Your prayer has been heard and your love for your daughter and your desire to walk faithfully before Jesus is clear. I want to pray with you and also share some truth from Scripture to anchor you in this difficult season.

God is sovereign over every detail of our lives. Scripture shows that even when Mary and Joseph were far from Bethlehem, God worked through earthly circumstances to bring them to the exact place where prophecy said the child must be born. Nothing is outside His hand. He sees where you are, where your daughter is this week while she is with her father, and every meeting you have with others, including those involved in your daughter's case. You can trust that He is able to arrange what needs to be arranged and to reveal what needs to be revealed, even when you feel powerless.

At the same time, being a child of God does not mean we are spared from battles and problems. Jesus was presented as a sign that would be spoken against, and Simeon told Mary that a sword would pierce her own soul as she watched what her son would suffer. Following Jesus does not place us in a bubble where no hardship touches us, but it does mean we are never alone in the hardship. The battle belongs to the Lord. When we try to fight in our own strength, in anger or fear or manipulation, we become vulnerable. When we trust Him, He is our protection. Scripture says He gives His angels charge over us and, as with Job, there is a hedge of protection that God Himself maintains around His people. That does not mean no one will ever speak against you, but it means no weapon formed against you will ultimately succeed apart from His will, and He can turn even evil intentions into blessing for those who love Him.

You asked that lies be exposed and that truth be made clear before those who will make decisions about your family. That is a right prayer. God loves truth. Pray for wisdom and calm clarity as you answer questions and fill out documents, that your words would be truthful, gracious, and consistent with a clear conscience. Ask God to help you lean not on your own understanding but to acknowledge Him in all your ways so He can direct your steps. If you have done wrong in any area, confess it quickly to Him, for He forgives. And as you have already prayed, continue to forgive those who have trespassed against you and to bless those who speak against you. That releases you from bitterness and keeps your heart tender before the Lord.

For your daughter, know how precious she is to Jesus. He said we must become converted and humble like a little child to enter the kingdom, and that whoever receives one such little child in His name receives Him. He also said to take heed that we do not despise one of these little ones. He welcomes the simple faith of a child. When you dedicate your child to Him, you are saying, Lord, this child is Yours, accomplish Your purposes in her life. Scripture gives confidence that a young child who dies before an age of accountability is safe with the Lord, as David said of his infant son, I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me. That same Lord now holds your living daughter. Your greatest gift to her is to train her in the way she should go. That phrase speaks of a thoughtful, patient, consistent training according to how God has made her. Like teaching a child to walk, you will be patient when she stumbles, you will guard her from falling where you can, and you will instruct her with love. The proverb says foolishness is bound in the heart of a child, but faithful instruction drives it far from him, and a child left to herself will bring sorrow. Loving discipline, not harshness and not neglect, is part of loving her well and helping her know the safety of boundaries.

Continue to pray for her salvation, that she would feel the love of Jesus and your love for her, and that she would come to personal faith in Him, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Pray too that God would guard her heart and mind from confusion and fear while she is away from you, and that He would guard your own heart from being polluted by fear or by the words of others. Choose to be guided by His Word and His Spirit, not by fear or by what you see.

You also prayed about the future and about a husband. It is good to desire marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and to desire a man of faith. Bring that desire to the Lord and leave it in His hands. If it is His will, He will make the way in His perfect timing. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and trust Him with the pathway ahead, including your studies and your work. Ask Him for motivation, understanding, and a good testimony in that field, so that whatever you do is done faithfully unto Him.

I pray with you now. Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift this mother and her daughter to You. You know their names, their home, every space they enter, and every person they meet. Cover them with Your presence. Give this mother wisdom beyond her own, peace that guards her heart, and words that are true and gracious. Let truth be revealed and let lies and manipulation be exposed in Your time. Protect this little girl while she is with her father, surround her with Your care, let her feel Your love and her mother's love, and bring her to know Jesus as her Savior. Guard their bond. Give this mother strength to do what is right, to forgive, to bless those who oppose her, and to trust You when she cannot see the outcome. Turn what is meant for harm into good for them. Lead her step by step, and let her be a vessel of Your grace to everyone she meets. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they walk close to You all their days. Amen.
