Humble Servant of All
Thank you Father fir spreading the gospel in Myanmar. In the Asian villages and towns and cities of myanmar where the military is very corrupt in that area under extremist attack like Africa and middle east where your churchs are also still spreading. So the end won't cone yet because these chirchs are still growing in India. Asian countries. Japan. Korea. Africa. Pakistan. And in many many places where the hospel message is still being preached. But we in our richer nations have become so fat and comfortable that we basically have no vigor. No feevent desire to help. We could if we weren't already consumed by our own anxieties and insecurities. Which we must remedy with steady prayer faith and worship.

We join you in thanking our Father for the way He is spreading the gospel in Myanmar and throughout Asia, in villages and towns and cities even where the military is corrupt and where extremist attacks threaten His people, just as in Africa and the Middle East. We praise God that His church is still growing and that the gospel is still being preached in India, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Africa and in many many places, for we know this is His plan and His promise that this Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come Matthew 24:14. We are encouraged that even under persecution the church advances, for all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution 2 Timothy 3:12, yet the gates of Hades will not prevail against His church Matthew 16:18.

We also hear your honest confession about those of us in richer nations who have become fat and comfortable, lacking vigor and fervent desire to help because we are consumed by our own anxieties and insecurities. We must take this to heart, for you have spoken truly. The Lord rebukes lukewarmness and warns us when we say we are rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing, and do not know that we are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked Revelation 3:17. We need remedy indeed through steady prayer, faith and worship, casting all our worries on Him, because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7, and being anxious in nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving letting our requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. And we are called to remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, and those who are ill-treated, since we are also in the body Hebrews 13:3.

We notice your prayer was addressed to the Father, and we want to gently remind us all that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by His blood and His name we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you know Him.

We pray together now in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Father, we thank You for every believer in Myanmar and in every Asian nation, in Africa and Pakistan and India and beyond who is faithfully proclaiming Your Son even under threat of corrupt authorities and extremist violence. We ask You to protect Your church, to strengthen pastors and evangelists and ordinary believers with courage, to provide for their daily needs and to let Your Word run and be glorified. We pray for justice where there is corruption and for the hearts of persecutors to be changed as Saul was changed. We pray for us in wealthier nations, forgive us for our complacency and anxiety, awaken us from slumber, restore to us a fervent love for You and for the harvest, for the harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest Matthew 9:38. Teach us to go and make disciples of all nations Matthew 28:19, to pray without ceasing and to worship You in spirit and truth, trusting You to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We appreciated reading your thanksgiving for how the gospel is still spreading in Myanmar and in villages and towns across Asia, India, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Africa and so many other places. It encourages us to hear you noticing God at work even where the military is corrupt and where churches face extremist pressure, and giving thanks instead of only grieving.

We also heard your honesty about those of us in richer nations. Feeling full and comfortable yet anxious and without vigor is a common struggle, and you named it plainly. You are right that the remedy is not a sudden burst of effort but steady, faithful worship and prayer.

One way we have found helpful to think about that steadiness is as training more than trying, like preparing for a long run. Small regular practices over time shape us more than intense moments that fade. If it would help, you might choose one simple rhythm you can keep, perhaps taking a few minutes at the same time each day to thank God for one of those growing churches and to pray for their safety and courage, and if possible sharing that burden with one other believer so you encourage each other.

Father, we thank You for Your church growing in Myanmar and in so many nations where Your name is being preached. We ask You to guard and strengthen believers facing corruption and attack, and to renew in us a quiet, steady faith and desire to help others, keeping our eyes on You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Thank you, have you considered donating to Global Christian Relief? It's a good charity that helps Christians getting persecuted in Africa, like Nigeria and other cities

We thank God with you for the spread of His gospel in ###, in its villages and towns and cities, and we join your intercession for the churches there that stand under a corrupt military and under extremist attack, even as our brethren are pressed in Africa and the Middle East. We praise Him that the end is not yet, for His Word still runs and is glorified in ### and across Asia, in ### and ###, in Africa and ###, and in many places where Christ is yet preached. This is cause for great thanksgiving, for where the gospel is preached, there is hope that sinners will be turned from the error of their ways.

You have spoken honestly concerning those of us in richer nations, that we have grown fat and comfortable and have little vigor, and that we are consumed by our own anxieties and insecurities. Know this, that anxiety has never comforted any man, nor has it ever brought grist to the mill or meal to the barrel. The very anxiety which comes through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. If our anxiety is confined to ourselves, and we only tell ourselves about it, no good will come of it. But if we tell the Lord about it and agonize before Him in prayer, that is right and profitable. Let us not restrain prayer before God, nor offer only surface prayer as a sacred masquerading, but let prayer be inwrought in the warp and woof of our being.

Therefore let us remedy our coldness with steady prayer and faith and worship, as you have said. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it is the very character of Christ's own prayer who ever liveth to make intercession, and it is exceedingly prevalent. It has stayed plagues and it will yet prevail if it has but time. Let us pray with importunity, saying, yet shall my prayer be in their calamities. And let us plead as ### pleaded, and as ### pleaded, Remember the Word unto Thy servant. We do not change the will of God by prayer, but our prayer is the shadow of a coming blessing, a reminding of our heavenly Father of His promises. For the church in ### and for all the persecuted flock, let us plead His faithful Word. And for ourselves in lands of ease, let our prayer be, Quicken me in Thy way, for we need to be quickened in private prayer and public prayer, in family devotion and in all forms of worship. Such a prayer is an index of life and God will hear it.

We will pray now. O Lord our God, remember Thy Word unto Thy servants. Keep Thy church in ### and in every place where she is oppressed and scattered. Guard Thy people from evil, strengthen the pastors and evangelists, and cause the gospel to run and be glorified though rulers be corrupt and enemies rage. Let not the light be put out in any village or city where Christ is named. And quicken us who dwell in comfort, forgive our sloth and our unbelief, take away our fretful anxiety and teach us to cast all our care upon Thee, for Thou carest for us. Make us fervent in intercession, faithful in worship, and hopeful in labor, that we may be made wise to win souls and fit instruments for Thy glory. Hear us for Jesus Christ's sake, our only Saviour, in whose name alone is salvation, Amen.
