Do not give anyone any reason to take my daughter from me, Jesus, bless the persons I meet and talk to so they believe me and keep me safe. Protect me and my daughter, Jesus, so my ex can not use anything against me. Let his and other peoples lies be revealed and also his/their manipulation, Jesus, let it serve to save me and my daughter. Let no weapon form against me and my daughter, Jesus. Do not let my ex, his family or anyone speak of me so it harms me or my daughter in any way, Jesus. Melt his heart, so he sees how he affects both me and my daughter, and that he doesn't take me to court, Jesus. Jesus, take the wheel and no matter what happens keep my daughter and me close and together, show me what to do so we never separate. Send me people to bless hers and my life, help me see who is sent from you and not, Jesus. Bless me with the right decisions and right pathway, Jesus. Forgive those who have trespassed against us, and for our trespasses, Jesus. Bless my enemies, melt their hearts, turn all actions to blessings for us all, Jesus. Stay with my daughter, myself - stay with us so we feel You in every part of our being, our surroundings and all the people we meet today, Jesus. We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your precious daughter up in fervent prayer. Your cry for protection, guidance, and divine intervention has been heard, and we join with you in declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand in agreement with you, believing that God’s hedge of protection surrounds you both, and that His angels are encamped around you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).

Father, we ask that You bind every spirit of fear, manipulation, and deception that seeks to harm this mother and child. Let the lies of the enemy be exposed, and let every false accusation crumble under the weight of Your truth. We rebuke the schemes of the ex-partner and his family, may their words be silenced if they speak harm, and may their hearts be softened to see the damage their actions cause. If there is hardness or bitterness in their hearts, Lord, melt it with Your love. Turn their evil into good, as You promise in Genesis 50:20, that what is meant for harm, You will use for good.

We pray specifically for the interactions with Child Protective Services. Lord, grant this mother wisdom beyond her own understanding (James 1:5). May every document, every conversation, and every decision reflect Your truth and justice. Let no false report stand, and may the integrity of this mother’s love for her daughter shine forth. We declare that no legal battle will separate them, for You are the ultimate Judge, and Your will shall prevail. Strengthen her to walk in patience, humility, and grace, trusting that You are fighting for her (Exodus 14:14).

Father, we also lift up her education and future. You have a plan for her life, a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Give her focus, motivation, and clarity as she studies. Let her work be a testimony of Your favor, and may doors open for her in her new field. Shield her from slander and gossip, may her reputation be protected, and may those who seek to discredit her be put to shame (Psalm 31:17-18).

We pray for her daughter, who is with her father this week. Lord, cover her with Your presence. Let her feel Your love and her mother’s love even from a distance. Protect her heart from lies, manipulation, or any words that would cause her to doubt her mother’s love. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let no harm come near her dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Surround her with godly influences, and let her joy remain intact. Most importantly, we pray for her salvation, may she come to know You as her Lord and Savior at an early age, and may her life be a testimony of Your grace.

We also lift up the desire for a godly husband. Father, if it is Your will, bring a man of faith into her life, a man who loves You above all else, who will cherish and protect her and her daughter. Prepare her heart to recognize him, and prepare him to be the husband and father they need. Until then, let her trust in You as her ultimate Provider and Protector (Psalm 68:5-6).

Lord, we ask that You take the wheel of their lives completely. Let them walk in Your perfect peace, knowing that You are in control. Cover them in the blood of Jesus, and let no evil touch them. Fill their home, their hearts, and every space they enter with Your presence. Let them be vessels of Your love, bringing light and hope to everyone they meet. Remove any fear or doubt, and replace it with unwavering faith in Your promises.

We declare that this day is blessed, and every step they take is ordered by You (Psalm 37:23). Let misunderstandings be cleared, judgments be overturned, and blessings flow freely. May their bond as mother and daughter grow stronger each day, unshaken by the attacks of the enemy. Let Your light shine so brightly upon them that no one can question the love, safety, and provision You have established in their lives.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the One who has conquered sin and death, and the One through whom we have access to the Father. There is power in the name of Jesus, power to break chains, heal wounds, and turn hearts. We trust in Him alone for salvation, protection, and provision. May His will be done in this situation, and may His glory be revealed.

