First of All, I Urge Prayers, Petitions, Intercessions and Thanksgivings be Made for All People, 1 Tim 2:1, for Government and All in Authority, so We May Lead Peaceful and Quiet Lives of Devotion and Dignity, 1 Tim 2:2, which is Good and Pleasing in the Sight of God our Savior, 1 Tim 2:3, Who Wants All People to Be Saved and Come to the Knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:4... Salvation, Wisdom, Guidance, Protection, Peace of The Beautiful or Glorious Land, Dan 11:41, Rom 10:1, and Peace of its People Worldwide, Ps 122:6... SAVE THE WORST, BLESS THE BEST, GUIDE THEM ALL, RAISE UP, SET DOWN, THE LORD GOD OMNIPOTENT REIGNS, Rev 19:6... ๐Ÿ™ โ€œWe give You thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign," Rev 11:17...

๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป Our Father, we offer "petitions, PRAYERS, intercessions and thanksgivings," for ALL in AUTHORITY (Whether we LIKE them or NOT does not Exempt us from our DUTY), Save and PROTECT The President, His Family, Cabinet, Service Members, Our Senators, Representatives, SCOTUS Justices & Generals, Our PASTORS, Spiritual Leaders Here and Worldwide, and all Presidents, Prime Ministers, Governors, Kings, Parliaments, Congress Members -- "ALL in authority, that we might lead a quiet life in all godliness and dignity, knowing this pleases You, our Savior, who desire ALL to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-4.

๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป We ask for the fostering of godly alliances between free countries, for wisdom, humility (what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49), and promotion of and strengthening of godly international alliances. We pray for the diminished influence of evil alignments, the eradication of false prophecy, teaching and persecution, and ultimately for the furtherance of free speech, press and publication, digital, written and spoken, that the Gospel of Jesus, the True Messiah, His Kingdom and all He commanded might lead to repentance and making disciples of nations throughout the world, Matt 28:18-20. We thank You and pray for the leaders who endeavor to be honest and have the agenda of Your Worldview, 1 Thes 5:17-18.

๐Ÿ™Œ We also thank You for those leaders You have allowed to be in power, Rom 13:1, and ask they be as channels of water in the hand of the Lord, Prov 21:1, knowing You sit in the heavens, and do whatever You please, Ps 115:3. We confess You are working all things after the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11, thwart the plans of the wicked, Ps 33:10-11, work everything together for good to those who love You and according to Your purpose are CALLED, Rom 8:28. We submit to You, James 4:7, to government, Rom 13, to those who will have to give account for us in the Body of Christ, Heb 13:17, put on Your Armor, Eph 6:10-20, asking for loving-kindness, truth and angelic protection for us, for them, protecting them and ourselves from the serpent and his fallen angels, Dan 10:12-13, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You that Christ, who is in us, is greater than he that is in the world, 1 Jn 4:4, and for hearing these requests, Mark 11:24, with thanksgiving we offer these requests -- let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds, Phil 4:6-7, in Christ Jesus' Name...

We lift our voices together in fervent prayer and intercession for our national, world, church, and civic leaders, as Scripture commands us in 1 Timothy 2:1-4: "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the full knowledge of the truth."

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace, acknowledging that You alone hold the hearts of kings and leaders in Your hand, as Proverbs 21:1 declares: "The kingโ€™s heart is in Yahwehโ€™s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray for wisdom, discernment, and humility for all those in authority, presidents, prime ministers, governors, legislators, judges, military leaders, pastors, and spiritual leaders worldwide. May they seek Your face, submit to Your will, and govern with justice, righteousness, and a heart for the people they serve. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly counselors and advisors who will speak truth and guide them in paths of righteousness for Your nameโ€™s sake.

We pray for the salvation of those who do not yet know You, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. As 2 Peter 3:9 reminds us, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." Father, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, that they may confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We also lift up the beautiful land and its people, asking for Your protection, peace, and prosperity. As Daniel 11:41 speaks of the "glorious land," we pray that You would guard our nations from harm, both seen and unseen. Shield us from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Raise up leaders who will stand for truth, justice, and the values that align with Your Word. We rebuke the influence of evil alliances, false teachings, and persecution that seek to silence the Gospel. Instead, Lord, we ask that You would strengthen the voice of Your people, that the message of Christโ€™s love and redemption would spread freely and powerfully across the earth.

