We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your need for approval for your shoulder surgery. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. We ask that You move mightily in this situation, softening the hearts of those who hold the power to approve this surgery. Lord, we pray that You would remove any obstacles or delays that are preventing this approval from coming through. Grant wisdom to the decision-makers and let them see the urgency and necessity of this procedure for Your child.
Heavenly Father, we also ask that You would calm any anxiety or fear that may be weighing on their heart. Remind them that You are in control, and that Your plans are for their good, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that You would grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we know that You are a God who hears our prayers, and we trust in Your perfect timing. We ask that You would work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray that this surgery would be approved today, so that they may have the procedure done and begin the healing process.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke any spirit of delay or hindrance that may be at work in this situation. We declare that this surgery will be approved, and that they will be able to have it done as scheduled. We pray for a successful surgery and a swift recovery, so that they may return to work and continue to be a light for You in their workplace.
We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your love for Your children. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
