We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your precious daughter up to our Heavenly Father. Your plea is heard, and we stand in agreement with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you or your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every scheme of the devil designed to separate you from your daughter, to bring fear, or to disrupt the peace and safety that God has ordained for your family.

First, we want to affirm the deep love you have for your daughter. The heart of a mother who seeks the Lord’s protection and guidance for her child is a reflection of God’s own heart. Scripture tells us that children are a heritage from the Lord, a reward from Him (Psalm 127:3). You are fighting not just for yourself, but for the well-being and future of your daughter, and that is a holy and righteous battle. We pray that the Lord would strengthen you in this fight, giving you wisdom, discernment, and the courage to stand firm in faith.

We must address the spiritual warfare at play here. The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Your ex, his family, and anyone else who seeks to harm you or your daughter are not your true enemies, they are being used by the enemy. We rebuke the spirit of division, manipulation, and deceit that seeks to destroy your family. We declare that every lie spoken against you will be exposed, and every attempt to slander or misrepresent you will be turned to your favor. The Lord is your defender, and He will arise on your behalf (Psalm 35:23).

We also lift up the matter of Child Protective Services (CPS) and any legal battles you may be facing. The fear of losing your daughter is real, but we serve a God who is greater than any court, any system, or any person. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that the hearts of those involved in your case would be turned toward justice, truth, and mercy. Guide your steps as you interact with CPS, and let every word you speak and every document you submit be filled with wisdom and integrity. May the truth be revealed, and may any false accusations or misunderstandings be cleared away. We declare that no legal action will succeed in separating you from your daughter, for the Lord Himself is your advocate.

Your request for a future husband is one that aligns with God’s design for marriage. We pray that the Lord would prepare your heart and the heart of the man He has for you. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it is good to desire a godly spouse who will love you and your daughter as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). We ask that the Lord would bring this man into your life in His perfect timing, and that He would give you patience and trust in His plan. Until then, we pray that you would find your completeness in Christ, knowing that He is your provider, protector, and peace.

We must also address the importance of forgiveness and blessing your enemies. Jesus commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This is not easy, especially when you have been wronged, but it is necessary for your own peace and spiritual growth. We pray that the Lord would soften your heart toward your ex and his family, not so that they would escape justice, but so that you would be free from bitterness and resentment. As you release them to God, He will fight your battles and turn their evil intentions into blessings for you and your daughter.

Your daughter is in the care of her father this week, and we know this brings you great concern. We pray that the Lord would surround her with His angels, protecting her from any harm, lies, or manipulation. May she feel your love and the love of Jesus even in your absence. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and that the Lord would guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for her salvation, that she would come to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior at a young age. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We pray that the foundation you are laying in her life would bear fruit for eternity.

As you navigate your education and new field of work, we pray for focus, understanding, and favor. The Lord is your strength, and He will give you the motivation and endurance you need to succeed. May your efforts be blessed, and may you walk in confidence, knowing that the Lord is with you. We declare that no slander or gossip will hinder your progress, and that the truth of who you are in Christ will shine through.

That doesn’t remove the anxiety, but it does mean your daily, faithful love is not wasted. The truth may take time to surface, but God is not fooled, and He is able to bring hidden things to light in the right season.

One thing that can help steady you is having a person in your corner who knows you and can pray with you regularly, maybe a trusted friend from church or a pastor. Sharing the burden with someone who can remind you of God’s faithfulness when your own feelings scream otherwise can make the road less lonely. You don’t have to figure out every next move alone; God will guide as you take one step at a time in honesty and trust.

Lord Jesus, wrap this mother and her precious daughter in Your peace that passes understanding. Guard them from every attack, cover their home and their hearts, and let no weapon formed against them succeed. Give her wisdom as she answers questions and fills out documents, let the truth stand clear. Melt hard hearts where needed, and turn every evil intention into a blessing. The cry of thine heart hath come up before the Lord of Sabaoth, and He whose ear is ever open to the sighing of His children doth regard thy petition. Yet, O woman, dost thou not remember that thy safety and the safety of thy little one lie not in the absence of trial, but in the sure promise of the Almighty? "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn." This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the Lord. Though thy foe doth rage and his tongue is set on fire of hell, yet the Lord God holdeth him in derision; He knoweth that the wrath of man shall praise Him, and the remainder He doth restrain. Thinkest thou that the arm of the wicked is free to smite without permission? Child of God, wilt thou for a moment reflect upon the overruling power of God even in the case of the most mighty and wicked of men? They sin grossly, and that which they do is of their own free will, and the responsibility for it lieth at their own door; yet the Lord maketh even their evil to serve His purposes of love toward His own. That trial which now affrighteth thee is only permitted, in His wisdom and love, for some good purpose toward thee; in the oven of affliction Divine Grace will prepare the bread of delight.