Father, we thank You for the leaders You have placed in authority, even those with whom we may disagree. We recognize that all authority is established by You (Romans 13:1), and we submit to Your sovereign plan. We ask that You would use them as instruments of Your peace, turning their hearts toward righteousness and justice. As Psalm 115:3 declares, "Our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases." We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20), standing firm against the schemes of the devil. We pray for angelic protection over our leaders, ourselves, and our nations, that no weapon formed against us would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that Christ in us is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4), and we resist the enemy, submitting ourselves to You, Lord (James 4:7).

We thank You for hearing our prayers, for You are faithful and just. As Philippians 4:6-7 assures us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We trust in Your promises, and we ask that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up these leaders before God. It can be draining to faithfully pray through such a list, especially when the news feels heavy and hope seems thin. But your prayer is not a small thing, it is a real act of trust that God is on his throne, working out his purposes through governments and shepherds, whether they acknowledge him or not. Thank you for persevering in that work.

One thing we find grounding is to pick one or two specific names each day, a senator, a prime minister, a local pastor, and pray for them with particularity. It keeps the wider list from becoming an abstraction. Today, maybe hold before the Lord the leader you most struggle to respect, and ask for that personโ€™s genuine good. That kind of prayer changes us even as we intercede.

Father, we ask you to save, guide, and protect all who hold authority. Give them wisdom they do not naturally possess. Thwart the plans of the wicked. Raise up honest and humble leaders, and draw many to the knowledge of your truth. Grant your church faithful shepherds, and let your gospel flourish in every land. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who alone is Lord over every ruler. Amen.

The prayer that has been lifted up for kings and all in authority is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, and it is a sweet savour when the saints besiege the throne of grace for the peace of our land. Yet I must bring you back to the root and foundation of all true peace and blessing. All the wisdom, protection, and salvation pleaded for in that earnest petition are found in one place: the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. You have asked for the salvation of the worst and the blessing of the best; hear then the plain scriptural truth, "Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed." The way of salvation is not a path of works or human merit, but a simple looking unto Jesus. The text rings out with divine simplicity, "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth." This is God's salvation, devised by infinite wisdom, purchased by precious blood, and it draws the sinner toward God himself.

You speak of the beautiful land and its people, but what is the beauty of any land if its inhabitants have not seen God's salvation? It is Christ who is salvation; Simeon held the infant Redeemer in his arms and declared, "My eyes have seen Your salvation." This is the only salvation worth being our own, for it is divine in its planning, its execution, and its power to deliver from the love of sin. The prayer for leaders to be channels of water in the Lord's hand is well, but remember the Lord sits in the heavens and does whatever He pleases. His sovereign purpose is to have mercy upon many through the free grace of the gospel. Thwart the plans of the wicked? Yes, He will do it, and often by turning the hearts of rulers even as He wills. But the greatest thwarting of evil is the conversion of a sinner, for then the prey is taken from the mighty.

Lest we be found offering petitions for the world while neglecting our own souls, consider the weight of your own salvation. Salvation!, a great word! It is not merely deliverance from the penalty of sin, but emancipation from its power. Does your heart seek peace? Perfect peace is the portion of the mind stayed on Jehovah through trust in His Son, "peace, peace," the double peace of reconciliation and rest. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge and loved ones are far away. This is the common salvation, shared by all the redeemed, and it is this inward reality that makes our intercessions for governments and nations effectual and fervent.

Go, then, to the cross and leave the whole matter of your salvation and the world's turmoil with Him in unquestioning confidence. Let your prayer for authorities be salted with the personal cry, "I will rejoice in Your salvation." For when a soul takes hold of Christ, that soul is saved beyond hazard, and the peace of God, which surpasses all the scheming of earthly councils, garrisons the heart. It is enough that earth's struggles shall soon cease and Jesus calls us to heaven's perfect peace. Pray for the president, for parliaments, for the furtherance of free speech that the gospel may run swiftly, but make certain you have yourself drunk the wine and milk of the gospel without money and without price. The Lord God omnipotent reigns; trust Him, and then you may truly labor in prayer that all people be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
