Do not give anyone any reason to take my daughter from me, Jesus, bless the persons I meet and talk to so they believe me and keep me safe. We join with you in calling upon the mighty name of Jesus for you and your precious daughter, and we thank you for anchoring every part of this prayer in His name, for there is no other name by which we are saved and no other way to the Father. As it is written, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you are seeking Him to be present, to guide, and to keep you from harm.

We hear the burden on your heart as a mother who loves her daughter deeply and who is carrying fear about your ex, his family, the words spoken against you, and the involvement of CPS and possible court action. The Lord sees you and your child, and He is a defender of mothers and children. A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation Psalm 68:5. Jesus Himself said, Allow the little children to come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these Matthew 19:14. Your desire to be the best mother you can be, to keep your daughter in focus, to love her as Christ loves her, and to be a vessel of His light to everyone you meet is beautiful and honors God.

We want to encourage you to release the fear that is pressing on your heart and to trust fully in the Lord's sovereignty over every meeting, every conversation, and every document. It is right to pray for protection from lies, manipulation, slander and gossip, and for truth to be revealed, for Truth's lips will be established forever, but a lying tongue is only momentary Proverbs 12:19. We pray with you that no lie will stand and that every false word will be exposed in God's perfect timing. At the same time we encourage you to walk in complete truthfulness and integrity before God and before those in authority, so that even if you are spoken against, your conduct will glorify God. Having a good conscience; that, while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be disappointed who curse your good way of life in Christ 1 Peter 3:16. When you answer CPS and fill out documents, do so with honesty and grace, putting away falsehood and speaking truth Ephesians 4:25, trusting that God is your advocate when you walk in truth.

We also hear your prayer that no weapon formed against you would prosper, and we cling to that promise with you. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul Psalm 121:7. We pray that you will not be polluted by evil tongues or walk by fear and by your own sight, but that you will lean wholly on Him. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, so we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that would seek to control your heart and mind, and we ask the Lord to replace it with His perfect peace which surpasses all understanding.

We love your heart to forgive those who have trespassed against you and to even bless your enemies and pray for their hearts to be melted. That is Christlike. We pray with you that your ex and any others who have sought to harm you would be convicted, softened, and turned toward repentance, and that if it is God's will, the need for court would be removed. Yet we also pray that God's will be done above all, and that you would have grace to accept His leading even if the path includes difficult steps, knowing that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We also lift up your prayer for a future husband. We affirm your desire for a man of faith, and we pray with you for a godly marriage if it is the Lord's will. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman designed by God, and we pray that any courtship you enter would be with a Christian believer with the clear goal of marriage that honors Christ. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14, and Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We pray the Lord will guard your heart from rushing or from relationships outside His design, and that He will bring the right spouse in His perfect timing if that is His plan for you and your daughter.

We pray for your education and daily work as you carry so many burdens at once, that God would give you strength, motivation, understanding and favor, and that whatever you do, you would work heartily, as for the Lord Colossians 3:23.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You for this dear mother and her daughter. Lord, we ask You to bless them today with Your love, joy, grace, peace, safety and abiding presence. Cover them with Your blood and let them dwell in Your secret place. Let every space they enter today be a safe space filled with Your light. We ask that You guide every word they speak and every person they meet, give them favor, and let truth prevail over every lie and manipulation. Reveal what is hidden, hold back every tongue that would speak harm, and turn every evil intent into blessing for this mother and child. Melt the heart of her ex and his family, bring conviction and understanding of how their actions affect this mother and daughter, and if it is Your will, prevent any court action that would separate them. Lord, keep this mother and daughter close and together, show her the next steps she should take and give her clarity, wisdom and courage to walk only in Your will. Send godly people to bless their lives and give her discernment to know who is from You. Help her to walk not by fear but by faith, trusting You with all her heart. We cast all her anxiety on You because You care for her 1 Peter 5:7, and we ask for Your peace to guard her heart and mind Philippians 4:6-7. Bless her as a mother, help her to love her daughter as You love her, let her daughter feel deeply loved, safe and cherished, and let her feel Your presence in her being, her surroundings and every person around her. Save her, Lord, hold her heart and let no weapon formed against either of them prosper. Bless and guide her interactions with CPS, give wisdom to the workers handling the case, guide her answers and every document, let truth be established and let no false statement stand. Bless her studies, give her understanding, strength and a good testimony in her new field, and let her not be put to shame. Protect her from slander and gossip. And Father, if it is Your will, prepare and bring a godly husband of faith for her in Your timing, a man who will love You and love her and her daughter as Christ loves the church. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and make this mother a vessel of Your salvation to everyone she meets today. We trust Your perfect will to be done, and we ask that You stay with them, shine Your light upon them, and keep them in a bubble of Your love where no evil can prevail. One steady step that can help right now is not to carry the paperwork and conversations alone. If you can, ask one trusted, clear-headed person, a pastor, mentor, or legal aid advocate, to look over any CPS forms or responses with you before you send them. Keeping brief, dated notes of conversations and decisions can also bring calm and clarity when anxiety is high and helps others see what is true. When your daughter is home, give yourself permission to simply be present with her in ordinary moments, that steady attention is itself a gift to her.

