We join you in lifting you and your precious daughter before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, and we thank you for calling upon the only name by which we are saved and by which we have access to the Father. We hear the deep love you have for your daughter and the burden and fear you carry regarding your ex, his family, the CPS case, and the possibility of court, and we bring all of this to the Lord together.

We are encouraged that you desire to forgive those who have trespassed against you and to bless your enemies, for this is the heart of Christ. Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We also hear your prayer that lies and manipulation would be revealed and turned to good. We gently remind you that vengeance belongs to the Lord alone, as it is written in Romans 12:19, Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Our part is to walk in truth, humility, and love, and to trust God to be our defender and judge.

We pray for your protection and for truth to prevail in every conversation, every document, and every meeting with CPS and any authority. The Lord sees what is done in secret and He delights in truth. Proverbs 12:19 says, Truth’s lips will be established forever, but a lying tongue is only momentary. We encourage you to walk in complete honesty and transparency before God and before those authorities, cooperating with what is right and good, keeping careful and truthful records, and seeking wise and godly counsel from mature believers and your local church family who can support you and bear witness to your life as a mother. Children are a precious gift from God, as Psalm 127:3 says, Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward, and we pray you will be strengthened to be the loving, steady, Christ-centered mother God has called you to be.

We also hear your longing for a future husband and we affirm your desire for a man of faith. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman designed by God, and we pray that any future relationship would be a courtship with the clear goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ who will love you and your daughter as Christ loves the church. We encourage you in this waiting season to guard your heart and to pursue purity, for sex outside of marriage is fornication and falls short of God’s holy design, and God blesses obedience in this area. As 2 Corinthians 6:14 says, Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? So we will pray that if it is God’s will, He will bring a godly husband to you in His perfect timing, and until then that you would find your full security in Christ.

We hear the fear and anxiety in your prayer not to be separated from your daughter, and we gently rebuke the spirit of fear that would cause you to walk by sight and not by faith. God has not called us to be guided by fear or by the polluting words of others, but by His Spirit and His Word. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And 1 Peter 5:7 says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Philippians 4:6-7 also reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now for you, your daughter, and your situation.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You together for this mother and her daughter. We thank You that You are her refuge and fortress. As Psalm 91:1-2 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Cover them with Your presence today in every space they enter and make those spaces safe. Let Your light shine upon them and let their bond of love, nurtured by You, be evident to all.

Lord, we ask that no weapon formed against them would prevail, according to Your promise in Isaiah 54:17, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants. Hold the tongue of anyone who would speak lies, gossip, or slander to harm this mother or daughter, and let all lies and manipulation be exposed and turned to good for those who love You, for Romans 8:28 says, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Lord, melt and soften the heart of her ex and his family where there is hardness, bring conviction where there is wrongdoing, and bring peace where there is strife. Restrain any action that is not of You, including any unjust attempt to separate this mother and child through court, and let Your perfect will be done. Give this mother wisdom beyond her own understanding, guide her steps and her answers with CPS and in every document, so that she speaks truth with grace and clarity, and let no false written statement stand.

Father, bless her education and new field of work, grant her motivation, understanding, and favor, and let her not be put to shame but make a good impression for Your glory. Bless her future, and if it is Your will, in Your timing bring a godly man of faith to be her husband, a man who will lead the home in Christ and love her and her daughter well. Until then, keep her eyes fixed on You.

Holy Spirit, dwell richly in this mother and daughter today, let them feel Your presence in every part of their being, in their home, and in every person they meet. Let this mother be a vessel of Your love and salvation to everyone she encounters, let her daughter be kept in Your joy and held close to her mother’s love and to Your love, and let her be saved and grow in the knowledge of Jesus. Keep them in a bubble of Your peace and love, protected from all evil, and lead them on the right pathway with clarity, safety, and decisions that honor You. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and turn every evil intent into blessing for this little family. We trust You to take the wheel of their lives and to cover them with the blood of Jesus. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Your prayer as a mother for your child is heard before the Lord, and it is right and good that you bring every fear and every hope to Him who is our refuge. The Eternal God is our refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms, and He alone can be your dwelling place when foes rage and when the heart melts for heaviness.

