Need a job asap and vehicle

Lost my job last week due to lies and nonsense. Asking prayers for God to grant me success and favor in obtaining a temporary full-time job that pays well and also that God will bless me with a car to get to this job as well

We hear your cry for help in this difficult season, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your needs before the throne of grace. The loss of a job, especially under unjust circumstances, can bring deep frustration and uncertainty, but we know that God is our Provider and that He sees your struggle. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We believe He will open doors for you that no man can shut.

First, we must address the urgency of your situation with faith and wisdom. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." As you seek employment, we encourage you to apply diligently, network with believers who may know of opportunities, and remain open to how God may lead, even if the job isn’t exactly what you envisioned. Temporary work can often lead to permanent blessings if we walk in obedience.

Regarding the need for a vehicle, we pray that God would make a way where there seems to be no way. In Isaiah 43:19, He declares, "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out already. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Whether through an unexpected gift, a low-cost opportunity, or divine favor in financing, we trust God to meet this need as well.

However, we must also gently remind you that our prayers are most powerful when we align our hearts with God’s will. If there are any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin, particularly regarding the circumstances of your job loss, we encourage you to release them to the Lord. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Holding onto offense can hinder our prayers, so we ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and bring healing where it’s needed.

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of employment and transportation. Lord, You know the details of this situation, and You see the injustice that has taken place. We ask for Your justice to prevail and for Your favor to rest upon them as they seek new work. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also honors You. Father, we also pray for a reliable vehicle, whether through provision, opportunity, or divine connection. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to meet this need according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, we ask that You would guard their heart from bitterness, doubt, or fear. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and help them to walk in wisdom and diligence in this season. We declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them closer to You.

We rebuke any spirit of lack or delay in Jesus’ name. We speak breakthrough, provision, and divine acceleration over their situation. May Your will be done in their life, and may Your name be glorified through this trial. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen."

In the meantime, we encourage you to:
1. Seek God’s guidance daily, Spend time in prayer and Scripture, asking the Holy Spirit to direct your steps.
2. Stay active in your search, Apply for jobs consistently, follow up on leads, and consider temporary agencies if needed.
3. Lean on your church or Christian community, Let fellow believers know of your need; they may have connections or resources to help.
4. Remain hopeful, God’s timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with ours. Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."

We believe that God is already moving on your behalf. Keep your eyes open for His provision, and don’t lose heart. Your breakthrough is coming!

We can only imagine how disorienting it must feel to have a job suddenly pulled out from under you, especially when it happened through lies. That kind of injustice stirs real anger and fear, and it makes total sense that you’re urgently asking for both work and a way to get there. Please know we’re right alongside you in this, not just praying but also wanting you to have some steady ground to stand on practically.

One thing that helps many folks in your shoes is to see this crisis in stages, not as a permanent verdict. Right now the shock and frustration are expected. The part of you that feels angry about the nonsense? That’s a sign you still have fight left, and that’s good. But it’s also important not to let that anger harden into hopelessness. While you wait on God, we’d encourage you to take one concrete step today: rework your résumé and reach out to your closest circle of contacts, not just to ask about openings, but simply to let them know what happened. Sometimes a friend’s word-of-mouth leads to a temporary job before it even gets posted. If your church has a job-networking group or a list of members who can offer rides, that could solve two needs at once. Even a local temp agency can be a quick bridge.

And as you search, we’d simply ask you to talk about what you’re experiencing with a trusted friend or pastor. It’s easy to isolate when joblessness starts to chip away at your identity, but naming the struggle aloud reminds you that you’re not alone, and more importantly, that your worth was never tied to that paycheck.

Let’s pray briefly right now: Lord Jesus, you see this injustice and the weight it’s placing on our friend. We ask you to open doors for a good temporary job that suits their skills and brings the income they need. Provide a reliable vehicle or a steady ride so they can step into that work without another hurdle. Surround them with people who speak truth and offer practical help, and guard their heart from bitterness. We trust you to bring favor where there’s been unfairness. In your name, Amen.

The loss you have suffered by lies and sudden upheaval is no small trial, but take a grateful review of all that God has done for you from your first day until now. You have been granted life and favor, and His visitation has preserved your spirit. The enemy may stir up nonsense, but in all this you need not sin nor charge God foolishly; instead, fall down upon the ground and worship, even with torn mantle and shaven head, for the Lord Himself remains your portion.

You ask for success and favor in obtaining work and a vehicle. Remember, the highest favors of all, being chosen, redeemed, called, justified, are already yours if you are in Christ. And He who gave you life will not withhold the lesser boon of daily bread and the means to reach it. God’s favor in Providence makes all things work together for your good. The throne of grace stands ready; pour out your urgent need, and do not restrain your prayers, for restrained prayer keeps back the blessing. The Holy Spirit alone can turn your request into light and power.

Do not merely seek to be relieved, but also ask to be made a blessing wherever God places you next. If He puts you in a new workplace, you shall be a blessing. Let this season drive you to His presence, where in the absence of other goods the good God is better seen. Trust Him for a temporary, well-paying job, and for the car, the Lord who made worlds out of nothing is generous and will do exceeding abundantly above what you ask. He supported Job in far heavier losses; He will support you. Look only to Him, and in every step say, “You have granted me life and favor.”

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When the wicked lie against you, it is natural to weep, as Joseph wept when his brothers cast him into the pit and sold him. Yet Joseph did not seek revenge when God raised him to power. So you also, do not let anger or bitterness fester in your soul over the lies that cost you your employment. Rather, entrust yourself to the righteous Judge, who sees all and will bring every deed into judgment.

Your present need for work and a car is pressing, and you are right to seek help from God. I will join you in prayer, but hear also this warning: take care that in your urgency you do not grasp at any means to obtain them. A job gained through deceit or unjust gain is an unclean offering to the Lord; better to suffer want than to prosper by iniquity. Seek first His righteousness, and trust that He who feeds the birds will not abandon you.

Do not pervert justice by showing partiality to the rich or by envying the prosperity of the wicked. The Lord loves the righteous, and He will not forsake those who walk uprightly. Therefore, I pray that God may grant you honest work and the means of travel, but above all, a heart content with His provision and turned away from covetousness. May He, who revealed to Peter that Jesus is the Son of the living God, reveal to you His will for your life and open doors that no man can shut, so that you may glorify Him in all you do.
