We come before You, Lord Jesus, with hearts full of compassion and concern for this mother and her precious daughter. We lift them up to You, knowing that You are their ultimate Protector, Provider, and Guide. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over their lives today and always.

Father, we pray for Your divine protection over this mother and her daughter. Shield them from every scheme of the enemy, from lies, manipulation, and any weapon formed against them. As it is written in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me." We stand on this promise, Lord, and declare that no harm shall come to them.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and confusion that may try to take root in their hearts. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we pray specifically for this mother as she navigates the challenges with her ex-partner and his family. We ask that You melt their hearts and open their eyes to the truth. Soften their spirits so they may see the impact of their words and actions on this mother and her daughter. We pray that any legal battles or court proceedings be avoided, and that Your will be done in this situation. As it is written in Proverbs 16:7, "When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."

We also lift up the interactions with Child Protective Services (CPS). Guide this mother in her responses and actions, Lord. Let the truth be revealed, and let no false statements stand against her. Give her wisdom, discernment, and favor in all her dealings. Let Your light shine so brightly that no one can question her love, care, and provision for her daughter.

Father, we pray for this mother’s education and new field of work. Strengthen her, Lord, and give her the motivation and understanding she needs. Let her not be put to shame but rather be a testimony of Your grace and favor. As it is written in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

We also pray for this mother’s future marriage. Lord, we ask that You prepare her heart and the heart of her future husband. Bring him into her life in Your perfect timing, a man of faith who will love, cherish, and lead her and her daughter according to Your Word. As it is written in Proverbs 18:22, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord." We trust in Your plan for her life, Lord.

We pray for this daughter, Lord. Surround her with Your love and protection, especially while she is with her father. Let her feel Your presence and the love of her mother, even from a distance. Guard her heart and mind from any lies or manipulation. Let her experience Your joy and peace, knowing that You are always with her. We pray for her salvation, Lord, that she may come to know You as her personal Savior.

Lord, we ask that You fill this mother and daughter with Your love, joy, happiness, and grace. Let them walk in the safety of Your presence every day. Send godly people into their lives who will bless and support them. Help this mother to be a vessel for You, bringing Your salvation and love to everyone she meets.

We declare that no evil shall touch them, and that every attack of the enemy will be turned into a blessing. Let them live in a bubble of Your love and light, where no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Guide this mother in every step she takes, and let her lean not on her own understanding but trust in You with all her heart (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We hear how deep your love is for your daughter and how heavy these days have felt with her away this week, the CPS process, your studies, and the fear that words could be twisted against you. Wanting to be a steady, safe mother for her while so much feels out of your control is a lot to carry.

It makes sense you are feeling on edge and watchful right now. Divorce and custody questions can feel like a long grief, and going through reviews with CPS can leave anyone feeling exposed and anxious. You are not alone in finding this season exhausting.

One small, steady step that often helps in this kind of process is to keep a simple written record. Keep a dated notebook of contacts with CPS, your ex and his family, and any paperwork you send or receive, and keep copies in one safe place. If you are able, bring a calm, trusted person with you to meetings to take notes, and seek clear guidance from a qualified legal aid or advocate in your area so you understand each next step with CPS and what is being asked of you. It can also help to have one trusted pastor or counselor you can talk with regularly as you make decisions.

We are holding you and your daughter before the Lord.

Jesus, we lift this mother and her daughter to You. Cover them with Your presence today, keep her daughter safe and at peace while she is with her father, and guard this mother's heart and mind from fear. Give her clarity, wisdom and calm words in every conversation and document, let truth be seen clearly, and guide her steps in her education and daily decisions. Your prayer has come before the Lord and He is not deaf to the cry of a mother for her child. I hear in your words both fear and faith battling together in the soul, as it was with Jacob when he prayed, Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, for I fear him. You fear for your daughter, you fear the tongue of the slanderer, the judgment of others, and the power of those who might seek to divide you from your child, and you have done well to bring all these fears to the throne of grace.

