Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you are carrying. To face surgeries and the weight of PTSD while feeling alone and deceived after entering marriage is a heavy burden, and it is understandable that you feel uncertain about what to do next physically, emotionally and legally. You are not unseen in this, and it is right to want to make decisions that honor God in the midst of confusion and pain.

Prayer is essential for guidance and for life itself. Jesus himself, though he is the Son of God, showed how necessary prayer is and often withdrew to pray. If he saw the need to seek the Father in that way, how much more do we need to do the same. Bringing every part of this situation before God in prayer is not a formality, it is how your spiritual life is sustained and how you receive wisdom when you do not know which step to take. Keep bringing your questions, your hurt, and your need for direction to him directly and continually.

In seeking direction, do not turn inward as if the answer is to be found by searching within yourself. There is much teaching today that tells people to look inside for guidance, but Scripture points us outward and upward to God. True wisdom comes from seeking him through his Word and through prayer, asking him to lead you. He promises that if anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask God who gives generously without finding fault.

God's design for marriage is that two become one. The Scriptures describe this as a deep unity where two distinct persons are joined into one bond, reflecting the unity of God himself. It is meant to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, lived out in faithfulness and shared life together. What you have described, a marriage followed quickly by separation and distance, is far from that design, and the grief and sense of betrayal you feel are real. God sees the brokenness when that oneness is not lived out, and he cares about both truth and faithfulness.

Jesus also showed his authority to heal and to forgive in a very practical way. When he told a paralyzed man to take up his bed and walk, and the man did so, it was clear evidence that his power was real and that his claim to forgive sins was true. That same power is still present to bring forgiveness, healing and restoration. That does not mean every physical struggle or emotional wound is removed instantly, but it means you can come to him for mercy for sin, for healing of heart and mind, and for strength in your body through this time of surgeries and recovery. He also affirms that there is resurrection and eternal life beyond this life, so your hope is not limited to what can be sorted out in this moment.

In practical terms, please do not walk through these decisions alone while you are overwhelmed. Seek wise, godly counsel on each level. Talk with a trusted pastor who holds to Scripture for spiritual and emotional support, seek qualified legal counsel to understand your rights and responsibilities clearly and to avoid hasty choices, and continue with trusted medical and mental health care for your physical needs and for PTSD. Surround yourself with mature believers who can pray with you, help you think clearly, and support you day by day. God often gives direction through his Word, through prayer, and through the counsel of faithful people around you.

I am praying for you, that God will give you clear wisdom for each decision, that he will provide for your physical healing and peace of mind, that he will surround you with trustworthy help, and that you will know his presence and comfort as you lean on him. May he guard your heart, guide your steps, and remind you that he is near to the brokenhearted and that his power to forgive, heal and sustain is real today.
