Need a partner

Need a partner to walk and people are just lazy. Trying to abide by my dr’s orders Jesus please pray I get the right Godly Christian parter and also soul mate. Please help in all the paperwork and faxes that need to send out on these complaints so tired everything is a battle please help! Amen

We hear your heart in this request and we lift you up together before the Lord in Jesus' name. We understand your desire to obey your doctor's orders and to care for the body God has given you, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God, and you are not your own, for you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's as it says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. It is good that you want to be faithful in this, and we pray God will provide the encouragement and companionship you need to walk faithfully.

We also hear your longing for a godly Christian partner and soul mate, and we want to gently speak biblical truth into this. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman as God designed from the beginning, and we do not use the world's language of partner lightly. Scripture says Yahweh God said, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him in Genesis 2:18, and Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh in Proverbs 18:22. If you are seeking companionship, we encourage you to seek a godly spouse through prayerful courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, and not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers as taught in 2 Corinthians 6:14. The world speaks of a soul mate as if another person completes us, but we are first made complete in Christ, and a spouse is a helpmate to walk with you in serving the Lord. We pray you will delight yourself in Yahweh and He will give you the desires of your heart according to Psalm 37:4, as you trust in Him with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding in Proverbs 3:5-6.

We also hear your frustration that others seem lazy and unwilling to walk with you, and that you feel tired because everything is a battle, especially the paperwork and faxes and complaints. Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, and we pray God brings faithful friends and brothers and sisters in Christ to encourage you, even for something as simple as walking. We encourage you to release bitterness toward others and to show grace, while also continuing to do good without growing weary, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up in Galatians 6:9. He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might he increases strength in Isaiah 40:29, and we are reminded to cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you in Psalm 55:22.

We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and approach God's throne with confidence.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the desire for health and obedience and for godly companionship, and You see the weariness from every battle and every form and fax. We ask that You provide a godly spouse if it is Your will, a fellow believer who loves You first and will walk faithfully in marriage that honors You, keeping the marriage bed pure and honoring You in all things. Provide also faithful friends to walk alongside for health and encouragement. Give strength to the weary and power to the faint, and help with every piece of paperwork, that it would be completed with order and favor and without confusion. Teach us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to You, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus according to Philippians 4:6-7. Lord, invite this dear one to come to You, for You said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest in Matthew 11:28. Let Your will be done, let Your strength be made perfect in weakness, and let this dear one feel Your nearness and provision each day. We trust You to guide every step and to provide in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We are praying with you for strength for each day, for wisdom and endurance as you work through the paperwork, and for the Lord to provide the right companionship in His timing and way.

One practical step that has helped others in a similar spot is to let your church family in on both needs in a concrete way. You might ask your pastor or church office if they know one person who also wants a regular walking partner, or if there is a small group or midweek gathering where you could find that kind of steady connection. Worship and fellowship over time often ease that sense of isolation. For the paperwork, see if a trusted friend or church volunteer could sit with you for an hour to sort the forms into small piles and help with the faxes, so it is not all on you at once. And as you keep following your doctor's guidance, keep letting his office know how you are doing.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see the loneliness and the exhaustion and the desire for a faithful partner. Give rest and renewed strength today, guide each step and each piece of paperwork, and lead toward healthy, God-honoring community. Give wisdom and peace as You direct the days ahead. Your prayer has been heard and is carried with care before the throne of grace. You have spoken plainly of weariness, of the loneliness of walking alone when the body requires it, of paperwork and complaints that make every step feel like a battle, and of a deep desire for a godly companion to walk beside you in life.

Be encouraged that the Lord knows the weight of loneliness. Our Savior Himself was left alone just when as Man He most needed human sympathy, and therefore He understands the sorrow of being without fellowship. There are seasons when the child of God endures loneliness from the absence of godly society, and seasons of deep soul conflict when faith must fight for its very existence. In such times, constancy is rooted not in the presence of others but in looking to Christ and remaining faithful to Him, for while we believe we remain close to our Lord, and by His Spirit He sustains us.

You ask for a godly Christian partner and soul mate. We will pray that the Lord, in His wisdom and kindness, would provide such companionship according to His will, and that any such relationship would be ordered by His Word, which teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that our deepest union is first with Christ Himself, the Bridegroom who has loved His Church and given Himself for her. He will not put away His spouse, and His love secures those who are His. If you are in Christ, you have a life imparted at regeneration which is immortal and eternal, and the promise stands, they shall not depart from me. This is the final perseverance of the saints, not that we keep ourselves by our own strength, but that He who began a good work will perform it until the day of Christ. Let this be your comfort when you are tired and when people seem unwilling to help.

We will pray for you now.

Our Father, we bring this weary one before You who sees the need for strength to obey the physician, for a faithful companion to walk with, and for help amid piles of paperwork and faxes and complaints. Grant renewed strength to the body, patience and clarity of mind for every task that must be done, and relief from the sense that everything is a battle. Provide godly fellowship, and if it be Your will, a godly partner for life who loves You above all, to walk together in holiness and to encourage perseverance in grace. Above all, keep this soul close to Christ, that there may be perseverance in holiness and a settled trust that You will not leave nor forsake Your own. Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with care and compassion.

We pray first that God will give you strength and encouragement as you seek to be faithful in caring for your health and following your doctor's orders. Walking in obedience in small things honors Him, and we ask Him to provide a reliable and encouraging partner to walk with you, someone who will spur you on and help you persevere. We also hear your desire for a godly Christian partner and soulmate, and we pray that if it is His will, the Lord will lead you to a spouse according to His design for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, rooted in faith in Jesus Christ and marked by love, faithfulness and humility. We ask Him to guide you with wisdom and patience in that waiting, and to keep your heart centered on Christ, who alone is our salvation.

We also lift up the burden of paperwork, faxes and complaints that has left you tired and feeling that everything is a battle. God sees this weariness and He looks with favor on the humble and contrite heart that trembles at His word. He invites us to pray at all times and to persevere without ceasing. Like the widow who kept asking and like the Canaanite woman who persisted in faith, we are taught that perseverance in prayer is precious to Him, even when we feel unworthy or exhausted. Bring these practical needs to Him again and again, trusting that He hears.

So we pray: Lord Jesus, You are our only hope and our healer. Grant our brother or sister renewed energy, peace in place of weariness, and help with every form and task that must be completed. Provide helpers and open doors where there are obstacles. Guard this heart from discouragement and fill it with the joy that comes from trusting You, and lead in Your perfect timing in all relationships. May all be done for Your glory.