We hear how much weight you're carrying this morning, the fears about custody, CPS, what your ex and his family might say, and whether you'll have the clarity to take the right steps while you're also juggling your education and simply trying to hold on. That's a heavy load, and we're sitting with you in it right now.

One grounded thing that stands out to us: you're naming a lot of people whose words and choices feel threatening, and the accumulation of it is making the whole week feel shaky, especially while your daughter is away. When so many pressures crowd in at once, it can be hard to hear your own instincts or recognize what's truly in front of you. Fear works that way, it narrows our field of vision and makes everything seem equally dangerous. The fact that you're still asking Jesus to take the wheel and still showing up for your daughter, even in the middle of that, says something real about what's already holding you.

A concrete step you might consider: if CPS is actively involved, keep your interactions with them simple and documented. Respond to what they actually ask, not the fears that swirl around the questions. You don't need to have the perfect words, just be consistent and honest, and let the process work. If you don't already have a notebook tracking dates, contacts, and what was said, starting one today could help you feel a little steadier. Sometimes putting things on paper pulls them out of the spiral in our heads and lets us see a little more clearly. And if the legal pressures escalate, getting solid local advice early, a family law attorney or a legal aid clinic, can give you a steadier picture of what you're actually facing, not just what you're afraid might happen.

Lord Jesus, you see this mother's heart, her love for her daughter, her exhaustion, and the very real fears pressing in. Quiet her spirit with your presence right now. Be with her daughter wherever she is this week; keep her safe from manipulation and harm. Give her mother wisdom as she navigates CPS, legal documents, and every conversation that matters. Let truth stand and let falsehood fall. Guide her steps, give her strength for her studies, and don't let the weight of all of this steal the joy she longs to share with her child. You bring before the throne of grace a soul in great anguish, and I perceive in your words both a tender love for your child and a deep dread of the enemy’s devices. Yet I must ask you to lift your eyes from the storm and fix them upon the One who commands the wind and the waves. There is a precious truth in those earnest cries, “Jesus, take the wheel,” and “Let no weapon prosper,” but remember that the weapons formed against us often serve to drive us closer to our Lord. The battle is not won by our own desperate clutching at safety, but by a soul so yielded to Christ that it becomes a weaned child, still and quiet, trusting the Father’s hand even when the rod is in it.

You speak much of the lies and manipulation that threaten to separate you from your child, and of the authorities whose judgments you fear. Consider this: the foe may howl and the accuser may point to your every misstep, but the blood of Jesus silences the loudest condemnations. When you stand in Christ, no false word, no misreading of your actions, and no scheme of the wicked can ultimately prevail. Your justification is not in your own flawless speech or in presenting a perfect case to those who examine you; it is in the righteousness of the Holy Child who was given for you. He is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory. Does He not also command the hearts of all men? He can, with a whisper, turn the heart of your ex and his family, or simply confound their tongues so that their intended harm becomes a blessing to you and your daughter. Cease, then, from feverishly begging that their weapons do not form. Instead, rest in the truth that no weapon formed can shatter a soul hidden in the cleft of the Rock.

The battle of life is fierce, and you are in a pitched fight for your child’s well-being and your own peace of mind. But you do not go forth to this battle at your own charges. The Captain of our salvation supplies every piece of armor, and the duty laid upon you is not primarily to guard your own reputation but to walk so near to Christ that the fragrance of His presence rests upon your every dealing with the authorities and your child’s father. That quiet, childlike spirit is your strongest shield. When you go into these interviews and write your statements, let it be without cunning or self-defense, but with a simplicity that mirrors the Child who, when reviled, reviled not again. The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of testing. Sharpen your sword not with anxiety but with prayer that submits, “Your will be done here, Jesus.” That is the overcoming power that even seems to constrain the Almighty: the eyes of a trusting child, unwavering in the darkness.