Thou hast prayed that the Lord would melt the heart of thine adversary and turn his lies to naught. The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: He turneth it whithersoever He will. He can make a stony heart to become a heart of flesh, and He can cause the mischief of the crafty to be brought upon their own heads. Only see thou to it that thy trust be not in the changing of men, but in the changeless God. Thou criest, "If Thou canst do anything, have compassion on us, and help us." But hear the Master's gentle rebuke: "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." The 'if' lieth not with Christ's ability, but with thy faith. He is able to keep thee from falling, and to present thee faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. His power is without limit; the blood of the covenant is of infinite worth. What though the danger seemeth as a great gulf? The Father standeth below, and He calleth thee to let go thy fears and drop into His everlasting arms. Thou clingest to the window-sill of thine own devices, fearing to trust. Cast thyself wholly upon Him.

Thou hast asked also for the protection of thy child. Know this: the seed of the righteous is under special care. The Lord watcheth over the little ones, and He will not suffer their souls to be ensnared without His gracious intervention. Pray for her salvation, for that is the chiefest good. Thou canst not be with her every hour, but He that keepeth Israel doth neither slumber nor sleep. His presence can compass her about, and where thou canst not watch, He doth. Yet remember, that even if trials should come, the Lord can restore the years that the locust hath eaten. He can make the rehearsal of past sorrows to sound a note of praise upon the harp of gratitude. All the memory and outcome of those troubles, transformed by the action of Divine Grace, shall be laid as treasure at thy Redeemer's feet.

Be careful that thou walkest in the truth, and buy it at any price. Let not thy heart be polluted by the evil tongues around thee, so that thou walkest by thine own sight and not by faith. The way of man is not in himself; it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. Lean thou, then, wholly upon the Lord, and He shall direct thy paths. The low tree, fostered by the Husbandman, shall mount even to the stars; the high tree, cut down by the axe of judgment, shall lie along the plains of ruin. Empty thyself of all vain conceit, and let the Lord fill thee with His fulness. The chiefest safety for the sheep is to keep close to the Shepherd; wander not from the green pastures of His Word, nor from the still waters of His ordinances.

And for the husband thou desirest: if it be the Lord's will, He shall bring it to pass in His season. But thy Maker is thy Husband; the Lord of hosts is His name. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto thee. Thy soul must find its resting place in Christ alone; He is the Bridegroom that will never fail thee, the Friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Let this be thy confidence: the Throne of God might sooner fail than that a saint of His can perish, for His Throne itself is established in righteousness. He hath loved thee with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness hath He drawn thee. Cast thy burden upon Him, and be at peace. The battle is not thine but God's; stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall bring it to pass. Let not thy heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Look to the cross; there is the pledge of every needed mercy. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

You pour out words for safety, but what foundation is under your life? Christ speaks of the house built on the rock: the floods came, the winds blew, and it did not fall, because it was founded on the rock. That rock is the steadfast keeping of His commands. If you are living in a way that defies His teaching, if marriage is torn asunder, if a new union is imagined while a child is used as a pawn, then you build on sand. You ask heaven to protect a structure you have not submitted to the Architect. The first step is not to demand a bubble against enemies, but to cast yourself down in repentance for any way you yourself have obeyed unrighteousness. For the guilt is one of free choice, not necessity.

You cry out against false accusations and plots. The true philosopher gives thanks in all things. What great thing have you suffered? Plots and slanders from enemies? It is not we who are injured by these, but they who are the authors of them. The soul that sins shall die, not the soul that is falsely accused. If your conscience is clean before God, why do you tremble at human reports? But if you tremble only at being exposed, then the real enemy is within. The war is intestine, among false brethren within your own heart, battling against truth. You ask that lies be revealed. So be it. But are you equally willing for your own hidden deeds to be brought into the light of Christ’s judgment?

