Name change and new job

Disciple of Prayer
Holy Spirit, You who make me see everything and showed me the way to reach my ideals, You who gave me the divine gift to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me and You who are in all instances of my life with me, I want to thank You for everything and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You no matter how great the material desire may be. I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory. Amen In Jesus Christ, your Son's name, I ask that you grant me this new job and please complete my name change before it begins While making the request, you must promise either: (a) To publish this prayer or (b) To circulate the favor This prayer should be said for 3 consecutive days. After the 3rd day, the request will be granted, no matter how difficult it may be.

We join you in bringing your desire for a new job and the completion of your name change before the Lord, and we thank you for expressing your thankfulness to Him and your desire never to be separated from Him. That longing to remain close to God is precious, and we pray He will deepen it in you.

We want to lovingly address something in the prayer you shared, because we care about you praying in a way that honors God and aligns with Scripture. The idea that you must publish or circulate this prayer, say it for three consecutive days, and then your request will be granted no matter how difficult it may be, is not a biblical teaching. God is not moved by formulas, repetitions, or promises to circulate a prayer, and He cannot be obligated by them. Jesus taught us, When you pray, don’t use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. Therefore don’t be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:7-8. And we are reminded, You ought to say, If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that. James 4:15. Our confidence is not in a method but in the character and will of God, for This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14.

We also want to encourage you in how Scripture teaches us to pray. The Holy Spirit is fully God, co-equal with the Father and the Son, and He does help us, intercede for us, and guide us into all truth. Romans 8:26 says the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Yet Jesus taught us to pray to the Father in His name, and it is through Jesus that we have access to God. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13. We rejoice that you did ask in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son, for it is only by that name we are saved and have confident access to the throne of grace. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12.

We do not need to bargain with God or complete a ritual to be heard. He hears the sincere, humble prayer of a child trusting His Father. So we want to pray with you simply, sincerely, and according to His will for your life.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for Your Holy Spirit who dwells with us, who convicts, comforts, and leads us, and we thank You that You know the desires of this heart before they are even spoken. Lord, we lift up this need for a new job and for the name change to be completed in an orderly and timely way. We ask that if it is Your will, You would open the right door for employment, a place where our friend can work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23, and provide for daily needs and use the gifts You have given for Your glory. We pray that You would give favor and clarity with the officials and paperwork involved in the name change, and that all things would be done honestly and with integrity as a testimony to You. Above all, we pray that Your will be done, and that You would grant peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Lead by Your Spirit, not by material desire, but by a desire to be with You and to walk in Your perpetual glory, and help our friend to trust Your timing, knowing that A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9. We ask this not because we have repeated words correctly, but because we trust in the mercy and love of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in His Word and in honest prayer without fear or formula, to be diligent in your job search, to act faithfully in the application and interview process, and to trust that God will answer according to what is best for you. He sees everything and He loves you far more than any earthly employer or court could. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. Psalm 55:22. We continue to stand with you in prayer.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about your new job and your name change. We hear how much you want the timing to come together and to step into this next season with everything in order. Wanting to stay close to God through it is a good desire and He welcomes that honesty.

We want to gently encourage you that prayer is not a formula where saying certain words for three days or passing them on guarantees an answer, no matter how difficult the request. God hears you because you come to Him through Jesus and because He loves you, not because of a perfect phrase. He invites you to keep talking with Him simply and daily, bringing your hopes to Him while trusting His wisdom and timing with the outcome.

As you wait, one steady step can help you walk this out faithfully. Keep bringing this to God in your own words each day, and also tend to the practical side you can control. Check with the court or agency handling your name change for the current timeline and any paperwork still needed, and if it is appropriate, keep clear communication with your new employer about where things stand. That lets you act responsibly while you leave the results in God's hands.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You know the hope for this job and the desire to have the name change completed before it begins. Provide what is needed, give wisdom for each next step, and guard their heart with Your peace as they trust You. Draw them closer to You in this season and lead them according to Your good will. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your petition concerning employment and a change of name has been heard, and we desire to lift your needs before the throne of grace in a manner agreeable to the Word of God.

We must speak plainly with you in love, for the form of prayer you have repeated contains error which would lead your soul astray. The Holy Spirit is not a power to be moved by repeating words for three days or by promising to publish or circulate a prayer, as though God could be bound by our formulas. Such teaching makes prayer a charm, and it dishonors the Lord who heareth not for much speaking or for outward display, but for the sake of Jesus Christ His Son. Our Lord taught us to pray, Thy will be done, not that our will should be imposed upon Him, and to trust not in the act of publishing, but in the blood and intercession of Christ alone.

The Spirit who makes us to see all things makes us to see Christ, and to see our own sin and need of Him. He does not show us the way to reach our ideals if those ideals are only material desires, but He shows us the way to Christ, and conforms us to Christ, and teaches us to say with Job, All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. It is your privilege to wait upon the Lord, like a servant waiting for his Master's time, believing that His time is best, and that the change when it comes will be for your good if you are His.

We do not therefore pray that you may have your desires no matter how great the material desire may be, nor that a request will be granted no matter how difficult it may be, as though God must obey us. We pray that you may be kept from being separated from Christ, for there is no salvation but through Him, and His name shall endure for ever, when all other names pass away. If you know Him, they that know Your name will put their trust in You, and that trust will keep you whether the job is given or withheld, whether the earthly name is changed or not.

Job sinned not nor charged God foolishly when all was taken from him, and afterward he saw the Lord more clearly and repented in dust and ashes, finding that repentance is a true change of mind and heart before God. So we would have you seek first that inward change, the new birth, the fresh anointing of the Spirit, and then to commit your outward circumstances to the Lord's wise providence.

We will pray for you after this manner, that the Lord in His mercy would guide you to honest employment suited to your gifts, that He would provide for your daily needs, that any lawful change of name you seek may be ordered in integrity and without deceit, and above all that you may be found in Christ, waiting patiently till your change come, and finding that whether on earth or in heaven, the Lord is there.

May the Lord turn your captivity as He did Job's, not because a form was repeated, but because you cast yourself wholly upon His grace in Jesus Christ, who alone is Wonderful, and whose name is above every name. We commend you to Him who is able to keep you and to give you far more than temporal prosperity, even Himself in perpetual glory. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this person to You. Thank You for Your guidance and presence in their life. We ask for Your favor in granting them this new job and completing their name change, for *"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans"* (**Proverbs 16:3**). Let every detail work out in Your perfect timing, for *"My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus"* (**Philippians 4:19**). Keep them close to You always.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
