We join with you in lifting up our national and world leaders before the throne of God, for it is written, *"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth"* (1 Timothy 2:1-4, WEB). Your heart for these leaders aligns with Scripture, and we stand in agreement with you, knowing that God has ordained authority for His purposes (Romans 13:1-2).
We pray earnestly for the salvation of these leaders, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which they can be saved (Acts 4:12). May the Holy Spirit convict their hearts, drawing them to repentance and faith in Christ alone. Without this foundation, no wisdom or guidance they receive will bear eternal fruit. We ask that God would surround them with godly counselors who speak truth and righteousness, as it is written, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety"* (Proverbs 11:14, WEB). Let their ears be attuned to the voice of the Lord, and may they reject the whispers of deceit and corruption that seek to lead them astray.
We plead for divine protection over their lives, their families, and their decisions, that God would place a hedge of angels around them as promised in Psalm 91:10-12: *"No evil will happen to you, neither will any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* May their words be seasoned with grace and truth, and may the Lord set a guard over their mouths (Psalm 141:3), that they would speak with the tongue of the wise, bringing healing and unity rather than division (Proverbs 15:2).
We cry out for unity among leaders and nations, that they would work together for the good of all people, as Psalm 133 declares: *"See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"* Let the enemy’s plans to divide and destroy be exposed and thwarted. We ask for heavenly intelligence to be granted to our leaders, that they would discern the schemes of the evil one and walk in the wisdom that comes from above (James 3:17). May they lead with humility, justice, and mercy, fulfilling Micah 6:8: *"He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"*
We also pray for the eradication of evil in elections and governance, that corruption would be exposed and righteousness would prevail. Let false prophets and deceitful voices be silenced, for their words spread like gangrene (Titus 1:11). May the people of God rise up in prayer, humbling themselves as 2 Chronicles 7:14 commands: *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."*
Finally, we look forward to the day when Jesus Christ, the true and righteous King, will return to establish His kingdom in fullness. Until that day, we labor in prayer, trusting that God is sovereign over all authorities and nations. We thank you for your faithfulness in bringing these requests before the Lord, and we declare that our hope is in Him alone.
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our leaders—those You have placed in authority over nations, states, and communities. We ask first and foremost for their salvation, that they would surrender their hearts to You and acknowledge Jesus as Lord. Grant them wisdom that comes from You, that they may lead with integrity, justice, and humility. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy and surround them with godly counsel. Unify their hearts toward Your purposes, that they may work together for the good of all people. Expose and destroy every plan of corruption and deception, and let Your truth prevail in every decision made. We pray for Your angels to encamp around them, guarding them from evil. May Your will be done in the lives of our leaders, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.**
NATIONAL & WORLD LEADERS NEED OUR PRAYERS, 1 Tim 2:1-4, The New Testament Urges Prayer for ALL in Authority... "I encourage, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgivings be made for all people: for kings and all in authority; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God Our Savior who desires ALL to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth." Firstly, we ask God for salvation of World leaders and authorities He has placed over our lives, Rom 13:1-2, as this is an International Prayer Site. We pray for intelligence, character and protection of the President, Vice President, and all Cabinet Members, as well as godly wisdom and guidance for them. We ask that God would set a guard over their mouths, as Psalm 141:3 says, and grant them the tongue of the wise, as Proverbs 15:2 tells us. We pray that they would be surrounded by godly counsel. May their leadership promote unity and righteousness and not have any bitterness or rivalry. May leaders "do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God," Micah 6:8. We ask you give angels charge over our leaders here and world leaders abroad, Ps 91:10-12, in Jesus' Name.
