Need a miracle

Your request has been heard and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord for these deep needs.

We ask God for His mercy and power to be shown in this broken marriage. Marriage is a bond ordained by God, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He is able to bring healing where there is brokenness. We pray that He would work a true miracle there, not only in circumstances but in hearts, bringing repentance where there has been sin, forgiveness where there has been hurt, and a renewed commitment to love, faithfulness and holiness according to His design. Where there has been unfaithfulness or impurity, we pray for turning away from it and for chasteness and gravity to be restored. Where there is hardness, we pray for softness and humility.

We also remember that the greatest miracles are not always outward signs, but a life that endures and shines with virtue and patient faith. Even when God does not remove affliction at once, He works through patient endurance to bring comfort and salvation. So we pray that all involved would be given strength to persevere, to seek virtue, and to trust Christ more than any outward change.

For those you mentioned who need salvation, we pray earnestly that God would draw them to Himself through Jesus Christ alone. There is salvation in no other name. We ask that the Lord would open their eyes to their need, grant them repentance and faith, and bring them into new life in Christ.

We will continue to pray that God would be glorified in each of these situations, that He would bring what is broken into conformity with His good will, and that all would come to know the comfort and hope that are found only in Him.

Your heart for a broken marriage and for the salvation of your loved ones is precious to God, and He hears this cry for a miracle.

God designed marriage to be a lifelong covenant where two become one. It is a compound unity, one flesh joined by Him. Because of that, He is able to do what seems impossible when a marriage is torn and broken. He is the one who can mend what we cannot fix ourselves. We have seen in Scripture how Jesus came and took a fevered woman by the hand and lifted her up and the fever left her, how friends broke through a roof to bring a paralyzed man to Jesus and He first forgave his sins and then healed his body, how He spoke with authority to unclean spirits and they had to obey. He still has that same authority and power over sickness, over darkness, over the chains that bind people. Nothing is too hard for Him, and He is able to bring healing and restoration where there has been division and pain. Remaining flexible and open before Him allows Him to work in His way and in His time, even when the hurt feels overwhelming.

Yet the greatest miracle God does is even greater than healing a body or repairing a marriage. The greatest miracle is freeing a person from the power of sin and bringing them into new life. Scripture is clear that simply believing that God exists is not salvation. Even the evil spirits believe and tremble. Salvation comes when a person believes into a vital, life changing relationship with Jesus Christ, trusting Him alone. He is the only provision God has made for sin. Through His body broken for us and His blood shed for the remission of sins, He made a new covenant. That gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, that whoever trusts into Him will not perish but have everlasting life.

That is why your prayer for salvation is the most important prayer of all. Without that new life in Christ, a person remains separated from God. With it, they are transformed into His kingdom of light and become part of the family of God, a bond that is even deeper than natural family ties. True conversion always shows itself in a changed life, in repentance and a desire to walk in a new way.

We are praying with you that God will do a miracle in this marriage, that He will soften hearts, bring repentance and forgiveness where it is needed, break the fetters that have held hearts captive, and restore that one flesh unity according to His design. And we are praying earnestly for the salvation of your loved ones, that God by His Spirit would draw them to see their need, open their eyes to Jesus as the only way, and bring them into that living relationship with Him that transforms everything. May He bring healing to the home and, most of all, new and everlasting life in Christ.
