Disciple of Prayer
Hi everyone, I would greatly appreciate your prayers- I have a mental illness and a brain disease called schizophrenia. I am on some medication for it that helps me alot, however my blood levels of the med are now very low, my brain is now completely FRIED, I can't think straight, I am DEATHLY ill mentally, I almost can't function. There is something seriously wrong with me, profoundly wrong. I need help to get my med levels back to normal again, I might snap out of this if I can get my med levels back to normal again. Please pray for a miracle! Thank you!

We hear your cry and we are bringing your request before the Lord together in Jesus' name, asking for His mercy and healing over your mind and body. We are so grateful you reached out, and we want you to know that you are not alone and you are deeply loved by God even in this profoundly difficult and frightening time.

We understand you are living with schizophrenia and that your medication levels are very low, leaving you feeling fried, unable to think straight, deathly ill, and almost unable to function. We pray earnestly for a miracle in your brain and for the Lord to restore you to health and clarity. We also want to encourage you with urgency to reach out right away for medical help, to contact your prescribing doctor, psychiatrist, or clinic today, or a trusted family member, friend, or emergency care if you feel unsafe or unable to function. God often works through the wisdom He has given to doctors and medicine, and seeking help quickly to get your levels checked and stabilized is a vital step while we pray for His healing hand upon you. Please do not try to face this alone.

Scripture reminds us that the Lord is our healer and our refuge. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Psalm 34:18 tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and of self-control. Even when our minds feel chaotic and overwhelmed, God remains steady, present, and able to bring peace that goes beyond our understanding.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and find salvation and hope. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. He is the one who hears our prayers and intercedes for us.

We are praying for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You see the profound suffering, the confusion, the illness in the brain and mind, and the fear that has come with low medication levels. Lord, we ask for Your miracle touch. We pray You would restore healthy function to the brain, bring medication levels back to where they need to be, and grant clarity of thought, peace, and strength to function again. We pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and medical team, that they would have discernment to help quickly and effectively. We ask You to calm the fear and torment and replace it with Your peace. Philippians 4:7 says And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Let that peace guard this mind and heart right now. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Strengthen and uphold this dear one, Lord. We pray for protection from harm, for supportive people to come alongside, and for hope to rise again. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our healer and our hope, amen.

We will continue to pray for your miracle and for your restoration. Please keep reaching out for medical care and let someone close to you know how you are feeling today so you are not walking through this alone. God loves you more than you know, and we are trusting Him with you for healing and peace.

We were so glad you reached out and told us honestly how ill you feel right now. To feel fried and unable to think straight and barely able to function is exhausting and scary, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer.

We hear how important your medication has been in helping you, and how worried you are that your levels are low. Please, as you keep praying for that miracle, reach out right away to your prescribing doctor or psychiatrist and let them know exactly what you shared here about how you are feeling and what your labs showed. If you can, let a trusted family member, friend or pastor know as well so you are not carrying this alone and someone can help you get seen quickly. We encourage you to stay in close contact with your care team and not make changes on your own.

You matter to God and to us, and we are asking Him to bring you relief, clarity and steady guidance for your doctors as they help you.

Father, we bring our brother before You in Jesus name. You see how sick and overwhelmed he feels. Please draw near with Your peace, steady his mind, and give wisdom to his doctors and support around him. Help him feel Your presence and get the care he needs quickly. We trust him to Your loving hands. Amen.

Your cry has been heard and we have carried your burden before the throne of grace. To be so afflicted in mind that thought itself becomes a labour, to feel as you describe fried and unable to function and deathly ill, is a sore trial indeed, and the Lord sees your distress. We do not take lightly the suffering you have described, and we have prayed that the God of all compassion would draw near to you in this dark hour.

We are reminded that there is healing virtue in our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom it is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Not only His great works but the least thing about Christ is healing, and that healing touches both soul and body. The power to save and to restore does not lie in the person who suffers, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself, and He needs only to speak to bring peace where there is turmoil. He is the great Physician who binds up the brokenhearted and who has often shown His mercy both by an immediate touch and by the gracious means He has provided.

In His kindness God has given skill to physicians and help through medicines, and we thank Him that you have found some help in the treatment prescribed for you. When blood levels fall and the mind is so profoundly affected, it is right and needful to seek help without delay. We urge you, even as we pray, to turn at once to those who care for you medically, to your prescriber, your doctor, or urgent care, and to let a trusted family member, friend or pastor know how ill you feel and that you need help to have your medication levels restored. If you feel unsafe or unable to function, please seek immediate medical help and do not remain alone. To use the means God has placed at hand is not a lack of faith, but a wise receiving of His provision.

We have prayed for you and we continue to pray, that the Lord would have mercy upon you and grant you a gracious restoration. We have asked that He would guide the hands and minds of those who treat you, that your medication levels would be brought back to a safe and helpful place, that clarity of thought would return, that fear would be calmed, and that you would know His sustaining presence through the night of affliction. Above all we have prayed that you would feel brought into contact with Christ Himself, for it is His touch that heals the sin sick soul and His pardon that brings true peace. If you have not already, look to Him who bore our sicknesses and sorrows, trusting Him alone for salvation, for in Him there is both forgiveness and healing.

May the Lord, who is grand in emergencies and who displays His power without needing to be pressed, show Himself strong on your behalf. May He keep you, quiet your mind, and surround you with help and care in these days. Cast yourself upon Him who cares for you, and let those around you help bear this burden with you. We will continue to remember you before the Lord, asking Him to grant you relief, steadiness, and hope in His mercy.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
