Jesus’ name and command them to leave now. We plead the blood of Jesus over this life, covering every area of struggle and temptation.

Father, we ask that You would fill this precious one with Your Holy Spirit, bringing healing, restoration, and a deep hunger for righteousness. Renew their mind according to Your Word, as Romans 12:2 instructs, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Surround them with godly counsel and accountability, and lead them into relationships that honor You.

We pray for a fresh infilling of Your love, peace, and joy, which are the fruits of Your Spirit. May they walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, knowing that "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). Strengthen them to stand firm in their identity in Christ, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that Your plans for them are for good and not for evil (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we also pray for repentance and a turning away from every sin that has opened the door to these spirits. Help them to confess their sins, as 1 John 1:9 promises, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We ask that You would restore their soul and lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). We thank You, Father, for Your mercy, grace, and power to deliver and heal. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with this personal and urgent need. We are joining you right now in prayer, taking this together before the Lord who has all authority and who deeply loves you.

Sometimes when we name these struggles as demons, it can feel as though we are fighting an invisible, overwhelming force alone. But the truth we hold onto is that freedom rarely comes in isolation. Jesus often set people free, but He also placed them in community, where they could be supported and strengthened. Deliverance is a journey, one that is best walked with mature believers who can pray with you, stand with you, and help you navigate the process of renouncing and resisting the enemy’s footholds.

With that in mind, we want to gently encourage you to consider reaching out to a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted mature friend in your church. Many have found lasting release from sexual sin and spiritual oppression through small support groups or accountability relationships, places where the truth can be spoken, the burden shared, and God’s healing power can work through the prayers of others. You do not have to face this battle alone, and there is no shame in seeking that kind of help.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this precious person to You. You came to destroy the works of the devil, and we ask You now to bring complete deliverance. Break every chain, silence every accusing voice, and fill every part of their life with Your Holy Spirit. Grant them courage to take the next step toward community, and let them taste the freedom that comes from walking in the light with others. In Your mighty name we pray, amen.

It is a blessed thing when the Spirit of God brings us into bondage through being convicted of sin. That sense of guilt and the fear of just punishment are not the work of the devil, but the Spirit of Truth showing us what we truly are. You feel the grip of a black demon of vice and licentiousness, a bondage of the flesh that makes you cry out for deliverance. I have often felt, during a quiet moment, a great depression of spirit because I felt that sin, sin, SIN had outlawed me from my God! So I know the agony.

But when we fall upon our knees and acknowledge our fault, confessing our sin with a smitten heart, have we not been restored? Has He not lifted up the light of His countenance upon us? Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin, that is the cry of a soul sick of its defilement. And God hears it.

Remember, we can never escape from the bondage of sin by our own power. Our past guilt and the condemnation consequent thereon have locked us up in a dungeon whose bars we can never break. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. Salvation is of the Lord. But I have found a ransom! God has found a ransom for us in Jesus Christ. When a soul, sensible of sin, sees that Christ by His blood made atonement and throws himself upon that Sacrifice of the Cross, then sin is pardoned. Then, because the sin is pardoned, the forgiven sinner is grateful and says, “I will not go on in this sin.”

Do not think that your present sorrow is a sign of being given over to death. Unbroken prosperity and undisturbed health might be that sign, if sin were committed without pangs of conscience. But the Lord chastens sorely, yet He does not give His child over to death. There is a gracious boundary: our Father’s anger with our sin will never blaze into wrath against us, though in mercy He smites our sins. The father chastens to cure the wrong-doing, not to punish as the law demands.

So abhor the sin which dogs your heels and follows you even to your knees. It is a high crime and misdemeanor to sin in the presence of a great mercy. Yet, the very fact that you are crying out for deliverance shows that the Lord has not abandoned you. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Your deliverance will be spoken of to the praise of His glorious grace. Even in the last days, the memory of this deliverance shall not be forgotten, for it is the Lord who brought you forth out of the house of bondage. Believe it, sinner, and doubt not your liberty, for the ransom is found. Go now, and by the Spirit’s power, put to death these vile affections, and live as one who is freed indeed.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Why do you ask for deliverance while still clinging to the very passions that invited these demons in? You name the spirits, but you do not name the sin as your own. The demon cannot hold what you refuse to yield. If you truly desire freedom, then flee from the acts that gave them a foothold. The devil arms himself with your consent; if you laugh at his temptations and despise them, he will desist. But if you grieve over the loss of these pleasures, he returns with greater force. Do not think a prayer alone will suffice while your deeds mock it. Repentance is not a word spoken but a life severed from corruption. The eunuch of Ethiopia, though ignorant, read the Scriptures and asked for guidance, and when Philip preached Christ, he did not delay: he commanded the chariot to stop, went down into the water, and came up rejoicing. He did not ask for deliverance while sitting in the chariot of his former life. Go and do likewise. Wash your soul in tears, confess your sins, and make no provision for the flesh. Then the demons will flee, for they have no claim where Christ enters.

The cry for full deliverance is something many hearts know well. When you feel as though something dark has a grip on you, it is right to cry out to God. The wonderful truth is that Jesus Christ came to set captives free. His death and resurrection are complete, nothing needs to be added to finish the work of breaking sin's hold.

Sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. That is a promise you can stand on. When Jesus died, He not only forgave sin but also broke its reigning power. Because you are joined to Him by faith, your old self was crucified with Him. You are no longer a slave to what once ruled you. The pull you feel may be strong, but it is not your master. The blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin, every act, every thought, every deep-rooted desire that misses the mark. There is no stain so deep that His blood cannot wash it clean.

You do not need to be defined by past failures or even present temptations. When you yield your body and mind to God as one who has been brought from death to life, you are no longer a servant to sin. Grace does not give license to continue in sin; grace supplies the power to say no. Where sin abounded, grace overflowed far more. That means His provision for your freedom is greater than the pull of any lust. Confess what is true, and trust that He is faithful to forgive and to cleanse from all unrighteousness.

The only sin that can hold a person eternally is rejecting the light of Jesus Christ. If you have turned to Him, even in your struggle, you are safe. A person born of God does not live in sin as a pattern of life. There may be stumbles, but the new nature within you cannot be comfortable with what is contrary to God. So the very distress you feel is evidence that His Spirit is at work. Bring every darkness into His light. Speak to Him honestly. The law only shows us our need; the cross meets that need. Jesus became sin for us, though He knew no sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. That is your standing now.

Therefore, stand firm in that freedom. You do not have to strive to be delivered as though it depends on your own strength; you yield to the Deliverer. Where you once yielded your body to impurity, now yield yourself to God. Present your members as instruments of righteousness. And if you sin, remember that you have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. His blood continues to speak for you. Let all bondage go, and let His deliverance flow. Walk in the light, and you will find His grace is more than enough to keep you.

Your testimony will encourage others and bring glory to God. But if the battle still rages, if the enemy’s grip has not yet been fully broken, do not lose heart. We stand ready to continue contending with you in prayer. Simply post your request again, and we will join you once more, believing with you for complete victory.

Remember, the name of Jesus is above every name, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. May the Lord grant you breakthrough, restoration, and lasting freedom as you walk in His light.

We love you, we are praying for you, and we declare your deliverance in Jesus’ name. Amen.