There is a precious promise that He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, and this is heart cheer indeed. Yet that promise belongs to those who walk in the appointed ways of the Lord. We must not go away from our nest and act in willfulness or in direct opposition to the order of His providence, but first understand the way of the Lord and then run in it. Your safety and your daughter's safety are not in a bubble of your own making, but in nearness to Christ Himself. If you would triumph over darkness, set yourself in the presence of the Sun of Righteousness, for there is no place so well adapted for the discovery of sin and recovery from its power as the immediate presence of God.

You ask that lies and manipulation be revealed and that no weapon formed against you should prosper. It is wise to ask that truth be made plain, for the hail shall sweep away the refuges of lies. Every false confidence, every untrue habit, every shelter built on deceit will be tried by the cold hard truth of God falling from heaven. Therefore pray with the Psalmist, remove from me the way of lying, and walk in honesty before God, before those who have charge of your daughter's case, and before all who handle documents and testimony. Do not let false written statements stand if you can speak the truth in love, but leave vengeance and vindication to the Lord who lifts up the poor from the dunghill and casts down the mighty from their seats. Great truths which men forget will yet be made manifest, and God will not be mocked.

You ask for protection from slander and gossip. Remember that even the most strict and holy walking will never fully preserve you from the envenomed tongue of slander, but the Lord is your refuge in a thousand ways. When you feel unworthy of deliverance, that is the very reason to run to the God of grace. He knows how to afflict and how to deliver, and when He turns in grace to His people He comes flying on the wings of the wind to display His favor.

You ask to be a vessel for His salvation to everyone you meet. Know that the whole of your salvation lies in Jesus Christ and in Jesus Christ alone. Faith is but the cup, Christ is the fountain. We cannot be weaned from reliance upon our own feelings or prayers or good works, for the sacrifice of Christ alone possesses boundless efficacy to meet your need. He will release you from your sins if you believe in Jesus, and this release is followed by a non exacting of the penalty forever. If you are pardoned of God He will never exact punishment for your iniquities. Come to Calvary and be bound to the horned altar where His blood was shed, and do not wander from that blessed spot. There you will find forgiveness for those who have trespassed against you and for your own trespasses, and grace to bless your enemies and to pray that their hearts may be melted and their evil turned to good, as God is able to do.

You ask that you and your daughter may never be separated and that you may be the best mother you can be. Cherish her as a stewardship from the Lord, let her feel your love as an echo of His love, and teach her that to die forgiven and accepted in the Beloved is not to die but to depart unto the Father. Let her be kept in the way of truth and love, and pray daily that she may be saved by faith in Christ, for there is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved. Labor to love her not by fear and not by your own sight, but by being guided only by Him, that all your actions may bear fruit for her good.

You ask for guidance before those who oversee your daughter's case and for wisdom in your education and work. Ask the Lord to give you clarity, to guide your answers and your documents, to give you motivation and understanding, and to keep you from being put to shame. Do what is righteous and what is generous, and trust the Lord to order your steps. He knows how to send you full handed even out of seasons of bondage, giving from the flock and from the threshing floor.

You ask for a future husband, a man of faith, if it be His will. It is right to desire marriage as God ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, where love and living together belong within that holy bond. Pray that if it be the Lord's will He would in His perfect time bring such a godly man into your life, and meanwhile keep yourself in purity and in devotion to Christ and to your daughter, trusting His timing and not running before His providence.

Therefore do not give way to a slavish fear which dishonors the truthfulness and goodness and power of God. There is a loving fear which every true child has toward its Father, a fear of grieving so tender a Parent which makes us watch every footstep lest we deviate from obedience. May God graciously grant you much of this holy fear, and deliver you from all fear which would bring you into bondage.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look upon this mother and her dear child. Cover them with Your blood, keep them in all their ways, and let Your presence be felt in every part of their being and in every space they enter. Reveal truth and sweep away every refuge of lies, hold the tongue that would speak harm, and turn every evil intent into blessing according to Your sovereign grace. Give wisdom to those in authority, guide this mother's words and decisions, prosper her studies, and make her a faithful witness of salvation through Jesus Christ alone to all she meets. Melt hard hearts, forgive sins through the cross, cast out slavish fear, and let Your will be done. Keep this mother and daughter close to Yourself and, as You see fit, close to one another, and lead them in the right pathway for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

I pray that the Lord will cover you and your daughter with His protection and presence today and in the days to come.
