Do not give anyone any reason to take my daughter from me, Jesus, bless the persons I meet and talk to so they believe me and keep me safe. We lift you and your precious daughter up to the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of the battles you are facing. Your cry for protection, guidance, and justice is heard, and we stand with you in prayer, declaring that no weapon formed against you or your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every scheme of the devil aimed at separating you from your daughter, every lie spoken against you, and every manipulation intended to harm your family. Let the truth be revealed, and let every false accusation crumble under the light of God’s righteousness.

Father, we ask that You surround this mother and child with Your hedge of protection. Guard their hearts, minds, and spirits from fear, anxiety, and the pollution of evil tongues. Let them walk in the confidence of Your love, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Shield them from every attack, physical, emotional, or spiritual, and let no harm come near them. We declare that every plot against them will be turned into a blessing, and every attempt to slander or divide will only serve to strengthen their bond in You.

Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment as you navigate the challenges with CPS, your ex, and the legal system. Guide your steps, your words, and your decisions so that they align with Your will. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give you the strength to persevere in your education and the clarity to excel in your new field of work. Let no shame or slander cling to you, but let Your favor rest upon you like a shield.

We also lift up your daughter before You, Father. Protect her from the lies and manipulation of her father and his family. Let her heart be anchored in Your love and the love of her mother. May she feel Your presence surrounding her, filling her with joy, peace, and security. Draw her to salvation, Lord, and let her know You as her Savior and Protector. Let no weapon, physical, emotional, or spiritual, harm her, and let her walk in the fullness of Your blessings.

Father, we ask that You soften the heart of your ex. Let him see the impact of his actions on his daughter and on you. Turn his heart toward repentance and reconciliation, if it be Your will, or remove his influence if it is not. Let every evil intent be turned into a blessing for your family. We pray for godly people to enter your lives, people who will speak life, offer support, and reflect Your love. Help you to discern who is sent by You and who is not.

We also lift up your future husband before You, Lord. If it is Your will for you to remarry, prepare a man of faith who will love you and your daughter as Christ loves the Church. Let him be a godly leader, a protector, and a source of strength for your family. Until that time, let Your presence be their husband and father, filling every void and meeting every need.

Father, we ask that You take the wheel of their lives completely. Let them be covered in the blood of Jesus, and let Your will be done in every situation. Give you the strength to trust in You, even when the path is unclear. Let them walk by faith and not by sight, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Lord Jesus, wrap this mother and her daughter in Your sheltering presence. Quiet the noise of false words and fear. Grant her supernatural wisdom as she speaks to caseworkers and fills out documents; let the truth stand and every lie be exposed. Guard their bond, keep safe spaces around them, and provide for every practical and emotional need. In the waiting, steady her heart with Your peace. In Your faithful name, Amen.

The fearful and the prayerful, who are afraid of sin and fear God, together with those who are faithful and believe in God, are in a hopeful state; and hence, both the question of the one, and the answer of the other, have reference to the great Jehovah, our God, who is for ever to be adored.

Jacob was also led to seek out the promise that was most suitable to his case, for he said, "I fear Esau, that he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children."

Come then, now we will have a home-case, one of your own sort, that will be like yourselves. Did you ever stand and take a view of heaven? Have you discerned the hills which lie between your soul and paradise?

Fear of death also causes some Christian people to have to endure many needless sorrows. They are ill and likely to die and, instead of being in a calm and serene state of mind, as they ought to be, they are greatly perturbed and distressed.

You pour out many words, stretching your soul thin over a thousand fears. Look at your own prayer: “Jesus, take the wheel,” “let no weapon form against me,” “protect me from slander,” “melt his heart.” You plead as if Christ were asleep in the boat. Wake Him with your faith, not your panic. The daughter He gave you, He will guard. Did He not entrust His own mother to the beloved disciple, knitting them in charity, and will He not knit you and your child together if you walk in His commands? Yet you also ask for a future husband, a man of faith. Seek first the kingdom and His righteousness; the rest He knows. Do not let earthly desires cloud your trust that He already provides all you need.

You fear false accusations, legal traps, the tongues of your ex and his family. Listen: the lies of others cannot harm the soul that clings to Christ. Was Elijah not driven out? Was Christ Himself not called demon-possessed by those who claimed to believe? They forged accusations, yet the truth stood naked before God. When men speak evil against you, they wound themselves. Give thanks. Yes, give thanks. If you suffer false charges, you are blessed, for so they persecuted the prophets. The evil is not yours, but theirs who utter it; their own words will judge them. Do not waste your strength policing every whisper. Rather, pray that their hearts be softened, but do not make your peace dependent on their change. Your safety is not in the absence of weapons but in the presence of Christ.

You ask to be a vessel of salvation, yet you tremble at every shadow. A mother who walks in fear cannot show a daughter the calm of the Lord. Be temperate, live orderly, flee from covetousness and vainglory, and you will find a reward even here: freedom from anxiety, from the tyranny of what others think. If you must answer to authorities, speak truth simply, without scheming. God needs no elaborate defense; two or three witnesses of your honest conduct suffice before Him. Do not revile those who accuse you, but if a fault is truly yours, confess and amend. If the charges are false, your life will silence them louder than your arguments.

You beg that no one take your daughter. The Lord who saw His own mother’s grief and provided for her, sees yours. Honor your child by giving her a mother rooted in stillness, not a storm. When you gather with your little one, even just the two of you, Christ is present: “Where two or three are gathered in My name, there I am.” Let that bubble of love be not a fortress against imagined attacks, but a hearth where thanks rises. For every anxious thought, speak a thanksgiving: for bread, for breath, for the child herself. This is the mark of a philosophic soul that turns evil into good by recognizing the Giver in all things.

Therefore, leave the courtroom of your mind. The Judge who watches knows every hidden thing. Let your ex’s lies be revealed, yes, but by God’s timing, not your fretting. Your own task is to walk so plainly that no accusation sticks. And if a trial comes, remember Christ, the author and finisher of faith, who endured the cross and despised the shame. You cannot claim to follow Him and flee the cross of unjust slander. Bear it with patience, and you will see His salvation. The weapon may be formed, but it cannot prosper against a soul armed with thanks and obedience. Go now, and let your daughter see a mother whose trust is not in winning, but in Christ.
