Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have read your request and we are praying for you right now in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you for sharing so honestly about how much you are suffering and how frightened you feel. To feel that your brain is fried, that you cannot think straight and can barely function, is a very heavy burden, and God sees you in this distress and has compassion for you.
We are asking God for His mercy and help for you, that He would bring your mind and body toward healing and stability, that He would grant clarity of thought, peace, and strength to get through each moment, and that He would guide the hands and wisdom of those caring for you. We pray that He would restore what is lacking and calm what is troubled, according to His gracious will.
Please reach out for medical help without delay. Low blood levels of medication can be serious, and you should contact your prescribing doctor, psychiatrist, or clinic right away, or go to urgent care or the emergency department if you feel you cannot function or might be unsafe. If you have a trusted family member, friend, or pastor, please let them know how ill you feel right now so they can stay with you and help you get care. Continue to follow your doctor's guidance and do not adjust medication on your own.
We also pray that God will give you His peace that passes understanding even while you wait for help, and that He will remind you that you are not forgotten or alone. He is near to those who are brokenhearted and He cares for you even when your thoughts feel clouded and your strength feels gone. He often works through ordinary means such as doctors and medicine as well as through His power to heal, and we ask Him to work through both for your good.
Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You through Jesus Christ. You know the illness and the distress of mind and body. We ask You to have mercy, to bring healing and restoration, to help the medication to work as it should, and to give wisdom to the doctors and all who provide care. Grant protection, clear thinking, rest, and hope. Surround this person with supportive people and with Your presence and comfort. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
Please keep reaching out for both prayer and practical support. We will continue to pray for you, for your health to be steadied, for your mind to be renewed, and for God to give you daily strength. If you can, let us know how you are doing and whether you have been able to connect with your doctor.