Father, we lift this mother and her daughter to You in Jesus' name. Surround them with Your presence and peace today, guide her in each decision, and let truth be seen clearly by those reviewing her case. Your prayer has been brought before the Lord with care and we join you in lifting your voice to Him who hears the cries of His people.

The Eternal God is thy refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms. When fear presses upon the heart as it did upon Jacob who cried, Deliver me lest he come and smite me and the mother with the children, the answer of faith is to lay hold upon what God has said. He has said, I will surely do thee good, and His word cannot fail. To get away from man and to nestle beneath the wings of God is to exchange doubt for certainty and fear for confidence. He is the God of thy mercy who goes before thee, and His mysterious angelic agency forms a cordon round thee to protect thee in the midst of trial, for it is written, He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways.

We pray with you that the Lord will be thy keeper and the keeper of thy daughter. That He will cover you both under His wings, keep you from harm, and give thee wisdom for every step, every answer, and every document set before thee. We ask that truth may be made plain and that what is false and built upon manipulation may be swept away, for the hail shall sweep away the refuges of lies and only what is built upon the foundation which God has laid in Christ Jesus shall stand. We pray that the Lord will remove from all lips the way of lying and establish thy cause in righteousness, and that those who speak against thee without cause may be brought to see the truth.

We pray that thou mayest walk in the appointed ways of the Lord, not in willfulness but in humble obedience, for there is no place so well adapted for the discovery of sin and recovery from its power as the immediate presence of God. Get into God's arms and thou shalt find strength to stand and grace to love thy daughter well. Thou hast asked to be the best mother thou canst be, keeping her in focus and letting her feel thy love. The Scripture holds up Sarah who judged Him faithful who had promised, and calls her daughters those who do well in faith. As thou trustest Him, He will help thee to do well, to be serene in the secret place of the Most High, and to commune with God until fear is forgotten.

We join thee in asking forgiveness for trespasses and grace to forgive those who have trespassed against thee, that thy heart may not be polluted by bitter words but kept tender before the Lord. We pray that thy daughter may be kept from all evil, that she may feel the love of her mother and far more the love of Christ, and that she may early come to know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. We pray that thou mayest indeed be a vessel for Him, speaking His truth in love to all thou meetest.

Concerning what lies ahead, we pray that the Lord will guide thy steps, bless thy studies, give thee diligence and understanding in thy new field, and keep thee from shame and from slander. We ask that He will give wisdom to those who handle thy daughter's case, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper in the sense that no purpose of the enemy shall finally prevail against those who are kept in Christ, and that His will which is holy and good may be done.

And as thou hast prayed for a future husband, we pray with thee that if it be the Lord's will He will in His time bring to thee a man of faith to enter with thee into holy marriage according to His design, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, lived to the glory of God. We ask that He will keep thee pure and patient, leaning not upon thine own understanding but in all thy ways acknowledging Him, that He may direct thy paths.

May the God of thy mercy prevent thee, going before thee and coming after thee, keeping thee and thy child in perfect peace as ye trust in Him.
