I could use some prayer, I am unsure of what to ask for so I am going to tell my story although it may be long and I am sorry for that but I don't know where to start or what to ask for. Here is my story.... I got married to the love of my life I came to realize that I have always loved her from the day I met her back in Jr High in ###. although we never dated back then I still had feelings for her. When I moved on to High School we lost contact. We reconnected in ### via -banned site- and met up to talk and catch up on things. Our relationship blossomed from there and we got married in Aug of ###. We where very happy and got along great, then we started experiencing what I will call growing pains and neither of us know what to do so I looked to my friend and asked for help with our struggling marriage he agreed to help but my wife was not willing to do what was suggested as she feels that it is nobody's business what is going on between her and I. My friend suggested a couple of marriage books that deals with the problems we where having and also he suggested that we seek marriage counseling. well she would have nothing to do with any of that. then in March of this year I found out that she had started an affair. When I confronted her on that she blamed me for the affair and told me that she was moving out. so that led me to file for a legal separation, in her response she requested for a dissolution of marriage. I told her that I wanted a separation. when it came to the court date I did tell her and the judge that instead of prolonging the process I would grant her the divorce. This is where I am today I am divorced and I know that I do still love my Ex-wife with all my heart and I do very much so want to honor my vows to her and God by standing for what is right. I also know that she does still have feelings for me because they are evident when we talk. We still do talk about two to three times a week and I don't know why she still calls but she does and it is usually something small. and that surprised me the first time she called because when she left she said she didn't want to ever see me or hear from me again because just the thought of that would make her sick. I guess I am asking for prayer that The Lord of the universe will heal my wife's heart and mine so that He can bring us back together stronger than ever. I do know and feel that it is possible because with God ALL things are possible... At least that is what I read in Matthew. I know that we would have a lot of work to put things back together and to be able to trust again will be hard but I know that it isn't impossible. Thank-you for listening to me and for your prayer. If you feel the Lord's leading to send a note as well as praying I would welcome the advice..

Father God, Lord of the Universe and Creator of mankind. We come to you seeking your divine purpose in the life of this man and this woman. Search the heart of ### and see if there be any wicked in him that he can serve you in truth; minister to his inner man about pleasing you seeking your will in his life. Discipline his thoughts that he not lean on his own understanding but seek you in all things that you can direct his path; direct him in your holiness and righteousness that his path is perfect and he reach you. Use him as your instrument to minister to his x-wife that she not only see him but finds you to love on become your daughter. Make her the good thing you have called wives to be. Teach her to do this man of God no harm and to allow his trust to rest in her all the days of his life. Develop a maturity in them and appetite for you that they will grow quickly and cause glory and honor to the kingdom of heaven and your name will reign in all heaven and earth. In the name of Jesus, I pray, amen.

Let’s Pray…God I thank You that I can come to you about anything. I come lifting up my marriage to You. I place my marriage in Your hands. Knit us and our marriage together, rooted and grounded in Your Love Lord Jesus, so that nothing can destroy it. Bless and heal my marriage. Fix what is wrong in this marriage and make it right. Bless each of us to be totally committed to You and Your plan for our lives. Teach us how to pray and intercede for each other, our children, and loved ones. Let love, joy, peace, and faithfulness to You God and each other reign within the walls of our hearts and home. Give both of us patience and a great respect for each other. Help us; teach us how to be gentle, compassionate, courteous, and tenderhearted toward each other. Help us to remember what drew us to each other. Show us Lord Jesus how to keep Love strong and healthy in our marriage. Bless my marriage Lord Jesus. And please do the same for every married couple in my family, all my friends that are married, and the writer of this prayer. Bless our marriages.