You plead for the hearts of others to melt. Have you examined your own heart? The perilous times come from those who are lovers of themselves, unthankful, unholy. Do not count yourself among them by seeking only your own comfort and the removal of every earthly inconvenience. You ask Jesus to take the wheel while insisting He steer around every legal consequence. Submit to Him in truth. If you have sinned, confess it. If you have wronged another, make it right. That is the straight path. Vague prayers for blessing on a sinful situation are an abomination; they ask God to bless what He has called cursed. You cannot say “Your will be done” while demanding that no weapon formed against you prosper, when God Himself may be using those very trials to shatter your self-will and bring you to sobriety. Always to give thanks, this is the mark of a philosophic soul. Have you thanked Him for this affliction, this season of judgment?

You seek clarity. Here it is: the way to stop fearing the accusations of your ex is to become blameless before God. You fear the CPS. But if you are doing the right thing, what earthly power can separate you from the love of Christ? Yet if your focus is on keeping the child at all costs while defying the clear commands of God, you fight against heaven itself. The child is not your possession; she is a soul under God’s gaze, and you will answer for what you teach her by your life. Do you model obedience? Do you live chastely, as one redeemed? Or do you think a future husband, a man of faith, will be drawn to a woman who has not first made her own house a sanctuary of virtue? You ask to be a vessel of salvation to everyone you meet. Then start with yourself: be saved from the pollution of evil tongues, yes, but first from the pollution of your own heart. The one who despises sin already receives a reward, being freed from anxiety, from plotting, from the fear of accusation. Let your own life be so pure that any false statement collapses under its own emptiness. That is your true defense, and it needs no court to validate it.

Your prayer is the cry of a mother’s heart, and the Lord draws near to the brokenhearted. All this fear, all the swirling accusations and legal threats, all the worry over your daughter’s safety when she is with her father, it can feel like a battle you are fighting alone. But the word of God declares, “The battle is not yours, but God’s.” You are not meant to carry this weight in your own understanding. The Lord is your defense; the Hebrew pictures a high tower, a stronghold into which you can run and be safe. He does not ask you to scramble around proving every falsehood wrong. Just as Paul was hauled before rulers with empty accusations and no real witnesses, so your ex and others may fling charges. Yet when God rises up as your defender, no weapon forged against you and your daughter will prosper. That is the ironclad inheritance of everyone who belongs to Him.

I think of how even the most powerful rulers could not stop the birth of the promised Child in Bethlehem. God used a census, a long journey, a crowded inn, all of it, to bring His Son exactly where He needed to be. Your life and your daughter’s life are no less in His hands. The Child born in that stable would one day hang on a cross, and Mary’s soul was pierced as she watched Him suffer. Jesus knows your agony as a mother, and He has not forgotten you. When you beg Him to “take the wheel,” you are echoing the trust of a child learning to walk, you will stumble, but your Father’s hands are right there, steadying you. He does not expect you to be without weakness; He expects you to lean on His strength.

The Scriptures tell us to train up a child according to their way, not according to our own fears. Your daughter is not a mere extension of your pain but a person God knitted together with purpose, even before she was conceived. While she is with her father this week, you can entrust her to the Lord who sees all and restrains evil. Like David, who fasted and prayed while his child was sick but then rose in peace when the child died, saying, “I shall go to him,” you can have a godly confidence in God’s ultimate care for her soul. That does not mean you stop advocating for her safety, you must cooperate wisely with authorities and speak truth, but you do not let the dread rule your heart. The father’s lies and manipulation will be brought to nothing, because the Lord loves truth and the false prophet is eventually exposed by what fails to come to pass. Meanwhile, God can soften hearts. He can make even an enemy’s actions serve your blessing.

You asked for clarity and right decisions as you navigate CPS and your education. The Lord told Jeremiah, “I have made you this day a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls.” He will be your defense so that you can stand firm without panic. Stand still and watch the salvation of the Lord. He sees the documents, the conversations, every hidden motive, and He is able to cause the truth to shout above every false witness. Lean hard into His Word, not the whispers of fear or the reports of others. He will give you practical wisdom, just as He gave Joseph quiet steps to protect the young Child.

Finally, you prayed for a man of faith as a husband, and you prayed for His will to be done. Keep that tender openness. God’s timing is perfect, and in the meantime He is forming you into a vessel of His love, not just for your daughter but for everyone you meet. Your desire to be a channel of salvation to others is beautiful. Let the Spirit fill you so that even a simple conversation becomes a holy moment. The battle is fierce, but Jesus has already won. May His peace, which passes all understanding, garrison your heart and mind. In the name of Jesus, rest in His defense, and may you see His faithfulness unfold day by day.