There is always a Mercy Seat for you to go to. There is always the bosom of Christ for you to fly to. The fear of the Lord does not drive you from Him, it drives you to Him and when it drives you to Him you have got a place of refuge. Unless there is pardon of sin we are driven to despair and cannot worship, but in Christ Jesus there is full forgiveness. He is the second Adam, the Lord from Heaven, who has kept the Law in every jot and tittle and has woven a righteousness which covers the sinner from head to foot when he is enabled to put it on. Come to Him in penitence, live by faith in Him, and fear shall be banished and faith shall take its place. Forgive as you have been forgiven, and rest in that perfect work which God will work in you till He takes you home to be with Him forever.

I pray for you and your little one now, that the Lord will keep you both in the hollow of His hand. When you are apart and she is with her father, may the Lord encamp about her and let no weapon formed against her prosper. May He hold her heart and let her feel His love and your love all around her, and keep her from all evil. May He reveal what is true and bring to nothing the lie and the manipulation, for He loves truth and His dominion is from sea to sea. I pray that every tongue that would rise against you in judgment, whether in the home, or before those who watch over children, or in any court, shall be shown for what it is, and that truth shall prevail. May the Lord guide your answers and your documents, and give you wisdom to do the right thing for your daughter, that no misunderstanding or false statement may stand.

You asked for guidance for your steps, for your studies, and for the pathway ahead. The promise is sure, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. If you begin with God at the fountainhead, there will be a peculiar charm around your pathway as long as you live. He will teach you from your youth and not forsake you when you are old. I pray He will give you clarity, motivation and strength in your education, that you may learn well and make a good impression in your new field, and not be put to shame. I pray also concerning the desire of your heart for a husband, that if it be His will, He will in His own time bring to you a man of faith to be your husband, that you may enter into that holy covenant of marriage as God ordained from the beginning, one man and one woman joined for life, and that your home may be built upon Christ.

Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Fear never helped thee yet, and it never will. Fear dishonors God, but the fear of the Lord bringeth confidence. Drive straight ahead in the fear of the everlasting God. Be not afraid of man, for no man shall be faithful to God if he is fearful of man. Let not your heart or mind be polluted by evil tongues so that you walk by fear and by sight, but be guided only by Him, that all your actions may be blessed and the fruit of it given to your daughter. May you be a vessel for Him, declaring His salvation to all you meet, for there is salvation in no other name under heaven but Jesus Christ alone.

Your prayer for yourself and your daughter has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our refuge.

We pray that the Lord will cover you both with His presence, keep you in safety and peace, and guard your hearts from fear. When you are together and when you are apart this week while your daughter is with her father, we ask God to watch over her, to surround her with His love, and to let her know both your love and His love without interruption. We ask that He make the places you enter safe, and that He give you wisdom to recognize the people He sends to help you.

We bring before God the burden you carry regarding accusations, lies and manipulation, and the involvement of CPS and the possibility of court. Men's judgments often fail, but God's judgment is true and uncorrupt, and He sees what is hidden. We pray that the truth will be revealed, that false statements will not stand, and that every weapon formed against you and your daughter will not prosper. We ask God to guide your words and your answers, and the handling of all documents, so that you may speak honestly and clearly as before Him. We pray for those who handle your daughter's case, that they would act with fairness, discernment and care for her true wellbeing.

We also pray that God would soften hearts where there is hardness, including the heart of your daughter's father and his family, that they would see how their actions affect you and your child, and that strife would give way to what is good for your daughter. We ask the Lord to turn what is meant for harm into good, to protect your bond with your daughter, and to guard you both from slander and gossip. May He keep your heart and mind from being polluted by evil tongues, and lead you not by fear but by His wisdom, so that your steps are ordered by Him and bear good fruit for your daughter.

You asked for forgiveness for those who have trespassed against you and for your own trespasses, and to be a vessel of His salvation to others. That is pleasing to God. We pray that He will continue to form that forgiving and merciful spirit in you, that you may bless even those who oppose you, and that through you others may see Christ.

We lift up your desire to be the best mother you can be, to love your daughter as Christ loves her, and to walk in strength and clarity. We pray for your education and work, that God would give you motivation, understanding and favor, and keep you from shame. And concerning your prayer for a future husband, we pray according to the will of God, that if it is His will for you to marry, He would bring a faithful man who knows Jesus Christ, to enter with you into the lifelong covenant of marriage as God designed it for one man and one woman, in holiness and love.