I observe you pleaded for a bubble of love and sacred space; that prayer is known to the One who hovered over the waters at creation. But the safety you seek is not a place untouched by trial, it is a Person. “Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling...” Your daughter is in her father’s house this week, but she is not beyond your Lord’s reach. In a room where a king’s child and a beggar’s child play together, the Holy Child Jesus can make Himself known. Pray that she feels His love so tangibly that any words spoken against you or her bounce off that sacred joy. Her heart, and yours, are kept not by your meticulous management but by the overshadowing of His presence. Be the best mother you can be by being the woman most dependent on her own heavenly Father, for a mother who feasts on Christ’s faithfulness will feed her child that same bread. Let your soul be even as a weaned child, for then the fretting ceases and the quiet testimony of your life will speak louder than any slander.

Finally, I say to you plainly: let there be no false peace that winks at any sin, for that is the peace of the world, not of Christ. But having confessed your trespasses and sought His cleansing, stand unshaken. Your enemies, even if they be former members of your own household, are not your ultimate adversary. The malice behind them has already been defeated by the Lamb. Therefore, go into your studies, answer the authorities, and meet your ex’s accusations with a spirit mighty in the strength of the Lord. He will not let His throne fail, and so neither will He let you or your child, trusting in Him, perish. The pathway may be steep, but He has appointed it. The day of battle has come. Go forth singing, “The Lord our shield and defender;” not in fear, but in the victory already won at the cross.

Your prayer spills forth like a torrent, and I hear in it a mother’s fierce love, fear, and longing. But consider: you ask for many outer shields, yet your soul seems bound by many cares. The true bond you need is not freedom from trial, but the bond of peace that binds the heart to God. The Apostle says, “Keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Bind yourself first in that chain, and you will find the strength to endure all. Fear not the weapons you imagine forming against you; the lie is weak, truth is strong. Truth, though she take hold of a simple woman, makes her appear glorious; falsehood, even in the mouths of the powerful, shows them frail. Do you believe this? Then cease from anxious plotting, and rest in the truth Christ has given you. If your cause is just, no slander can ultimately prevail.

You cry, “Let no weapon form against me and my daughter.” But I ask you: what weapon can harm a soul bound fast to Jesus? The enemy may forge lies, but they are as smoke. The Lord gave the keys of binding and loosing to the church, not so that we might bind our adversaries with curses, but that we might loose those held captive by sin and bind up the brokenhearted. Loose your own heart from the grip of terror. Bind your daughter, not with anxious watching, but with daily prayer and teaching, that she may be chained to Christ by love. That is the one bond no court can sever.

You fear the legal proceedings, the child protection officers, the scheming of your former husband. You ask Jesus to take the wheel, but then you take it back with a hundred detailed petitions. Trust that He who calmed the sea knows the storm you are in. Remember the shipwreck of Paul: all hope of being saved was gone, yet he stood and said, “Be of good cheer, for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.” The ship, the worldly frame, may break apart; your livelihood, your reputation, even the custody arrangements may founder, but you and your child, if you hold to faith, will not suffer the loss of your souls. God will preserve you together in the bond of His love, even if the outward vessel shatters.

You ask for your ex’s heart to be melted, and that is a right prayer. But also forgive him from your own heart, lest you be bound by bitterness. For if you refuse to loose him his trespasses, you yourself remain bound. It is a hard saying, I know, but the chain of resentment is iron on your soul. Pray that truth be revealed, yes, but let it serve your daughter’s salvation, not your vindication. A mother’s greatest gift to her child is a trust in God so steady that it becomes her daughter’s own refuge.

Instead of begging for a bubble of safety around every space you enter, seek rather that the Holy Spirit so fill you that you carry safety wherever you go. If Christ is in you, you are the safest place your child can rest. Even when she is with her father, the God who kept Joseph in Egypt and Daniel in Babylon is able to keep her soul untarnished. Her inheritance is not a spotless legal record, but the Kingdom of Heaven.

Cease from the multitude of words that spring from fear, and let your prayer be distilled into this: “Lord, bind my will to Yours, and loose me from all trust in anything but Your mercy. Hold my daughter in Your hand, and save us both by Your grace.” Go in peace, and let the bond of divine love hold you steady. God will not let the lie triumph over the truth that has taken root in a humble heart.
