We hear your heart overflowing with gratitude for the blessings in your life, your children thriving, family unity, and the simple joys of shared moments. It is beautiful to see your thankfulness for God’s provision, and we rejoice with you in His goodness. The Word reminds us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow" (James 1:17). Your children’s growth, their talents, and your bond as a family are indeed gifts to cherish.

However, we must address the areas where your words stray from biblical truth. First, we notice language that dishonors God and invokes concepts like "karma," which have no place in the life of a believer. Scripture is clear: "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear" (Ephesians 4:29). We must guard our tongues and align our thoughts with God’s Word, not the world’s philosophies.

You also mention spiritual warfare, and while we affirm that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), we must fight this battle God’s way. The blood of Jesus is our victory, not retaliatory wishes or ungodly language. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). We do not curse our enemies but pray for them, trusting God to judge justly. "Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse" (Romans 12:14).

Most critically, your request does not explicitly acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord or the foundation of your faith. Salvation comes only through Him: "Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’" (John 14:6). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and receive His gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). Without Jesus, there is no access to the Father, no forgiveness, and no true victory over the enemy.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the blessings You’ve poured out on this family. Thank You for the health, joy, and unity You’ve given them. Lord, we ask that You would protect their minds and hearts from the schemes of the enemy. Fill them with Your peace and guard them against fear or bitterness. We rebuke every evil influence targeting this family in Jesus’ name and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we pray for this dear one to fully embrace the lordship of Jesus Christ. May they surrender every area of their life to You, including their words, thoughts, and desires. Cleanse them from any ungodly language or attitudes, and fill their mouth with praise and thanksgiving. Help them to walk in love, even toward those who may oppose them, and to trust You for justice.

Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and deepen their understanding of Your Word. May they find their identity and security in You alone. Bless their children abundantly, guiding them in Your ways and protecting them from the influences of this world. Surround this family with godly community and wisdom as they navigate life’s challenges.

We declare that the blood of Jesus covers this family, and no evil plan will succeed against them. May they experience Your presence in every moment and walk in the victory You’ve already won. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to focus on building your family’s faith through prayer, Scripture, and godly fellowship. Replace thoughts of retaliation with trust in God’s sovereignty. My dear Friend,

I have received your request, and I perceive a heart that longs for the good of your offspring, your mother, and even your household pets. You speak of soccer and movies, of crab and lobster, of a daughter who excels in purple, and you wish for these common mercies to be enjoyed with gratitude. It is right to see every good gift as coming down from the Father of lights, and to desire the well-being of those entrusted to you. Yet, I must gently press upon you a deeper concern, for there are expressions in your petition which betray a mind much agitated by the malice of others and a trust in words and formulas rather than in the living God.

You invoke the blood of Jesus, and indeed that precious blood speaks better things than that of Abel. It cries not for vengeance, but for mercy; it pleads for the forgiveness of sinners and the protection of saints. But mark this: the blood of Christ is no charm to be repeated as though the mere utterance of words could turn aside evil. The covenant is made sure through that blood to all who rest in Christ by a living faith, who have been sprinkled in conscience from dead works to serve the living God. Are you washed in that blood? Have you fled to Jesus as your only Mediator? He is approachable, even to the chief of sinners, and His blood cleanses from all sin. But if your heart harbours bitterness and a desire that evil should befall those who trouble you, then you have not yet learned the lesson of the cross.

You cry out against Satan, and against those you believe to be playing evil games against you in secret. I do not doubt that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, and that wicked men may devise mischief. Yet the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. You speak of karma, a heathen notion, and of bringing a backfire upon your enemies. But the Scripture says, "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." Commit your cause to Him who judges righteously, and leave vengeance in His hands. To invoke such things as "no number 9 movements" and the like is but the speech of superstition, not the language of a soul resting in the sovereignty of God. What have these to do with the blood of the Lamb? Put away such empty words, and let your prayers be sober and scriptural.

The heart, as our Lord taught, is the source of all evil thoughts and desires. If you would see your offspring guarded, seek first that their hearts and your own be renewed by the Spirit. It is not the laundry being done, nor any outward circumstance, that secures your peace; it is Christ within you, the hope of glory. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart, if those desires are conformed to His will. Pray for your enemies, bless them that curse you, and so shall you heap coals of fire upon their heads in the only sense a Christian may do so, by melting them into repentance.

May the Lord turn your eyes from the vain clamour of secret foes and fix them upon Jesus. He is able to keep you and your household from falling, and to present you faultless before His presence with exceeding joy. But rely not upon any phrase, however often repeated, nor upon any bitter wish against others. Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Seek His righteousness, and all these things, the safety of your children, the enjoyment of simple pleasures, the peace of your home, shall be added unto you according to His wisdom.

You speak of soccer and crab as blessings, and you give thanks that your offspring are well and that laundry is done. But consider what the Apostle teaches: God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Is soccer a spiritual blessing? Is eating lobster a share in the inheritance of the saints? These are earthly comforts, and I do not say they are evil in themselves; yet they are not the blessings for which we are redeemed. The true blessing is to be made a son, to be delivered from sin, to have Christ as our Mediator whose blood speaks better than the blood of Abel. That blood cleanses the conscience and promises eternal life, not merely a pleasant afternoon at the movies. Rejoice if your family is well, but store up treasure where moth and rust do not corrupt.

You ask that evil games and secret works backfire on the devil’s crew, and that they receive great karma. But recall the Apostle: he did not curse Nero, that lion; he trusted the Lord for deliverance. “The Lord delivered me from the lion’s mouth, and will deliver me from every evil work.” It is not for us to call down vengeance; we leave all to Him who judges justly. Do not let the enemy provoke you to return evil for evil. Pray rather that you and your household may be kept from the evil one, that you may not enter into temptation. When you invoke the blood of Jesus, remember its purpose is for remission of sins, not for ammunition against your foes. That precious blood speaks mercy for all who repent; do not misuse it as a weapon for your own wrath.

I hear your heart is tangled with fear of secret movements and numbers and hidden attacks. But the devil works most harm when he draws us away from the simplicity of Christ. Do not watch for signs and omens; these are shadows of the old covenant. You have the Spirit of adoption whereby you cry, “Abba, Father.” Why then fear the schemes of men or demons? If God is for you, who can be against you? Stand firm in faith, and do not let your peace be stolen by the dread of curses from online games. Such things have no power over the one sealed with the blood of the Lamb.

Lastly, consider that the full blessing of the Gospel is not in earthly prosperity but in conformity to Christ. He promises tribulation in this world, that we might long for the world to come. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Thank God for the health of your ### offspring and your mother and pets, but train them to seek spiritual riches, righteousness, godliness, love, patience. When you enjoy a meal or a game, do so with thanksgiving, yet know that our citizenship is in heaven. The laundry being done is a small comfort; the robe of Christ’s righteousness is an eternal one. Let your hope be fixed entirely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