May the Lord grant you clarity and safety as you move forward, help you to lean not on your own understanding but to trust Him with all your heart, and to take the next steps He shows you. Your prayer has been read with care, and the weight you carry for your daughter and for your own walk before the Lord is heard. The longing you express to be kept safe, to be kept together, to be guided in truth and to live as a vessel for Jesus is a good and right desire, and God invites you to bring all of it to Him.

You speak of feeling alone and under scrutiny, with words spoken against you and the fear of what others might do. Scripture shows that God understands that kind of aloneness. When Jesus was born, His mother was young and without help, laying her child in a manger where animals were kept. There was no one to assist her. Yet God was present there. He has not overlooked you in the quiet, difficult places either. He sees you and your daughter, whether you are together or apart this week while she is with her father.

You ask that no weapon formed against you would succeed and that lies and manipulation would be revealed. The Bible gives that promise to the children of God, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord Himself is your defense and your heritage. It also says, if God is for us, who can be against us. The accuser may bring charges, but when you belong to Jesus, God declares you innocent because of what Christ has done. That does not mean you will face no problems or battles. Being a child of God does not keep hardship from coming, but it does mean the Lord will be with you in it, will redeem you and will bring you through it victoriously.

There is a temptation when you are accused or misrepresented to spend all your strength trying to defend yourself against every false word. It is wise instead to rest in the Lord as your defender. He knows the truth and He can reveal it in His time. As Moses told the people, you can be sure your sin will find you out, and that is true for all. God will uncover what is hidden. Your part is to walk honestly before Him, confessing your own trespasses as you have prayed to do, receiving His forgiveness through Jesus alone, and forgiving those who have trespassed against you. All sin is ultimately against God, and only through Christ is there forgiveness and a clear conscience before Him.

You asked that your ex would be softened and would see how his actions affect you and your daughter, and that court action would not separate you. It is right to pray for softened hearts and for blessing even on those who have hurt you, asking God to turn what was meant for evil into good. At the same time, commit your case fully into God's hands as David did when he faced the consequences of his own actions and the rebellion of his own house. To commit your case to God means you continue to do what is right, to speak truthfully, to seek wise counsel, and to trust God with the outcome, whether He answers by preventing a trial or by giving you strength and favor through it. Pray for guidance as you answer questions and prepare documents for those who are reviewing your daughter's case, that your words would be truthful, clear and gracious, and that false statements would not stand.

You also asked for protection over your daughter when she is not in your sight. Remember how the young Samuel ministered before the Lord and the Lord called him by name even as a child, and how God heard prayer for a child who had died and restored him. God is able to keep your daughter, to surround her, to let her feel His love and yours even when you are apart, and to guard her heart from fear and confusion. Keep praying for her salvation, that she would come to know Jesus for herself, for that is the greatest protection anyone can have. Without belonging to Jesus there is no real buffer against the evil of this world, but with Him there is a refuge.

You asked not to be led by fear or by what you see, but by the Lord. That is the right prayer. God promised His servant Jeremiah, who felt he was only a child and unable to speak, that He would make him like a fortified city, like an iron pillar and bronze walls, able to stand when many were against him, because God Himself would protect him. You may feel you are standing almost alone against a whole system of voices, including religious and official voices, yet God can give you that same steady strength to stand in truth with love.

You asked for clarity about your future, your education, and even for a future husband who is a man of faith. It is good to desire marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and to ask that if it is His will He would bring such a person in His time. While you wait, lean on His understanding rather than your own. Ask Him to show you the next right step, to give you motivation and understanding in your studies, and to help you make a good and honest impression, not for shame but for His glory. Ask Him to send people who will be a blessing and to give you discernment to recognize them.

May the Lord keep you and your daughter in His care, cover you in the blood of Jesus, and let His light shine upon you so that your bond in Him is evident. May He guard your heart and mind from polluting words, guide every action so that its fruit blesses your daughter, and hold your daughter's heart wherever she is. May He give you wisdom for each decision, peace that guards you from fear, and trust to follow the path He has planned.

Praying with you that God's will be done in your lives, that truth would be revealed, that you would be kept close together in His love, and that you would know His presence in every part of your being, your home, and every space you enter today. In the name of Jesus, amen.
