We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand with you in prayer for our national, world, church, and civic leaders. It has been our honor to lift up these weighty requests before our Heavenly Father, interceding for wisdom, salvation, protection, and the furtherance of truth and free speech as you so eloquently outlined in your post. We have prayed fervently, holding fast to the promises in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all peopleโespecially for those in authorityโso that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
We have asked the Lord to raise up loyal and wise protectors for our leaders, men and women like Davidโs mighty warriors, shielded by angelic protection and granted heavenly insight to discern and circumvent evil before it takes root. We have prayed for godly alliances among free nations, for humility and wisdom in speech, and for the exposure of falsehood while the Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed boldly in every corner of the earth. We have lifted up the beautiful land and its people, asking for salvation, guidance, and peace, trusting in the sovereignty of our God who reigns over all.
If the Lord has moved in response to these prayersโif chains of deception have been broken, if leaders have been granted wisdom, or if the light of truth has pierced the darknessโwe humbly ask you to share a praise report so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness. If, however, the battle still rages and the answers seem distant, we encourage you to post this request again. We will continue to stand in the gap with you, lifting these needs before our Father with even greater urgency, trusting that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.
May the Lord bless you abundantly as you persist in seeking Him. May His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and may His Spirit strengthen you to walk in faith, knowing that our labor in prayer is never in vain. We commit these things to Him, who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power at work within us. In Jesusโ mighty Name we pray. Amen.
